Tbf this is how minecraft started as well, there was a free version of minecraft a long time ago that was single and multiplayer on their website and it was only creative with limited materials
I can highly recommend this game, its almost like RTX minecraft with all the shading and runs great on a Quest 3. There are even diagonal block available, so you have much building options compared to regular minecraft. Not to to mention the mixed reality which turns your world into the Microsoft holo lens demo, if anyone can remember.
Just bought this game and can't wait to check it out after work tomorrow. Funny though this small studio did what Microsoft gave up on with Minecraft and Halolens.
Currently there is local LAN multiplayer, so if you have 2 or more headsets in your house, you can all play together. Don't think it will be too long before fully online multiplayer will be available. A beta version of Discovery 1 also had online multiplayer by the way.
Bought the game on the strength of this video :) Absolutely love it, so peaceful and calming. I can't figure out if there's a way to bulk select and build / delete blocks, has anyone figured it out?

This is identical to Minecraft Creative mode! Only difference I've noticed is:
- There's no tools, or animals. That's crazy!
Yeah, but by adding those details, it would have been a complete copy of Minecraft 😅

Checked the Quest store review page. The Dev said they'll add online multiplayer in February!

Good question, you'd have to ask the dev about that.
Why can't the quest 3 run minecraft normally? Do you need a PC to run it?
Microsoft never bothered to create a 6DOF version of Minecraft on the Oculus GO for the Quest VR headsets.
