Thanks for the positivity. I'm an old schooler late bloomer that's just about to get my CDL soon. I was laid off a couple of months ago, and decided to follow my younger brother into the trucking industry (he just got his CDL a couple of weeks ago). I've been listening to a lot of trucker stories and opinions; you come from the angle that I need to hear... simply positive & affirmative. Please keep doing what you do and speaking the way you speak because it is very much needed and appreciated.
I really appreciate the kinds words. No will stop you now that you have started but you. Take what you have learned and let this be a way to leave a legacy for your children’s children. Don’t lose sight of way you made this change! Hope nothing but the best for you. Thanks for the comment it really helps me in a time like this Druckus.
I appreciate your honesty brother in Christ. After all the numerous videos in doing my own research about trucking company's. I do believe the lord led me to this page of yours and video for one reason. Was honest truth. Keep up your gift of encouragement. I just applied for a training school here in Texas. The rest is in the lords hands. But I believe Werner is it. Thank you for your video and honest truth. God Bless you.
Andrew thank you for the uplifting words. Werner is most certainly a good starter company. Just make sure you stick to your plan no matter what. I know you will keep Christ first and keep your head up out there. Be safe and loyal to Christ alone.
I just saw a paid training post for Werner on Indeed. Came to UA-cam to get more information. I've been thinking about a CDL for a year now. I'm in third party warehousing and it's outgrown it's usefulness for me. I need more. Your video made quite an impact on me. I really appreciate it. Subbed.
Sorry I have messaged you back Hank. Hope you are doing well. Hope you get in a truck and out that warehousing. Just for you to hear, a CDL is a tool that you can use when and how you want to. Keep the Lord first and all will follow.
First, thanks for that opening. People need to hear that. And that you stayed with the company in hopes of making a positive change in Werner. Be safe and thanks for keeping 100% real.
Ronnie, I truly appreciate your comments. Especially the parts about people owning their own outcomes. How you encourage people is uplifting. Keep up the good work. I am seeking a role with Werner and if successful will look forward to meeting you.
Yo yo yo. Great Vid. I’m sitting on the bed Werner Dallas Terminal Hotel waiting for my Leader. This a career change from 25yrs as an RN and 5 yrs as a professional actor NYC/LA As US Army vet to boot, I’m excited and nervous… but that comes with change. This is all new to me. Thanks for your guidance and words. And yes, I can do this and safety safety safety is my new word. Peace
Jerry hope all works out for you. Thanks for checking out the video and leaving these encouraging words. You will do just fine and all will fall in place for you. This is one of those it all in what you make type of journeys, as most things are.
Just found your channel. Thank you for the positive message! Your energy is great ! I am thinking of giving Werner a try in a few months, just trying to last until the spring with my current job. I am going to check out your other videos.
Glad you found the channel, thanks for checking out the videos and commenting. Hope whatever you do you have a plan and from the sounds of it you do. Keep doing what you are doing Im happy for and that you are being aware of your future Paul!
These guys went to my school last month. I like the route they have to Washington, Oregon and Nevada. I just got my cdl and look forward to working for these guys.
This is an excellent and positive video. I’m looking into getting my CDL and I put Werner on the list that I created of companies that hire new grads. Having a positive mindset is so important in every area of life. God bless you and thank you very much for the great content I’ll be praying for you and your family
Absolutely agree with this review! Went with Werner right outta school and got some great experience from there. Had a great trainer, got a good account, and was able to really understand and grasp the trucking world. I may have quit to start up college, but if I go back, I may honestly hit Werner back up with how well they have treated and helped me. Have a great day, and keep up the awesome content!
That kind of noises would relax me and put me to sleep. But music will keep me from learning, concentrating, sleeping, and steal all my peace. Not a mental problem, but a brain-based auditory processing disorder that there is no effective treatment for, and noise cancelling headphones wont block out bass, and neither will earplugs of any kind by themselves. A nightmare which i get only few and small breaks from. Count yourself lucky, or let this experience remind you that some people have the problem youre having, only its with music, and let that remind you not to play car/truck stereo, and listen to music only in headphones. 👍 life is a learning experience for all of us. Here's to constant improvement for us all. 🍻
Your comments about individual people making "the Werner experience" good or bad is spot on! I had a DM that was terrible but had several phenomenal staff to try and bridge the gaps. Yes they are decent, and great place to get experience. Good video.
I start CDL school in 3 weeks, Im seriously looking at Werner as my first choice. You’re very uplifting. I typically don’t comment but I have to give you props. Between you and Neisha K I’m just about sold on Werner. 😊
Thanks for the props Lawren. Hope that everything works out for you. Make sure you look at whats best for you and hometime, ask lots of question to recruiters. What I mean in detail is on my channel under the video Werner Enterprises has multiple accounts. Pick whats best for you at whatever company you go to.
I’ve been with Werner for almost 8 years now and even though I know I could get paid more at another company I know with the account that I’m on I’m guaranteed to be home every weekend….. I run the Home Depot account out of Savannah…. And I definitely agree with everything I’ve heard from you so far…. And I definitely know about having bad fleet managers but I also know that having good fleet managers as well…. You Gotta make the best of every situation and when I was over the road that’s why I made it a point that when I was in Omaha to go up to the office and actually meet the fleet manager face-to-face so he could put a face with the number you talking to
Kid Billy, thanks for stopping in and leaving those honest word’s. You are right about fleet managers both good and bad are out there. Glad to see that you found a place to call home for a while. Hope that you be safe out there and know that I appreciate you for stopping in. Maybe I’ll see you out there some day being I go to Savannah GA a lot.
I'm getting ready to go to Werner in Fontana once I get all my paperwork together to go to their school and drive for them. Thanks for the outlook bro...
Been with Werner also 3 yrs now and I'm a leader going on 2 yrs and didn't find anything in what you had to say untrue.....I will say that werner will stand behind what they say and some fleet managers will try to run you hard but you just have understand your 70hr o'clock and don't let them tell you what you have to do, if you don't feel safe or comfortable speak up and don't find yourself being the yes man....Great video keep up the good work my boy!
Man I’m in The CDL school and take my CLP next week. We had a brief this morning from Werner and I believe this is the company that I’m going to choose. Thanks for your opinions and keep it up
Don’t give up out there and happy to see that you made the big step. You learn a lot from the people that gets on that truck. Be safe and stay stress free out there.
New driver in Roadmaster trucking school soon to be starting with Werner, and I appreciate you taking time out to give an honest review..Subbed up to to your channel and look forward to staying connected with you bro.🤝🏿
Make the best of what you get boss. Hope that what you planned be the best for you. Keep your head up and don’t let anyone discourage you. You will be just fine.
Thanks for the vid in trucking school and trying to figure out if I want to go with Warner to get some months under my belt and I’m wondering about Werner they seem good enough to make the money I need and support my family
Thanks for the comment, and you are very much welcome. You have to do what you have to do Franklin. Like I said its a decent company, do your research and find out whats best for you mental state of mind plus what works best for your home time.
I’m thinking about coming to you guys I’m just very nervous to go back over the road because the past bad experience that I had with another company and I just don’t want the same problem to occur…. This is a wonderful video
Don’t be nervous Azell, just be sure of what you want to do. Don’t listen to what they have to offer you tell them what you want and only do what you want to do. Stick to whatever plan you have and leave once you hit that expiration date. Dont be loyal to a human be sure God has your back.
I'm in cdl school my 4 day in a truck. Can't get straight backing down nor my offsets smfh! Shit actually made me break down and cry when I got back to my hotel. Funny part werner came in and talked to us via their recruiter. I pray I get this class a driving shit.
Listen, you will get it. The goal is to have a plan when you do. Don’t listen to no one including myself. Relay on research and awareness. Have a goal and deadline. Never chase money, the money will come the experience is more important. Keep God first and all will follow. Thanks for the comment. Be safe
Quick question, where would you park your truck if you live away from a terminal when you go home? I am trying to work for Werner for my first trucking job. Kind Regards
alonemote! You are the first person that really appreciated my bloopers! Thank you! I find those the best part of my videos thus far.🥹 Sorry about the volume of those couldnt get them as loud as I needed to.
Yes and you will owe them money if you dont stay with them for the contract amount of time Calvin. Find a community collage near you and see if they have a cdl training course that you can attend for a cheaper price.
Tim thanks for the comment. You have to have 30 days experience now to get into Werner or graduate from a school that they approve of. Hometime is a must for a peace of mind. Depending on where you are from hometime maybe on your side from Werner you just have to see what they offer you when you call and talk with them. Best of luck to you.
Yes I went to Beaufort its a wonderful school. They gave me a lot of tools that I have used in Werner that help me manage. Make sure you find what you want to do (do your research) before you get here, (hometime)what account that fits your lifestyle and what states you want to run in and only come when you know for sure and they have met all you needs. Wish I could say more but experience comes from you doing and not from me telling, be safe and maybe we will met one day. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
Most definitely I appreciate it ! I know I wanna do otr and see the country I’m 22 nothing really keeping my home my main concern is figuring out what’s the best otr account making decent money . I saw they had a pods fleet account or something like for my area but imma definitely do more research
I am currently at a CDL driving school. They have werner loaned trucks and werner signs all over the school and a recruiter that comes by after we graduate. I assume i am going to go with werner. I hear mixed reviews for the company so i am not really sure what to expect. I want to get the most experience i can from warner on OTR. Is that a good choice with the company or should i search out other companies?
Hopefully this message reached you in time. Werner is a good starter company, but make sure that it fit your life style. You have a lot more options that can potentially fit fit what you need at this point of your cdl experience. Don’t settle for what don’t make you happy with when it comes down to when you will like to be home. Most companies will make it seems good but may not be good for you. Hope that you get what you deserve. Be understanding of what you want need not so much of what you want.
We had a Werner recruiter give a presentation at our CDL school and I really liked what he had to say. I honestly never looked into Werner before I started school. I was looking at Swift and Raul. Raul was my 2nd choice with local being first. Did you get to pick your truck and what account do you drive for?
Hope that you do your research for what you want and need. You don’t get to pick out the truck you want you name which kind or model and they will give you what they have available. Hope all is going well for you sorry to respond late.
Hi I have cdl a with hazmat and tanker and double triples endorsements but no experience and I need you advice which company good for recent graduate swift or Werner ?
Hi there. I want to be honest. Just starting with any company is hit or miss. Endorsements will help you once you get at least one year experience. But if I had to chose being I’ve been through both wink wink, I would pick Werner. Why because as long as you keep what you have in mind and not let anyone tell you how to run your truck you will be ok. Don’t let easy become who you are, trails and tribulations will help you in the long run. Be smart and safe. Thanks for the comment.
I quit Warner because dispatch was taking me 50 to 100 miles our of my way, three times i had to call about where the load was suppose to go , got three different answers, i then call the customer and ask where they were located, i had to go back 100 miles and i did get there on time, that was the last time and the next day i went to the closest terminal and turned in my truck, never going to drive for anyone else again, i went back to where i worked before and i got a raise, i mad $ 19.00 an hour and 10 hours a day 6 days a week, made more than truck driving, and i was home every day, I'm retired now and couldn't be happier,
Man I’m truly sorry about that. I believe fleet mangers get a bonus on f-ing people over. Hope the best for and your family. Keep pushing on, the Lord will keep you in peace for the future.
Also it starts with recruiting. They are horribleeee. They try sabotaging u and deterring you from the job before u even start. Not just Werner but swift as well. I feel like they favor men over women. So they try their best not to hire u. Maybe this is just my experience.
Hey Ash, it does start with recruiters and they do seem like they are reading from a list of things to say to new drivers. I not sure how companies feel about women drivers but I do see quite a few out there that has started maybe you just have to find that perfect fit for you. Don’t give up on what you need also, don’t give into something you don’t as well. Hope the best for you, you will find what you need I’m sure.
Not one hundred percent sure about that. But you can ask a recruiter or the DMV that and they should be able to shed more light on this better than I can. Sorry I dont have the answer for you Montana, hope everything works out for you and you are able to get that CDL.
Hi, I love the video and nice work. I'll be going to orientation soon with werner but I want to ask a company policy question. Can you record videos while you're driving and have a go pro on your head? Reason I ask is because a youtuber got fired from schneider due to company policy saying drivers can't record and talk while operating the tractor. Thank you
The policy book doesn’t speak on video content in depth. You want to pay full attention to your surroundings while operating the truck. Meaning if you have cameras set up throughout your truck and you are just talking without touching or looking at your camera while driving you should be not sure but good, you are just recording what you are doing But a gopro on your head while you drive is something different, you would have to ask safety department in Werner about that. Thanks for checking out the video and the kind words.
@@MisterSeriouz what's the deference with having a headset on your head and a gopro? If anything a headset is more distracting because you're having a conversation with someone versus a conversation with a gopro
@@truckerguychad Good question, I agree with you! Headset is a distraction just like the go pro. I really dont know how this thing works when it comes down to a distracted driver we can do what we want unless we cant right? Anyway as long as Im not looking at the go pro or moving it with my hand I should, we should be ok right? Thanks for the comment.
Congrats on the start date. It depends on where you are located and what they have available. It also depends on if you like touch freight or non touch freight. What ever works for you, fyi most of the good account are full like. Target, Best buy, Home Depo, and many more. You have to be lucky or know what to say when you become an asset to the company.
Great video bro, I'm thinking about joining y'all. I have 18 months of driving experience and looking for something dedicated that gets me home some weekends.
Thanks for the kind words. Hope whatever you end up doing works out for you. They most likely will have something like that for you, you just have to make sure you enforce what you want. Be safe and thanks for checking out the content.
Hey James. You will have to get in touch with a recruiter to get the info you need they will help you out better than I can. Hope you get the answer you are looking for.
Its a moxee hot spot that came with becoming a leader with werner. I don’t know much about them but when I have time to play I can, and I play warzone. Hope this helps.
Hey brother I have a couple questions I just started with Warner a week ago I'm doing a Dollar Tree account What would be the best way to go no touch freight home home like every 2 to 3 weeks
Good question Brandon. Depending on where you are located they have multiple accounts that can get you home like you’re looking for. Its mostly for just 34 hours usually not on weekends though. But look on the werner app under driving opportunities and find the job description of that account that will help better than I can. Call driver placement and let them know that you want to switch and they will guide you to a account that fits you best just speak up for yourself and they will listen to you. Hopefully that helped you but let me know if I can help further somehow. Thanks for the comment Brandon
Hi Brandon, im a Werner driver. Best way to go no touch freight is to simply get out of the DG account. Plain and simple. Switch accounts, most of them have 2-3 week’s minimum on being out. Now I don’t recommend too much otr as of lately fright has been slow you’d be waiting a lot at docks, waiting for a new load to be assigned, a lot of splits. Etc. I recommend you get on a dedicated account that is NOT dollar general that will keep you moving says. As they say in trucking, if your truck wheels ain’t moving, you ain’t making money. Good luck driver.
@@nc.deer.hunter yes, -when you want to go home (hometime) -what states you want to run in. -How many miles you would like to run in a week. Things like that is what I wish I had in mind when I started driving. I had to learn the hard way of what I wanted but I didn’t know what I wanted starting out. You will be happy if you know what will make you happy, thats all I was saying.
Yeah I left werner enterprise got tired of making the owner a millionaire. They treat new drivers like trash I had orientation within 10 people 5 of us left because they couldn’t find us trainers for the actual account we were going to be on. Road master cost too much 8k for a cdl that’s insane I paid $3700 for my CDL and that was at a community college
Yeah Werner uses the fact that we are new and pays 49 cent a mile for OTR. Once you get your experience though you can move on to better paying jobs. When I went to the community college my CDL was free. Even if I had to pay it would have been only $700 that school was a blessing for me. Hope all is well and you are being safe out here.
Thank you for your honest down to earth view. I appreciate you 🙏✨️
Thank you and you are welcome

Thanks for the comment, and you are very much welcome. You have to do what you have to do Franklin. Like I said its a decent company, do your research and find out whats best for you mental state of mind plus what works best for your home time.
I like what the wise man said! ❤
Thanks for the comment yu4uk6wy8v. Hope you stay tuned for the future ones. Things has been interesting looking forward to creating this new video.
Be safe

Thanks tmunson

Lol ok Ricky you are welcome.
Thank you for your input on Weiner Trucking Co.
No problem Dakota. Thank you for your comment and checking out the video.
Thank you all subscribed. I appreciate the honesty and well worded review.
Thank you Ms Barker.
Quick question, where would you park your truck if you live away from a terminal when you go home? I am trying to work for Werner for my first trucking job. Kind Regards
A place that allows truck overnight parking. If you’re not sure about the parking lot ask a manager if it would be ok. Hope this helps
Thanks boss

Bloopers! 😂 good bless bro!
alonemote! You are the first person that really appreciated my bloopers! Thank you! I find those the best part of my videos thus far.🥹 Sorry about the volume of those couldnt get them as loud as I needed to.
Thank you I truly appreciate your review and honesty.
No problem Charayah.
This def helped w me looking for a truck company
Glad to have helped you and thanks for the feedback Shay.
I appreciate the video bro. I just graduated cdl school. I’m still looking to figure which companies are the best for for me.
Hey bro you be safe and be smart about your choice fam.
Do they let you drop a trailer with a kingpin lock and bobtail places like the gym?
They have gotten rid of PC so if you have the time its up to you.
Does Werner hire people that already have a Class A CDL ?
Do they still require you to go through the training program?
Yes. You have to have 30 days experience now though
Does this company offer paid Cdl training to help get my CDL?
Yes and you will owe them money if you dont stay with them for the contract amount of time Calvin. Find a community collage near you and see if they have a cdl training course that you can attend for a cheaper price.
Working on my cdl and thinking about working for Werner. But worried about home time
Tim thanks for the comment. You have to have 30 days experience now to get into Werner or graduate from a school that they approve of. Hometime is a must for a peace of mind. Depending on where you are from hometime maybe on your side from Werner you just have to see what they offer you when you call and talk with them. Best of luck to you.
Just saw them in my school I'm going on my third week so I need honest opinions because it's pretty soon I'll have to choose a company
Hope you have picked the best company for yourself. Be great no matter what.
Was just told by my instructors you went to Beaufort(currently enrolled) I plan on getting on with Werner once I finish school .
I saw they had a pods fleet account or something like for my area but imma definitely do more research
wow incredible words mate, i hope to see you on the road man. your legit, appreciate everything
Hey Nick, thanks man hope to see you out there. I thank you for checking out the video and leaving a comment Nick. I do this for people like you!
I'm trying to decide if I want to come to Werner
Ok wayne. Why do you want to go to werner?
😂 love the bloopers at the end too
Yeah that was fun to edit
Great Job !!🎉
Thank you. Glad you like the Video.
can i get a cdl licence and drive for werner with work authorization.. if yes does werner help fund training?
Damar. Sorry to be short but a recruiter will be able to help you with all your questions.
thanks for your video brother
@@mariogh1541 youre welcome. Keep pushing.
Like ur input
Thanks Darryltuff
Also it starts with recruiting. They are horribleeee. They try sabotaging u and deterring you from the job before u even start. Not just Werner but swift as well. I feel like they favor men over women. So they try their best not to hire u. Maybe this is just my experience.
Hey Ash, it does start with recruiters and they do seem like they are reading from a list of things to say to new drivers. I not sure how companies feel about women drivers but I do see quite a few out there that has started maybe you just have to find that perfect fit for you. Don’t give up on what you need also, don’t give into something you don’t as well. Hope the best for you, you will find what you need I’m sure.
if my license was suspended before over a traffic I forgot to pay, will i still be able to get my CDLs and a job?
Not one hundred percent sure about that. But you can ask a recruiter or the DMV that and they should be able to shed more light on this better than I can. Sorry I dont have the answer for you Montana, hope everything works out for you and you are able to get that CDL.
Your awesome! Great informative and motivational video!
Tracy thanks so much. we need a hand or two Out here

Yo man love the vids. Ima start the leaders corse soon, what should expect?
You have to have patience with these new drivers. Thanks for checking out the videos my people.
I'm starting Werner November 10. What's the best account to work under?
Congrats on the start date. It depends on where you are located and what they have available. It also depends on if you like touch freight or non touch freight. What ever works for you, fyi most of the good account are full like. Target, Best buy, Home Depo, and many more. You have to be lucky or know what to say when you become an asset to the company.
@MisterSeriouz Well, I'll be driving team. Also, the run down doesn't say anything about No Touch Freight, so I'm assuming it's touch freight.
Yo cuh...werner have driver facing cameras? You think they are better than swift?
No they do not have driver facing cameras as of 2/22/24, I haven't worked at Swift to be able to say so.
Be safe and thanks for checking out the content.

what are the requirements? and how does the recruitment process work?

Do you play in your truck ? Ps4 or ps5 if so what hotspot do you have that’s good

Thanks boss lady.
Ty for your insight 😊 I will be joining you soon
You’re welcome family! Make it happen boss, sure Werner will be happy to have you.
Which location are located at at Werner enterprise brother.
Lithia Springs GA terminal.
First thing appreciate the video. I'm looking at joining Werner in August.
Thanks! Whatever you choose to do make sure you have mental check list. Hope it all work in your favor.
By mental checklist is there a certain one comes to mind?
@@nc.deer.hunter yes,
-when you want to go home (hometime)
-what states you want to run in.
-How many miles you would like to run in a week.
Things like that is what I wish I had in mind when I started driving. I had to learn the hard way of what I wanted but I didn’t know what I wanted starting out. You will be happy if you know what will make you happy, thats all I was saying.
Ok gotcha. Yeah I know all the answers to those questions lol. I already asked my recruiter all those questions.
Wow. I heard that , get that checked out.
Thanks for the comment. But when you say get that checked out what are you talking about?

Does werner employment opportunities in Virginia?
You have to talk with a recruiter to get more details on that. Don’t want to lead you in the wrong direction, but I’m sure they do fam.
@@MisterSeriouz I definitely appreciate 💪🏾
Are you still at Werner?!?
Naw I left Werner. I working releasing a video on what happened that cause me to leave.
@@MisterSeriouz I actually went to a local company making more money then what werner was going to pay me.
