Just got a travel trailer that has a quick disconnect propane available.... can I run a hose from there straight to the generator ? What does that power supply do that needs to be plugged in with the LPG hose?

Firman, I just bought the WHO3242 it runs flawlessly on gas but on propane it runs anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes. The regulator starves the unit for propane, you will hear a snap right before its going to die and it will idle back up, sometimes it will keep power sometimes it doesn't, or it might die altogether. What is wrong?
did you install the ng quick connect on the wrong end? i thought the female end goes on the supply side. the direction of the flow
Thanks for this nice and informative video. How can I connect my dual fuel inverter generator to my house natural gas line.
On the Firman web site it says the 1810 kit (with the Y adaptor as described at minute 12 of the video here) won't work with WH series dual fuel generators. But in this video you say it works (and the smaller generator in the video is a WH series). Will it work?

Question.....if I’m gonna wire this to an inlet that’s wired to a reliance transfer switch do I leave the generator at a bonded neutral? Or do I change it to a floating neutral?
We reccomend reaching out to a local electrician in regards to this as we do not reccomend altering the unit from factory settings as this would void your warranty.
Question: Just purchased a Lance 850 with dual 20 lb propane tanks. Can I run the new 3200ie that I bought, through the camper unit regulator at the tanks and exterior propane outlet with low pressure propane extension hose.

🇺🇸 just bought the 4000w inverter DF. Ran for first time on propane with electric start for 10min. No issues starting. But, after shutoff a little smoke was coming out. Is this normal? 15hrs on echo or normal on propane?

is it safe to bypass(not use) the safety valve on the WH03242 if i choose to connect it to my RV's on board propane tanks through a quick connect hose ?
Hi Marlon. I submitted your question to tech support and will share the reply below from them.
" Unfortunately, we can’t recommend much but something like
“FIRMAN only recommends using the supplied regulator hose assembly alongside a 20 lb propane tank. If you would like to use anything else, you will need to consult with a licensed plumber.”
Currently using 10-30 oil in my Firman..can I switch to fill synthetic without I'll effect?..we get brutal winter temperatures as well as very hot summers.
Hi Benevolent Yes you can use 5w30 full synthetic.
That propitiatory regulator hose with the wire is a deal breaker on the small gen.... At the Hooters. Keep it classy
That actually has me thinking about taking mine back. I bought it for emergencies. If I can't start it without a 12v power supply I lose confidence in its ability to work during an emergency. Debating buying a different regulator or just returning it.
I have that stupid regulator. Shuts off on propane because of it. Annoying as hell when your charging batteries. You can't just restart... you have to blow the surface charge off the batteries or the charger thinks they're full. Sucks
