the rope you see is not the parasail line thats only for launching the chute. simply the captain stopped the winch with out slowing down. lack of experience. at least he knew the recovery procedures.
the rope brake by the captain fault while he was releasing the rope he was in full speed when he stop the rope the boat was still in full speed...that would never happen if he slow the boat and stop the rope and again put the normal speed reason 1 the wind is strong 2 he don't know pressure 3 never take the boat and go behind the parasailing 4 the parasailing is too big for the wind and he put heavy weigh also?
Right On. Now I have my main concern answered. I am planning on parasailing next summer for first time. I was worried about line snapping or winch breaking down and what would happen. Now I know that you can make it to a soft water landing. Thanks.
Inability to disconnect your harness seems to be the main cause of drowning in parasailing, which would presumably be even harder in high wind as the chute would be pulling hard on the straps. It's definitely not safe landing in the water, as you can seemingly see by the panic of the crew.
Hey Tammy, Lol, it wasn't that serious. He knew lifeguard procedures. He could swim out there and bring them back. On the flipside: Just idiotic to be playing on the water and can't swim, no breathing techniques, absolutely no skills, just throw your life in someone else's hands and mercy- for a thrill. I don't think thats becoming of grown folks who cannot swim, Too lazy to learn, seems like too much work.
Those kinds sports are not for foolish ppl who can't swim. I guess dummie ppl who can't swim will never stop playing rush roulette with the water sports.
I’m just glad that guy decided to wear boxers under his swim trunks that day!😂

Capt did a amazing job with this rescue. shut the motor off once getting the chute deflation.
Jesus!
After watching what happened to those two girls, you guys are super lucky!

If it broke you fly into space if the wind was strong enough! They would have to use the space shuttle to get you back!
