10 years ago, a trip to Baguio was a whopping *7-9 hours* from Manila! This 3 hours is a massive improvement tbh that I can’t wait to visit this city again!
But those 7-9 hrs of travel time is what makes the trip memorable too. At least it did for our family. Every summer back then my parents and their kins would do a massive prep for our trip and on the way there we would do a small stops on farms, side road vendors, and small eateries. The kambing dishes of the north is always 👌

I admit, I love watching videos like this one taking place across the globe, but somehow the one taking place in my home country feels… heartwarming? It’s like I’m confident that I’m able to experience these myself because they’re not far and I love that. Kasama na ‘to sa bucket list ko, that’s for sure! Nakakapagod din minsang magdrive papuntang Baguio on your own, and you barely get to experience the sights along the way.
Thank you for admitting. This is a very big thing. It will have a very huge impact to humanity. The fact that you have admitted it, is a very life changing and inspiring milestone to all of humanity.
Went to Baguio a few months ago (2023) through Joybus and it's really a game changer. Super comfortable and quiet since way less passengers. It's great for seniors since there's a restroom already inside. Driver drives very safe and hindi kaskasero. Only downside is the tablet is not that useful but it's okay since I prefer to listen to music while looking at the scenery.
I missed the good old days back in cubao, we were going to a trip to meet our relatives who speaks ilocano while we were bisaya, my grandfather was ilocano and bisaya because he learn the language
It feels nostalgic watching this. I miss going home to province through riding a bus in cubao with my family. How I wish to go back in province but I can't because of school 😖

Truly amazing and comfortable bus I've experienced last 2019 from Cubao till Baguio . very convenient with comfort room as well.:) To all the drivers always drive carefully and have a blessed one. Thanks for the tour.
I have traveled there from Manila to Baguio it was an a very enjoyable trip, the air-conditioning was set to a comfortable temperature, where other overnight bus companies set there air-conditioning to very cold. Nice video I enjoyed your graphics,
I have already tried this Joyride bus Genesis with our brother from 🇸🇦 he told that it was an outstanding service from Genesis operator. So our trip was on November 10 2022 1:30pm Joyride Deluxe Premium which consists 28seats only which is 870pesos ticket fare to Baguio from Pasay Terminal. It's an amazing experience in this bus ride. Keep it up @Tour From Home TV 👍👍👍 From Montalban Rizal away from Manila City
@Karell mahalin Good afternoon po Sa tapat ng McDonald Taft Avenue Rotunda MRT Mismo baba tapos papasok ka sa loob ng terminal Makikita ng Genesis bus operator siympre may walk in din at online booking sila
I so love this video! My fiancé and I are going to take this trip when I get to Manila in September, so I can get a chance to see Baguio which is a city that we are thinking of moving to in the future.
Genesis seems to be the most consistent company with nicer buses. I had an absolute nightmare of an experience waiting 8 hours past the scheduled time for a Philtranco bus. DLBT seems to be in the middle of these two.
First time to ride joybus from Baguio at 1am last Saturday.Slept all the way from Marcos highway..then just glanced outside from time to time from tplex to the toll In manila. thought I wasn't able to sleep..time was before 4 am and that's when they played music to wake everyone before we got the terminal in Cubao.what a comfy ride!.
Solid North is a sister company of five star bus. Very nice vlog God bless U
Nakasabay pala namin kayo sa Joybus papuntang Baguio! Kayo pala yun I saw you holding the camera! hehe Nice documentary of the trip. We've slept the whole trip as the ride was super comfortable. Good that you have documented and now we know where we passed. hehe Keep it up and God bless!
Hehe! 😴 Thank you for watching, Tim! God bless! 😃
my last bus ride going to baguio was by victory liner.. I usually reading novels or sleeping so it doesn't matter to me what kind of bus I ride it to as long it was airconditioned. By the way my only tip was, never seat at the back. if you do, you feel like a roller coaster ride for over 6 hours

I always ride Joybus going to Baguio because it's very convenient. Travel time basically depends on your departure. It's true that it will only take around 3 hours from Baguio to Mla if you will depart at 2am.
@@melodiasarangay603 applicable lang xa sa madaling araw na byahe at the same time Joybus wala pong stop over at puro expressway ang dadaanan. D gaya ng mga ordinary aircon bus na tumitigil sa mga terminal nila sa Dau then stop over sa Tarlac, stop over ulit ng Sison Pangasinan at last Marcos Highway kaya inaabot ng 5-6hours ang byahe.
Nice to see we have these units nowadays...it was 1999 wen i first ride with this type of bus...in Taiwan🙄🤔🤗🤓..hope to experience this, too, going to baguio city!
The toilet bowl is spotless 👌. The most important thing about comfy. Just wish passengers keep it clean after using for the courtesy of the next one.....
How do you do that spraying water up your butt and all over the cr ? lol that's something I need to practice before going there 💩 it's my only worry going to the Philippines 😩
Ito ung masarap bumyahe pag comportable yong masasakyan mo tulad nito thank you for sharing this video atleast may idea na ako if how much ung fare now♥️
i rode this last november 2016. before the pandemic, the bus attendant (girl) gives biscuit and bottled water before the trip (2:30 am afaik 😄), she lents every passenger on board with blankets and a throw pillow (rectangular 😁) in case the passenger want to sleep while on the trip 😆. request po sir na sana makasakay po kayo sa victory liner na first class. thank you po 😊
These kind of buses were in Mindanao for more than 15 yearsnow. I always miss the comfortable buses in the region whenever I go to the capital. Glad it's also in the north nowadays.
You had a comfty ride not because the seats are high, it's because the bus is relatively new with a large wheelbase and you traversed a nice highway. The seats are high because there is a large cargo hold underneath the bus.
A very informative channel about commuting, it is timely because of what we all had experience during lockdowns. Many people in Manila are very excited specially those who do not own automobiles to go back or to have a vacation to their provinces.
I must try this Joybus next time. So far my best bus ride was from Chiangmai to Bangkok and it was awesome. There were snacks and drinks in between. They also serve, soda, coffee or juice with hot towel every few hours. The meal was also good. I wish I could ride the joybus. Genesis buses are really nice and clean.
May babaeng konduktora n pala
I enjoy the trip, because that's how I do it. Early morning, no traffic plus It's in Cubao so close to North Express Way. If you take the one in Pasay, it takes you longer just to get out.
Filipino people is the best in the world, that's why I married the best one of your beautiful and lovely women. Even if we always rent a car when we come back in the Philippines, next time I would like to try this kind of trip. God always bless the Pihilippines to allow us foreigners to discover how wonderful are both the People and the Country. Can't wait to retire to come and live there definitely.

salamat po for taking us on your road trip ☺️ . its been several years since I traveled to baguio for FilAm Golf Tournament.
WOWWW, naca NAMAN hi-tech na at may lavatory, parang PAL airline; tinalo nila ang Philippine Rabbit, JAC Liner at ang Victory liner noh? AMAZIIING!!!!
Hmmmm mukhang maganda ah masubukan nga pag-uwi ko ng Pinas next month diyan na lang ako magpapahatid sa kapatid ko diyan ako sasakay pauwi ng Baguio its been 14 yrs na di ako nakasakay na ng bus galing Manila pauwi ng Baguio nung time na nag-aapply ako noon for abroad pag galing kami ng Baguio noon that was 2001 ying Victory Liner pa ang uso noon na Aircon lang o yong Partas yan ang madalas kung sakyan noon.
Truly amazing and comfortable bus I've experienced last 2019 from Cubao till Baguio . very convenient with comfort room as well.:) To all the drivers always drive carefully and have a blessed one. Thanks for the tour.
Kaloka...nakaka-miss mag baguio...my father's side is from pozzurubio pangasinan...last visit ko ng BAGUIO is 2019 pa.... godbless everyone ❤️
Fantastic video! Thanks for making it and all the helpful subtitled information!
Yes this is exactly the video I needed. Love to see th main transport hubs for each city.
Galing!
I have traveled there from Manila to Baguio it was an a very enjoyable trip, the air-conditioning was set to a comfortable temperature, where other overnight bus companies set there air-conditioning to very cold. Nice video I enjoyed your graphics,
VICTORY LINER sets AC to FREEZING at night. You have to wear thick coats for the ride…
Keep it up @Tour From Home TV 👍👍👍
From Montalban Rizal away from Manila City
Thanks for sharing, Walk with Abdul! Yes, they have a very good service! 😃
ask ko lang po saan po sa pasay ang terminal?and pwede po ba walk in???from Biñan Laguna po kase kami salamat po
@Karell mahalin Good afternoon po Sa tapat ng McDonald Taft Avenue Rotunda MRT Mismo baba tapos papasok ka sa loob ng terminal Makikita ng Genesis bus operator siympre may walk in din at online booking sila
Thank for this video. I love it. I will take joybus next when i go to Baguio
Nice...i'm sure i'm going to completely enjoy to ride and travel to this beautiful and very comfortable bus. Happy trip to everyone!..
I miss Baguio.
Thank you so much for uploading this very informative because we are going to travel in Baguio.
It was my pleasure, Pia 25! Thank you for watching.
Nakasakay na ako dyan sa joybus bagyo to Pasay, inabot lng kami ng 3 hours kc non stop sya point to point. May free sandwich and mineral water pa.
Back in the days, Philtranco used to be one of the best bus company. Until they stopped stepping up their game
@@CaliPane because philtranco has new mgt, anyway.
Yes, it was really comfortable! The trip really just wants you to sleep all throughout. 😴 Glad you had a great experience, amelia! 😃
What a pleasant trip! Imma try this one out just to go to SM Baguio.
Joy bus to Baguio is really good, have ridden this several times already

Solid North is a sister company of five star bus. Very nice vlog God bless U
...the best travel bus locally!...safe, clean, fun with very accommodating personnel
And the weather! Delicious food like chopseuy
Hehe! 😴
Thank you for watching, Tim! God bless! 😃
Yes sir! 😃
my last bus ride going to baguio was by victory liner.. I usually reading novels or sleeping so it doesn't matter to me what kind of bus I ride it to as long it was airconditioned. By the way my only tip was, never seat at the back. if you do, you feel like a roller coaster ride for over 6 hours
Agree
I and my friend experienced sitting at the back because we had no choice it's getting dark.We were both awake till the bus arrived in Benguet.
WoW napakagandang GENESIS BUS naman yan.!😊👍
Parang ns eroplano kn din nakasakay.!
Mas maluwag pa kamo sa eroplano ang walkway at upuan 👍🏼
I love Baguio beautiful city with nice nature and sites and places and weather. Real Paradise!
👍❤️
Baguio suffers from air pollution and is one of the cities with the dirtiest air in the country according to a 2014 WHO report.[53] A slight improvement in the city's air quality was cited in 2017 by the DENR's Environmental Management Bureau. In a 2018 WHO report, the city was again listed among 8 other cities alongside Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Manila, San Carlos, Urdaneta and Zamboanga.[54] Eco-vehicles and Euro 4 compliant vehicles have been tested whether or not they are suited for the city's steep slopes in line with efforts to modernize its Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs).[55] Public Utility Vehicles, specifically jeepneys have been pushed for its modernization, in line with President Duterte's PUV modernization initiative.[56]
Another problem that plagues the city is its garbage and waste disposal.

😂😂😂😂
I always ride Joybus going to Baguio because it's very convenient. Travel time basically depends on your departure. It's true that it will only take around 3 hours from Baguio to Mla if you will depart at 2am.
Subrang bilis kung 3 hours cubao to baguio nkkatakot nman parang lumilipad na Yan. di Pede senior dyan 😕
@@melodiasarangay603 applicable lang xa sa madaling araw na byahe at the same time Joybus wala pong stop over at puro expressway ang dadaanan. D gaya ng mga ordinary aircon bus na tumitigil sa mga terminal nila sa Dau then stop over sa Tarlac, stop over ulit ng Sison Pangasinan at last Marcos Highway kaya inaabot ng 5-6hours ang byahe.
E WIFI connection nila, ok ba??

Nice to see we have these units nowadays...it was 1999 wen i first ride with this type of bus...in Taiwan🙄🤔🤗🤓..hope to experience this, too, going to baguio city!
Thank you so much for watching til the end, Wencel! 😃
I like the video, thanks to the guy who produced the video, very informative
Thank you so much for the comment, Sarah! Much appreciated.
Thank You so much. I felt i was with U in the Rid. 🥰🥰🥰

Wow! Sana magkaroon din sila cubao to tabuk
tried this when my brother and I go to baguio..it was really comfortable and the travel time is really short..
Wow looks very comfortable. Extra wide seats with 2 and 1 arrangement better than a transpacific airline
Mala-japanese chill vlog lang ah. Nice.
Solid North Bus 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼🤘🏽 Baguio City
Nice bus even though it has to travel into the Solid(Waste)North. No more dynasties!
Thanks for sharing!
I like your vlog because of complete information.
God bless 🙏
Wow that was comfortable and fast!!!!! Hope I can go to Baguio soon too!!! 💖🥺

A cozy P2P(point to point) ride. Very nice.
A very informative channel about commuting, it is timely because of what we all had experience during lockdowns. Many people in Manila are very excited specially those who do not own automobiles to go back or to have a vacation to their provinces.
Thank you so much for the comment, DearHands. Much appreciated 😃🚌
That’s amazing bus well done Genesis thank you ❤️
Ive been in baguio for so many times, but it always feels like my first time when i get there,,,.. ☺️
Comfortable First Class Bus 👍🏽👍🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
satisfying to watch
Seems very comfy, will try this on our next trip to Baguio.
Wow I’d like to try that next time I visit the Philippines
I must try this Joybus next time. So far my best bus ride was from Chiangmai to Bangkok and it was awesome. There were snacks and drinks in between. They also serve, soda, coffee or juice with hot towel every few hours. The meal was also good. I wish I could ride the joybus. Genesis buses are really nice and clean.
May babaeng konduktora n pala
Around 2018 po ata na launch. But since nag pandemic ng 2 years, hindi masyado na promote. 😃
I enjoy the trip, because that's how I do it. Early morning, no traffic plus It's in Cubao so close to North Express Way. If you take the one in Pasay, it takes you longer just to get out.
Dream ko talaga ito. 🥰
Ive heard not one word but i finished the whole video lol. So relaxing i feel like im sitting in the bus too ahaha
Hehe! Thank you for watching, Trollnix! 😃🚌
At last may ganyan na rin sa Pinas,sa Japan noon pa may ganyan kase
Sana lumilipad din ang bus like airliner. Jusko ang ganda mala first class cabin
Kulang na lang bus attendant .
May bus attendant po 19:05 😃
Great ride and video production of you I enjoyed it.Thank you..! 👍🖐✔
Thank you for the comment, TUNNEL VISION! It was my pleasure 😃
@@TourFromHomeTV Your welcome Sir..!
Thanks for showing us the driver...
