Hey Deni 👋🏾 I’m also from Maryland....grew up in Baltimore City. In a few years I hope to move to FL. Each time I visit FL I set aside a couple days to tour different cities and neighborhoods. Celebration is gorgeous...reminds me of the historic Guilford area in Baltimore near 39th street. It even suffers from the same type of preconceived notions as the Guilford area. Celebration feels like a small town...I think I would enjoy. When I do relocate, I plan to rent for at least a couple years. Great show. Stay healthy! 👍🏾
Love Celebration and it is a little Stepford -like but that doesn't bother me. However, what a shame they don't reopen the movie theatre. It seems like a dead area with that empty movie theater right in the middle of downtown. They should fix that.
The numbers line up well. Your mortgage payment shouldn't be more than 28% of your monthly gross income. So at 98k the estimated monthly maximum amount for a mortgage is just shy of $2300 per month. A 500k house with a 20% down payment is also just shy of $2300 per month; this amount does take into account estimated property tax, insurance, hoa ECT.
he says family, but then says family again followed by 200k a year. so maybe he meant $98k annually per person. even still that must be take home, because if that is the before taxes income per person 500k still seems like a lot.
If one isn't in debt and/or owns their home, $98k is easily within reach, especially if they're a bit older (45+). Even though most debt-ridden people can't do it, I personally know many people who are in that financial situation.
I love Sean. Anything that ends with “agent” and he’s got you covered. Travel, real estate, talent, secret service, you name it, he does it! I do sincerely enjoy Sean though. What I don’t enjoy is this show. It sucked about a year ago when they did more or less this same exact episode on Celebration with Eric Gross and it sucks now. Don’t understand why a travel agency in Dreams Unlimited keeps making attempts at also becoming a real estate agency. I can look this shit up on Zillow.
HDaviator I’m aware. The old episodes removed after Pete’s falling out with Eric Gross sucked and these remakes do too. They should take the whole concept of the show down altogether.
More Than Thrills I wasn’t. It autoplayed in the background as I was playing with my son after watching the normal high quality Dis content about Walt Disney World, what they actually specialize in and what the overwhelming majority of followers are interested in. You couldn’t pay me to affirmatively click, sit, and watch this crap show of my own volition.
I love Celebration, FL from day 1 it was introduced. I live in Tampa and there’s a community from the same Disney Designers of Celebration designed Westchase. This is a nice community but NOTHING like Celebration. I would love to live there one day. I almost rented an apt there when I thought I was getting hired at an accounting firm but they ended up getting rid of the position I was interviewed for (good thing). Still living in Tampa but to live in Celebration and be 10-15 mins away from the parks is nice.
My daughter has lived in Celebration for almost 5 years and her family loves it. At first it felt like a Stepford wives movie set when I first visited. At times a little creepy. After visiting another dozen times. I have come to know the area well. I like the town center, golf course, and the trails. I rent bikes and get early morning rides before it gets to hot. Being from th SF bay area, the cost comparisons I find better value in Celebration than San Jose. You get a lot of bang for your buck, The community pools are nice especially in Artsian Park. Visitors seem to like visiting. It's a safe place for kids to run around town freely and safely. Overall, for me as a regular visitor, it is a great place to live and raise a family as well for retirees too.
In Celebration there are no short-term rentals allowed. All homes need to be rented (leased) for at least a year. Garage apartments can be rented for a minimum of 3 months.
Hi Carole, i saw an article about how the residents of Celebration were having major problems with the company running things. Do you know if that article had any validity to it? I was wondering if things were really that bad or if the media was blowing things up for a story. Thanks!
@@SuMMeRFLi5 Just saw your response- thank you! Do you know what the lawsuits are about? I see several condos for sale- but do you know which ones are run by a decent company?
@Chucky Gold I read in the article that residents were paying their HOA fees but then things that are the responsibility of the HOA were not being done. One person's condo was getting moldy from a leak, yet they were ignoring fixing it. And she was not allowed to bring in her own person to fix it so she was stuck with a moldy home. There were multiple people with issues like this.

Glad to see Pete back in the studio
I love Celebration so much. Some of my favorite memories were made there. Living there would feel like a dream

98k average income and 500k houses?! These numbers don't seem to add up
There are mortgages, you know
@@george_8825 yes, but it doesn't seem like someone making that much could afford to live there.

what happened to the old moving to orlando videos? They where removed.
Pete made a statement on his Facebook page in March that they cut ties with someone in the previous Moving to Orlando videos so I assume that’s why
@@kahristah Oh, that explains a lot.
Not sure but it was something very shady... I don’t think it’s coincidence that Sean became a realtor out of the blue
I was wondering what happened to the original realtor from the show
I really like the information overview given at the beginning. It helps put it in perspective.

Thanks for the video! I appreciate that you addressed what isn't to like in Celebration as well.
I don't see how anyone that loves nature can live in a place where you can just have three plants. These places have a huge toll on their environment
If you live in Celebration, is your address Celebration, Fla? Or is it something else?
Gia Barletta it’s celebration in your adrs isn’t that FAN?
It’s Celebration, FL
What does the HOA do with your money, is it a bit like our Council Tax over here in the UK? Cheers
Landscaping, trash removal, community pool.

Hi
You 3 put on a good vlog, not forgetting Craig the techy in the background.
A nice insight into Celebration and I enjoyed it
A big thanks

Does Celebration k-8 school have a uniform code? We live in New Orleans and all schools here have them and we would like to avoid that.
I wonder if there are "normal families" in Golden Oak?
How much experience does Sean have at being a realtor?
Ryan L I think he has mentioned being pretty new to it.
Thanks for the info, this will help talk my wife of ever moving to celebration! Whew. Sounds tough.
HOAs on River Road in West New York New Jersey for a Condo can exceed 1500 a month.
$6000 a year taxes on a $400K house? My taxes are more than that on a $200K in NJ.
The villages seem comparable but for 55!and over . Also you can not beat celebration town tavern for authentic New England fare
Always visit when in the area !
Suprisingly high property taxes.
Deni! I live in Celebration too! I will never live anywhere else.
Could you please include the subject of buying and using the property for a short term rental? It would be great to have the info in future shows.

There’s already enough people who live here as it is !
Thanks Pete, now get some rest. You look tired.
