Had the pleasure of seeing this boss dj in Carlisle a few years ago. Loved the warm up lady day also from Liverpool my home city but unfortunately the clubbers of Carlisle didn't turn up for this man! Big let down in my opinion but he played out anyway. Loved that night went back to the after party also at a local club bar

Loved it dave, I'd done a 12hr shift that day. Went to the old fire station promised my wife I wouldn't stay out late! Haha invited to the after do around open mind bar, then had a day to myself as my wife wasn't talking to me! I'm. A fifty year old who's loved this music since day one, all genres. My begginings were strettsounds electros from back in the day. Hence my name! Just a shame the dunces of Carlisle didn't know about your hard work as a dj, magazine honcho club night s etc. Respect to you dave. Are you ever going to be near Carlisle again?

It absolutely was friend. Idk your age group but when the scene moved from "underground" to more night club in ATL around '00 were some of the best yrs. The Liquid Groove/Liquified events at the old Eleven50 were amazing. I specifically remember Dave playing there and dropping the Baguio track like it was yesterday. Sounded amazing in that old opera house. If you never made it to Charlotte you missed out tho,3rd Eye threw events at an intimate place called Tonic that was unreal. Great vibe that felt like a house party except the best DJs in the world came through
