True story. A friend was driving 5 Series and Passat for some time. He changed to a 3 yr old Camry and his mecahnic told him "I'm gonna miss you so much"
Do you know why in my toyata camry alarm suddenly went on and the key get locked and had to open by using the metal key and the lights didnot turned off in auto mode and had to leave it on whole night 😢
Nice review, really appreciate the efforts done for your car review videos. Can you add another prop, hospital wheelchair, to your review the boot space capacity?
hey there. the camry looks great but its above my budget. Looking for a reliable, comfortable car that can stand the test of time. Will the new corolla altis be a good pick?
Hey sgcarmart. Since you mentioned ventilated seats the new Camry hybrid is now available through the AD and it has ventilated seats, apple carplay and Android auto. Would be nice if you do review facelift cars as well
Total agree with the review.. I have a red hybrid 2018/19 Camry (exactly the same as the one you reviewed).. lovely car to drive!! 😀btw, great review, guys!!
Given the price of S$152k after being 1 year late to market, what do you get compared to the S$115k for a parallel imported Camry Hybrid - which has more power than the 2L and is said to be the best one to drive by Toyota engineers, courtesy of the battery that sits low in the rear chassis? At 115k, the camry hybrid sure looks to be within striking distance of a Mazda 3.
In the US lots of complaints about this camry's transmission jerk and hesitant when trying to accelerate, and gear not able to decide which gear to go to. In fact Scotty Kilmer has a video just a few months ago "Why not to buy a new Toyota Camry". Did you guys experience any of those?
He's just a cry old salty guy that ain't fond of new car technologies. Looking at his channel, he's only keen on the older models (10-20 years old) whereby there lesser technologies packed into it. No sense of class, and can I say, his car is damn messy... Oh common.. What gen are we in now? Honestly, what do you look for during your purchase? Technology is a must right? It's 2020, not 2000. Move on. Enjoy life abit. If you can afford a car in SG, definitely standby cash for maintenance at least. Else, take the BUS/MRT. Update : He just bought a new Civic Type R. Lmao..
I enjoyed it a lot more when u guys were more candid in the delivery while u were filming inside the car. I think its a lot more engaging when you just be yourselves. It was a good review nevertheless.
natnut2008 Reliability for sure, but better chassis and suspension will be contentious. That said, reliability on its own is good enough to justify the $150k.
We're not too sure.. officially on their global website, their current tagline is 'Let's Go Places'. But more importantly, we're glad to know that you watched till the end! Thanks for watching :)
The host Julian can afford to be less stiff. The commentary when both are in the car during the drive is so much more comfortable to watch than before the whole charade before the drive. It was damn fake. Just saying.
I'm 40 and I wouldn't be caught in a Camry with creamy cabin... this car will attract real uncles and aunties 50 to 60 perhaps. And James should have been in this review instead of the Supra one..

the producer in the back seat explains everything about this car. :D

U have the BM Camry( this one u reviewed) and also the PI ones i.e the hybrid listed in your website. What are the differences?
I love your videos... hope you guys can consider making a review on rav4

Exactly! We think Toyota did a great job with this one. And thanks for your support, stay tuned for more 😃

It's not faulty. The way it works is just fine. Matter of getting used to it. BTW..Scotty just made a video favoring this gearbox on the new Rav 4.
Strange to see you say the design of the infotainment consol is like a kimono but there are no shots of it throughout the whole video?

will the camry trd come to singapore?
please review the mazda CX-8
share the 2019 Camry 2.5cc hybrid Version
Will buy!
Where's the TRD version?
Just curious, at this price tag, why would someone go for it instead of passat at 20k lower...?
I find paying $150k for a Made in Thailand Camry hard to swallow.
@@wongbrandon and I wonder which part Camry does better than Passat to make it more expensive..
Reliability. Spaciousness. Better chassis and suspension than the Passat.

Passat will cost you way more than $20K heartache, inconvenience, regrets, & anger.
Crazy car prices
Isn't that what Toyota motto or tagline is ' giving people what they need and not what u wany'

over 100k usd for camry?
good luck living in SG
The PI model is way cheaper and better. In terms of features and equipment, why can't the AD get it right in the first place
No mention on fuel efficiency? Cmon its a hybrid! The annual fuel savings will offset the road tax premium on a 2.5
Please comment if the car is quiet or noisy as we cannot feel from watching the videos. TQ
We need more exciting people to do the rating of the car. No offense guys.
i dont like the light steering
