What if you can't get those line buttons to light up? I have several of these phones that just go through the light-up process and stop at speaker phone. That light just stays on....
I have a 7965g that I want to connecto to an asterisk server. I also have a tftp server and my router give its IP to the phone and on the root of the tftp I have the uncrompressed file from this firmware cmterm-7945_7965-sip.9-4-2-1.cop.sgn. So the phone boot find the tftp load the firmware and stay there with unprovisioned on the screen. How do I go on to provision the phone. ? I have on my computer the cisco configuration assistant and I can connect to the phone but it is asking for a admin user and password. And I can't find the credentials. Anyone can help.
That file "cmterm-7945_7965-sip.9-4-2-1.cop.sgn" isn't a firmware file. You must download this file "cmterm-7945_7965-sip.9-4-2-1SR3-1.zip" and put uncompressed to your tftp server folder. Download from here software.cisco.com/download/home/281346594/type/282074288/release/9.4(2)SR3
@@Lukasz.FXL. that file is a compressed firmware and you can uncompress it with 7zip on windows or untar/ungzip on linux and they contain exactly the same files as the zip

I'm using tftp on Linux when the phone goes up and finds the term65.default file and then it restarts. Could it be the bad ip phone?

That usually indicates that the IC chip on the board needs replacement. I work for a company that can replace them for you.
Hi, what if it is stuck at 0:50? I did the steps and the phone stayed at that screen for hours Sometimes restarting every few seconds or minutes.

What is the current firmware on your Cisco Server? (CUCM, etc)
