Saw it twice already, and yes it is a lot of fun, and the twists are great, even though the last twist is very obvious as they keep giving you clues a few times through.

When the main Character is in the room with her Mom in London, and we hear a knock on the door, I already knew who it was going to be, in fact when she is talking to her mom on the phone the scene before, I noticed something and was feeling I knew who the person at the door really was someone we had seen before (Yet still fooled, because there was another spoiler, of who he really was). So much fun!

The story reminds me of a movie . With will farrell. Emma Thompson is the writer, and his character starts hearing the narration on his book ( stranger than fiction) dustin Hoffman, was in it as well .and the girl from the dark Knight ( Maggie glyinhall)

This movie was absolutely ridiculous but I really enjoyed it because I found it so fun. Most of the twists did work for me and kept me engaged in the story and the cast was excellent. Not going to be one of my favourites of the year, but I’m glad I saw it. Great review

Sounds a lot like the first Deadpool when it hit theaters, was for me, I knew I was going to enjoy it but was surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it! For many of the same reasons you gave for enjoying Argylle! It is great when a film can do that for you!

Chuck was awesome Michelle! I wished it had a better ending between Chuck and Sarah although ending does show them starting over.

@Force Of Light Entertainment Ohhh wow, this movie sounds right up my alley of entertainment,👍 spy action comedy, lots of fun, not being bored and escapism, turning you mind off. The cast sounds great and Henry is in it😍. I sure want to see it.

So it’s like The Big Hit starring Marky Mark?
I agree with you that Sam Rockwell stole the movie. But I didn't think he and Bryce Dallas Howard had very good chemistry. They did not have the kind of chemistry that Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp had in _The Tourist_ which for some reason I kept think about while watching this film. And to be brutally honest, I sort of felt sorry for Howard. I thought thought she was wearing a fat suit. I was expecting her to have a training montage and slim down a bit before putting on that gold dress for the last 30 minutes of the film. She's not in terrible shape for her age but by putting her in the same dress a Dua Lipa, a professional dancer in prime condition, really made the comparison not favorable to Howard. I don't want to be mean because I have always liked Bryce Dallas Howard as an actor.
I also felt the movie was deceptively marketed. I was expecting Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa to be in more than the first 2 minutes of the film and was rather disappointed that all of their scenes were shown in the trailer. I also was a bit disappointed that most of the action scenes, except the ones at the end following the BIG reveal, were shown in the trailer. I remember looking at my watch at the 30 minute mark and thinking, _We are still watching the trailer._ At the 1 hour mark we were also still watching scenes from the trailer. And at the 1 hour 30 minute mark we got the "big reveal" which was pretty obvious by that point.
The ending too was a bit convoluted. Overall the plot was fun and I enjoy a good twist but they over did it. There were just too many twists at the end to be enjoyable. I felt like the cast from _Monty Python and the Holy Grail_ and wanted to yell, "Get on with it!"
videogames help the economy. crappy games are crappy games.
We walked out. It was awful after the twists near France. Howard and Rockwell had no chemistry. The best parts are the first five minutes in book world. Samuel Jackson's character was so cliche. The cat was unnecessary/lame. The action is really lame: henchmen that don't shoot, no tension/exertion. Should have just been a Cavill/Dua Lipa movie. It could have been like Johnny Bravo -- a corny hero. 1/5!
