Pedro Araujo Yes, of course you can! I've no problems at all with people using these arrangements in videos or whatnot, credit would of course be appreciated :)
So I was browsing for Professor Oak's Lab remixes, I saw this video and I thought "huh, probably just the original OST", but when I clicked and started listening, I got blown away. Amazing arrangement!!
whenever I feel stress, anxiety or any kind of negativity ... listen this flute ... Its so relaxation i cant express this words ... this track is really great
Imagine if Red came back from Alola with Blue and after reuining with his Mother, he would go immedietly to Prof. Oaks Lab, seeing a well aged Oak but still doing his researches and being on a good condition. He would hug the old man he did make proud 10 years ago. Red: ... (thanks Prof. Oak for everything)
I imagine it'll be more like: Red came back from Alola with Blue and while reuniting with his Mother, find a well-aged Prof. Oak in his pineapple hawaiian shirt who just coincidentally happens to be staying over with his mother, with the lab now being run by Oak's Assistant #1.
This by far my favorite piece of music that you orchestrated! You took a track that was just an ~ok sure, I will like hear it maybe once in each of my playthroughs of the games(which I don't replay the particular gen often) and not be wow-ed~ and made it just...pure satisfaction for my ears! :D
Chris Miller I feel this theme is often overlooked by most people, myself included, that is until I started working with the theme. In the opening of this arrangement, I really wanted to capture the excitement and awesomeness of getting your first ever Pokemon :D
I was playing Let’s Go and heard their incredible version of the song and said I had to look at some other orchestral arrangements. This is a real work of art. Bravo, you are incredibly talented! :)
My video with your music is at my channe, my newest video. I won't post the link, so this comment won't go to spam. Your credit is in the video and link for this page in descritpion. Thanks.
Was looking for this comment. I just played fiddle for some dancers in between the set of the Nutcracker. The ending of the chinese dance (or I think of Oak's Lab instead) was my queue to play 3 metis jigging songs w the orchestra!
Hi there! :) I have a little Pokémon themed channel and I'll make some TCG analysis videos. Could I use this remix in the intro of these videos? If you lend me, of course I'll credit you and your channel in the Video Cards and in the video description. I have Prof. Oak as my "mascot" in channel (as it translates directly as Oak's House, which in portuguese is a pun). So it would match perfectly
Short answer is yes and no. I released a new track about a month ago, if you haven't seen it definitely check it out! I also have another track transcribed that I haven't started arranging yet. The problem is just time, I'm in my 4th year of Uni at the moment and between my honours project and work, I'm really busy! One thing I have been considering though is to start uploading some of my own work to the channel in addition to the arrangements. If I were to do this, I would probably also want to rebrand the channel as 'John Ferrie Music' instead of 'Jfaferrie Music', but I don't want to do that without first polling the community. I completely understand that some people may want just the arrangements here and my own stuff in a separate channel!
Well, I first transcribed the track by ear and arranged it in Sibelius (notation software). For actually producing the track, I worked in Cubase using various VST instruments, mainly East West's orchestral libraries.
Eclipsa TheQueenofDarkness1100 I transcribe the music into Sibelius and arrange it there, I then take the midi file from Sibelius and work on it in Cubase :)
I'm doing an animation about prof Oak, can I use your music and credit you?
Pedro Araujo Yes, of course you can! I've no problems at all with people using these arrangements in videos or whatnot, credit would of course be appreciated :)
Jfaferrie Music thanks! Once posted, I will tell you here :)
Your animation is what drew me here!

Blue received charmander from prof oak
Is it ok if I make a extended version of this song if I give full credit to you please?
Eclipsa TheQueenofDarkness1100 Why the heck not! Go for it :D
...!
Its similar to tiny bit of the nutcracker suite by tchaikovsky
It absolutely is! The theme here is really similar to Tchaikovsky's chinese dance

Tchaikovsky's Chinese Dance?
Who else chose charmander at games?
Everyone, I bet.

Can you post a link where we can download this tune as I would love to have this tune on my ringtone
Are you still around today?
Short answer is yes and no. I released a new track about a month ago, if you haven't seen it definitely check it out! I also have another track transcribed that I haven't started arranging yet.

Jfaferrie Music that’s pretty cool, I hope that your projects go well!
So do I, I need good grades! xD
what program do you use?
Well, I first transcribed the track by ear and arranged it in Sibelius (notation software). For actually producing the track, I worked in Cubase using various VST instruments, mainly East West's orchestral libraries.
Jfaferrie Music Thanks. You've earned a sub. Keep up the good work.
