  • Intro: Robaire]
    Yeah, ooh, yeah
    [Verse 1: Robaire]
I've never met nobody like you
Had friends and I’ve had buddies, it's true
But they don't turn my tummy the way you do
I’ve never met nobody like you
    Oh, yeah, yeah
    [Chorus: Robaire & Aaron Z]
You're never not on my mind, oh my, oh my
I'm never not by your side, your side, your side
I'm never gon' let you cry, oh, cry, don't cry
I'll never not be your ride or die, alright
    [Verse 2: Aaron Z, Robaire]
Let's call it what it is, it’s a masterpiece
Gotta whole lotta love for them city streets (Glendale)
Tonight, is the place to be, gotta big boom-box and a new CD
Come on, everybody let’s tear it up
If you want mad skills, you can share with us
(Come on) I want everybody to stop and stare
And you know why, it's me, (Robaire)

This was a brutal wakeup call for parents who are too strict or don't make an effort to understand their kids. This is the future you're setting up for yourself and your potential grandkids.

Thank you, you got it! I get tired of seeing people comment things like “this movie teaches kids to disobey and disrespect their parents”, it’s teaching the parents that if they have their teenage kids on a short leash when they ask for a little freedom they WILL disobey and be disrespectful

Just watched the movie yesterday for the first time - I seriously don’t understand the hate at all. It was absolutely amazing.
I don’t know If I loved it even more because I’m 21 and grew up in that era so ended up freaking out over every pop culture reference but definitely because of how relatable that was and how realistic certain scenes were. Awesome.
A lot of people seem to hate that movie because of all the main character/s being so over the top and acting so cringey and being so childish and silly but .. well I hate to break it to some people - that’s exactly what my friends and I were like back when we were 12/13 growing up without the internet and tik tok and instagram, still playing outside or If inside with our Wii or Nintendo DS or (accurately enough) while having a twilight movie marathon 😂😩👌🏻
Man ..I don’t know but to me it anyways feels like most of the people hating on this movie are either just too young or have some serious problems with toxic masculinity lol
the other 20% either don’t like the art style (which always depends on taste so understandable) or hate the fact how Disney is handling all their movie production and publishing situation with just not making and releasing movies for the movie theaters anymore which I gotta say I absolutely agree on, so I gotta admit I didn’t buy myself Disney plus to watch this one or Luca or any of the other films..

You're wrong this movies about letting your children be who they wanna be and let them free from the clutches of their parents coz if you don't then they'll have this trauma inside them and regret that why they didn't do what they should have done all those years back and it really shows and they take out that anger on their children then

    • @ReblazeGaming
      @ReblazeGaming 2 роки тому +1

@@kenshox8205 The moral of the story isn’t disobey your parents but Mei disobeys her parents and doesn’t face any consequences for it that don’t involve her mother. It’s probably because it’s a kid’s movie but it presents a very simplistic view of things where, child good, mother bad. It doesn’t directly teach you this but the movie presents it as “if your parents are strict, ignore what they say and go do what you want anyway” which Mei does multiple times.
She profits off her panda behind her mum’s back, goes to the party and ends up attacking a kid because she got angry, even runs off to the concert too and her actions are never presented as bad, it’s always the mum’s fault somehow. It also doesn’t touch on the fact that a lot of the time kids don’t know what’s best for them and will want to do stupid stuff and will only notice their parents were right once they’re older. Basically it needed more nuance but it’s a movie for like 10 year olds so I guess I can’t expect much.
