Oh I love that you're sharing the rotating toys and books tip. I did this with my daughter and it was awesome! We also used the local toy library which saved on buying a lot of toys. My daughter tended to borrow the same toys on rotation and she felt like it was Christmas every visit because she got to choose her favourite toys
Toy rotation is key! It’s funny because I also love toys. I feel like I could embrace a minimalist lifestyle for every other part of my home EXCEPT for toys however toy rotation is key.
There are so many ways to do it but this is the easiest for me because I have to deal with it when I can’t fit anything else, but I don’t have to have some elaborate system every month or something to try to keep track of
The toy rotation works wonders. I started doing that because of you 😆 now the barstool with art work, my 1 year old is a climber 😂 she figured out how to climb on anything 😩 it drives me crazy 🤪 thanks for the tips. You did give me an idea for my entry way 💗
Yes my second daughter was like that too - she climbed up on the table and hung from the chandelier before she could walk at 10 months. Fun times! My youngest will try to climb up there but it’s hard to with those stools thankfully
I love your videos. I have been watching you since you had home daycare. I was really into those videos because I had been in the childcare industry for 20 years. Both in a daycare setting and as a private nanny. Originally I am from Minnesota. Are you in the Twin Cities? Can’t believe how big your kids have gotten.
Sort of! I cut a big piece of melamine to size and then you can buy strips that you iron on for the raw edge. Then we screwed it to the cube units from underneath
Idk what it is but I really don't like toys. 😕 My system for 5 months has been to keep them in a closet and bring out a bin a day. My kids also have only 1 bin in their room. I felt horrible doing it, but my son never cared. 😆 I can count on 1 hand the number of times he's ever asked for me to bring out a certain toy. I've never really gotten my son to play independent. He's such an extrovert so maybe that's why. Having so many toys he use to be a "toy dumper" and never played with them. It would be overwhelming for him to have to clean up. Now when the day is done I say "clean up your toys" and he's done in 5 min. I clean up the baby toys in 5 min. In addition he never needed 3/4 of them anyway. He wants to pretend to have a phone? He uses a lego as a phone. It doesn't matter that he has an actual play phone. Kids create what they want anyway.
I'm happy to see that you're included in the big event!
Thank you! It’s an honor to be a part of it!

Very cool idea! We just had one open in our area!
I am horrible with paper clutter 😢. I think I like the Sunday basket that you have.

I’ve been doing more rotation and it’s helped so much!!!
It’s my favorite!!!! It really does help my kids play more deeply and feels like Christmas every month 🤣

Wow thank you for following me on my journey! 💖
We used to live in the Twin Cities but not anymore. These kids are growing so fast!
Great video so many good ideas x
Thank you!
Great tips!!
Thank you!
Did you just get two cube organizers and lay a piece of wood on top to create this desk space in your daughters room?? I am so interested!

@@HomeschoolGlue love it! I’m redoing my artsy girl’s room. Thanks!😊
Another option is to buy a basic uncut door, although that may be less affordable right now
@@username00009 that is clever. Thanks 😊
I don't have so many toys to switch them, maybe because I've got only two daughters (almost 6 and almost 3)a and play with the same toys every day
👍🏼
