To be honest I’m more a Gukesh fan than a Magnus fan but of course I recognize how Great Magnus is Jerry has to be the only guy that can show a Magnus game and not sound like a Big Cheer leader Rah Rah Rah Appreciated for his calm demeanor in his voice
I totaly understand your point, im a magnus fan and a norwegian. but even for me it can be to much cheerleading when i watch Magnus recaps. but i don't blame the chess youtubers for using Magnus. if had a Magnus equivalent in my work where i could use it make i little bit more money, i would. But jerry, always a delight to listen to. And if your a Gukesh fan, wow. you have some nice years in front of you:) what a talent.. 17 and in a world chess champion match. insane.
On move 34, wouldn't Qe1+ also just be a fork with the knight on A5 in the scenario you explained? Seems like a much safer and less complicated option to first check and then pick up the knight instead of walking up the king I to a less defensible position
Magnus won 10 games in a row + its his 7 tournament wins in a row + he played and in the final in CCT final. + magnus remains #1 in all formats in ratings Undeniable goat.
@@T-Dogg121 More attacking doesn't mean better. Carlsen is a better rounded player defensively, positionally and tactically. Also, simply a better chess player than Kasparov ever was. Longevity is the only aspect Kasparov is relying on still, but I suspect it doesn't matter any more because Carlsen has shown dominance for almost similar duration.
No,not Pirc Defense❗ This is Modern Defense. 1.e4g6 is Modern Defense. 1.e4d6 is Pirc Defense. This game is an example for Modern Defense/ Pirc Variation... 1.d4e6 is Horwitz Defense. 1.d4d6 is Pribyl System. 1.d4Ac6 is Lundin/ Kewitz - Mikenas Defense...
Since you’re lacking brain cells, positions can transpose into other positions. If you actually knew your theory you wouldn’t have commented this but you’re probably 600 elo
You literally know nothing about theory. The position transposed from a modern defense to a pirc. Go study some before trying to correct someone who is obviously better than you
@@rrevh12345 I do not agree with you and I do not want to argue this case with you. Jerry: throws in the towel
Stolen from someone else here.

Jerry is as consistently good as anyone out there. Never seen a bad video on this channel.
He's consistently better than anyone out there
In my estimation, he is consistent and unbiased.
That's why he's the goat, the goat
I've been playing chess longer than Gukesh has been alive and his blitz game is more accurate than my correspondence play
Very sneaky on both sides. Love to see games like this.

Thanks for such a nice and calm explanation with different options of play 🙂

Na5 is a check.
pirc is such a beautiful opening
I like the multiple choice questions
Ne5 from Magnus really turned the tide of the Game Magnus making Super Great decisions not just capturing pieces
Such a cool game. Both of them are amazing.
Magnus won 10 games in a row
+ its his 7 tournament wins in a row
+ he played and in the final in CCT final.

Undeniable goat.
Magnus has a weight between 27 kg and 140 kg, two horns, four stomachs, two-toed hooves, and pale irises. Undeniable goat.
Kasparov: longer, more dominant, more attacking.

Need to make up a new title that’s higher than world champion. Lol. No, seriously. Magnus is on another level.
