G’day Tim, what a great video 👍🏼. I love finesse fishing with light gear, and look at the beautiful fish that you caught, maybe 10 to 11 pounds? beautiful mate.
If a trout is placed on the ground, aren't they in danger of dying from dirt getting into their gills? Also, do you wet your hands before touching the fish to release them?
Mate, enough. I’m a big believer in wetting hands and not putting on the dry grass. But that’s damp couchy stuff that is going to do nothing to the fish.
@@rolyskirv Trout are covered with slime which protects them from disease, particularly fungal infections, and contact with surfaces (including rough nets) will remove slime. Figures that you wouldn't since you fish ih trout ponds about the size of a swimming pool. I know you are going to block me and that is fine. I accidentally stumbled onto one of your videos. C -
