    Just started my journey as a holy pala and love these vids. The commentary is great for hints and tips for a newb. Thanks!

    Love watching you play. I quit playing my dwarf Paladin in solo shuffle. I couldn’t break out of the 1400s. It’s my first season doing arenas and I needed a break from sucking. lol. I know it’s probably the exact opposite thing i should do. Awesome video though. Love it!

      Appreciate the kind words! Solo shuffle can be a really tough place to learn how to play! My only advice is to not give up and just make sure you’re having fun. One trick I’ve learned is to turn off my chat settings while I’m in RSS. Makes the matches much more enjoyable 😂

      @@Shukumei_WOW 😂 that’s some great advice. Do you have a video about your UI that you could direct me to? Thanks for the reply

      A lot of my settings are just the basic blizzard UI. The only addons I run are:
      GladiusEX
      Bigdebuffs
      And then optional addons are Omnibar and DRtracker

    Absolutely fun to watch & learn, just sub. I am such a noob and still learning to heal in Arenas and this video was so helpful! Please could you share all your addons, nameplates , and also the one which shows enemy spells at the top of their frames and any Weakauras you are using. Thanks!

      Thank you! Yeah for sure! The addons that I run are called:
      GladiusEX
      Bigdebuffs
      Omnibar (sometimes I leave this one off)
      Im not running any weakauras but they’re very useful for extra reminders of stuff.

    Could you show your gear on the next one? I know you said it's done no previous shuffles but it would be good to have a baseline idea of what you're going in with. I've also noticed on my pala that I'm only gaining as much MMR as the other healer is losing(this has been the case from around 1200 to my current 1500), any idea on when this starts to happen because it clearly hasn't happened in this game.

    • @Shukumei_WOW
      @Shukumei_WOW  11 місяців тому +2

      Sure! Yeah my alt Paladin has all its gear from 2v2. Usually around 1500 CR the rating gain will start to slow down a bit, but it also depends on where the MMR is at compared to CR.

      Cool to see a holy paladin played properly haha. Just started solo shuffles and it's showed me the holes in my play style, just get hell overwhelmed and crumble haha. Getting plenty of abuse in my chat, it's amusing. Trying to get the conquest points is a drag when loosing 80% of the time. But practice I guess hey.

      @breadandbutter8888 Gearing up can be really frustrating! I always recommend gearing in 2v2 before jumping into shuffle. Also in your chat settings you can turn off whispers from people who aren’t on your BNET. Makes the entire shuffle experience much more enjoyable

    Awesome content & video man! I gotta watch the rest of your stuff. I've been a Hpal main since vanilla (main alg arms war) but have only hit 2k way back in the day... thanks for the inspiring videos and helpful games for us hpals. The dream has always been to hit 2.4k and make content and I gave up on that for a very long time but now watching you reignites my passion and faith in the Hpal army. Cheers bro. 👊🙏
    Question, how do you know who to beacon out of gate in 3s, and when to swap it to you? Thanks man. Keep it up.

    • @Shukumei_WOW
      @Shukumei_WOW  11 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Usually i beacon who I think they’re going to focus. I rarely swap beacon to me unless both dps swap to me and I know they’re just going to focus me. There is also a scenario where dps split and I’ll put beacon of faith on me, but not the main beacon. (Also random side note but make sure you cast both beacons before the gates open because it’s 2.5% base mana)

    Great video my guy. I'm just getting back into WoW and was wondering if you had a reccomendation for a healer to play as someone returning getting their feet wet again? Love BG's but want to dive into solo shuffle and arena more seriously. Thanks for the input.\

    • @Shukumei_WOW
      @Shukumei_WOW  11 місяців тому

      Appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it! So it really depends on what playstyle you like. When I’m healing BGs I typically like to play my preservation evoker because they can do big burst aoe heals and they also have great mana. For solo shuffle my priest and Paladin are my favorites. The best healer overall right now is resto Druid but I just haven’t touched it since I unlocked the elite set this season. I guess the best answer if you want to seriously climb rating is probably resto Druid. It also has a really high skill ceiling

    • @masonking2253
      @masonking2253 11 місяців тому

      @Shukumei_WOW Thank you for the quick response. That reads to me to play every healer. Haha. I guess I'm wondering what would be the easiest to learn while trying to learn all the new game info and other class abilities? I understand no healing is particularly easy, but what has a low skill floor and still a decent ceiling to push as I learn? I understand it's not resto sham. Haha

    • @Shukumei_WOW
      @Shukumei_WOW  11 місяців тому

      @masonking2253 Resto Druid. The basics of resto Druid are keeping max range and keeping people alive. Then the more comfortable you get you can start to use it’s toolkit offensively. Clone is extremely powerful. I will say that no matter what healer you pick it will be tough this late in the season to get fully geared. I would recommend doing 2v2/daily bg wins to gear then trying solo shuffle. Whatever you do don’t try to use solo shuffle to gear.

    • @masonking2253
      @masonking2253 11 місяців тому

      @Shukumei_WOW oh wow, that's surprising to me. I figured Druid would be on the harder end because of powershifting/kiting correctly, amongst other things. Maybe I'll try that.

    • @Shukumei_WOW
      @Shukumei_WOW  11 місяців тому

      @masonking2253 yeah to master Druid takes a lot of skill, but to just do the basics of putting up lifebloom, rejuv, adaptive swarm etc is pretty simple. They also have an immunity with tranquility. So it’s pretty forgiving at lower ratings. The higher you climb the less forgiving any healer will become.
