- We did it! The bike is finished and ready to be sold. It turned out great! Now onto the next one.
We purchased the bike for around $3500 after fees. We spent around $1550 in parts/paint for the bike. Our original budget was 5k so went over by about 50 bucks! On to the next one!

Thank you!
@@BudgetRebuilds what kits are you buying, and where i live in Utah and am a big fan of your work. Just can't find the kits / round up parts, please help lol!!
Great job man brought her back to life
+Ben McDonald we appreciate that!
Looks great. I have an 02 FLHT in vivid black that needs a little cosmetic TLC. You gave me some great ideas. Thanks!
I luv the headlights he went with. He knew what parts to get for that thing. She's lookin' extra clean.
Thank you 😁

Soon as I heard you say y’all like that I knew you had to be from Georgia. I know because I’m from Georgia too. Nice bike.
We’re def from Georgia and say y’all all day long 🤣
Damn...that came out nice!!!!
Thank you!
What wheel did you go with? Was the bearings giving you a problem on install or any with the ride?
I noticed you like using that front wheel on your builds, do you have to change the front spacers around?
Thank you for showing folks like me how easy it is to get a custom bagger. My one question is what do you do about the licence plate light with the stretched overlay?
Hello Budget Rebuilds. The bike looks amazing. You guys put the Harley Davidson decals on the gas tank?. Love your Harley Davidson rebuilds project.Keep up the good work.Greeting from Venezuela!!!!
Yup I needed to see this video. I’m wanting to up grade to a bigger bike. What engine was this????
Very cool!!!
What type of rear fender is this? Havent seen this style in Austria.
Hi I was wondering where you got the front rim from.. looks fantastic!!
Sounds good
Thank you!
Did you remove the rear quick detach points? if so, did you have to for the new rear fender, bags, or license plate eliminator?
Very nice
+Missouri Bootheel Explorer Thank you!!!
Love the channel guys keep up the great work #flippinstoop
Kick Ass Video Thank You!!!!
Thanks for the support! We appreciate it.
Man thats dope, im getting my first bike in the next week or so, really rather do this than finance!
Thank you! Good luck with your bike!
Looking back at your comment now seeing how far you came is amazing Brody!! 👏
Yo this comment is wild lol
Really like this video it has shown me a lot of things I can do myself, what's the year of your bike and where did you get that kick ass seat?
Man that looks sweet! How much did you sell it for?
Love this build..but I can't get links to work for the parts in the build..
I know this is an older video on your channel; however, I'm new to coming across your channel and I watched each episode of this rebuild and think you guys did an awesome job! The bike looks and sounds great! I would still like to know from a comment on another one of the videos, of if you guys by chance know what kind of pipes were on this bike?! They look like Vance and Hines but I'm not sure.
They're VFR knockoff on Ebay. There should be a link under the video for them.
What happen to all the painted covers is that a different motor
Where do you get your rear fender and bags from?
What kits are you buying? And where does a guy buy them?
Hey i know this is a old video but would u happen to have links to all the chrome add ons for a electra glide a 96 i wanna put some new pieces on and concert it to a bagger
Like what your doing for sure! Making budget baggers! Only thing is I'd be heat shrinking all the but splices you use to keep out corrosion. Not smack talking just a suggestion!
Thank you. We appreciate advice and opinions. Thanks for keeping an eye on it. We def heat shrink everything that is needed, we just may or may not show it in the video.
@@BudgetRebuilds are you guys sellling another bike like this for this price?
would the rear fender and bags fit on a 95?
Swweeeet 👊💨
👍🏼
Man you do excellent work. You gonna change out those hideous mirrors? Was it just me or was the left one cracked? Great job!
Great bike builds, a lot of talent! But seriously, got to check your music, it’s driving me f#@king crazy! Cheers.
Cool i wanna get an ultra classic and fix it up like this. Do you guys have budget radio/ sound system recommendations
Not really. Usually we just get them off EBay.
Did you use the original front fender with the 21" front tire?
I was wondering the same thing
Get a proper spacer made for eliminating the heal shifter if your going to do that.
Cool seeing this done, and the process. Did you build this to keep or to flip? Did you include a cost for your time? Can't really see it being very cost effective if you value your time, and ofc that was the price discrepancy most likely right? I have been watching the auctions and wondering about these kinds of things, rarely to the things end up going for less than they are really going to cost to rebuild unless you cut corners and don't value the time going into it.
Especially if you have to resell the thing, then damn, the hit because it is rebuilt title, and just seems like thin profit margin if at all, though the youtube monies and the smiles that comes from the satisfaction and time you have it are kind of priceless, if successful.
Subbed. looking forward to more man!
Thanks for watching our videos! We enjoy working on Harley’s and seeing the before and after. It’s rewarding. There’s def still room to make money on the sale of the bike.
What year is the bike, I have a 94 and it’s been hard tryna get someone to steer me the right way with aftermarket parts!!
Awesome work. I’m looking into getting my first Harley touring bike. (Used to ride street bikes). What are you thoughts on buying from copart and repairing..
Do it! It’s rewarding and a learning experience.
Wouldn't happen to remember what exhaust was on this?
What year was this I have an 85 I can’t find bags or fenders😬
Can you please tell me what handle bars are those I want those for my Electra glide
How do those tail lights hold up under the weather ie; rain, snow, etc?
No complaints with the tail lights
I see you didn't get matching fender overlay and bags ...the cut out for the exhaust pipes was off
off bigtime it looks like shit i do like the concept but needs to order right stuff
Hey bud that’s some awesome projects with those bikes. I appreciate all your videos but I was wondering what type of spray bottle were u using while you were cleaning that bike. I’m in need of that type of soap for my bike I’m liking it a lot. Thank you again for all your videos. Aloha from Oahu Hawaii!!!!!!!
Are you talking about the Bike Brite, maybe?
What year was the bike?
What brand did you run for your headlight and market lights and how do you like them. Just bought an 06 Electra glide Saturday morning.
There should be a link in the bio!
What year harley was that
Hey guys great build bike looks great... My question is how tall is twinkie... I'm 6'2" and looking for a seat that will put me As far back as possible...thanks
Right around the same as you, give or take an inch so you should be good!
amazing job! You inspire me to make a similar project. What front wheel did you use?
Thank you!!! If you look at one of our newest videos the wheel should be linked underneath.
Budget Rebuilds already done. in the description you indicated 21’’ but the link opens 23’’ wheel.
How do we buy this rebuild bikes?
What pipes u have on it
When you buy one of these bikes with salvage title can you get full coverage insurance or only limited liability
Full coverage in the state of Georgia
Hey man what year is this bike 96 or 97+
What size front wheel is that ... in the process of doing this ... thanks
It's a 21". There should be a link for it below the video!
What year is the bike?
Great rebuild with that over lay how do you illuminate the license plate??
They make license plate illuminate brackets. There should be a link under the video, if not let us know and we’ll get it.
Thanks guess I should have looked first
🌙👶🏾🤘🏾
What front wheel is that ? I’ve been trying to find one I like and I think that’s the one !!
It’s in the link under the video!
Well done guys great looking bike if you were in Australia I'd give you $10,000 for it no fuckn worries at all. Cool bike👍
Thank you!
Probably a better idea not to hit the front axle with a hammer. Maybe try a rubber mallet!
Shit I’ve had quotes up around 3-4 just for the paint 😂 in 2022 money 5gs doesn’t get ya much lol
Hey guys, great build, is that a custom seat or a production unit?
We just happened to get lucky and find it on eBay.
@@BudgetRebuilds any idea of brand?
What year is it
Can you tell me name and part number on that seat
where did you get that diamond seat
EBay! Got lucky and ran across it
Why do you not like the heel toe shifter?
Because I'm just used to the toe shifter!
@@BudgetRebuilds Since Ive been riding I like just the toe!
Do u have a parts list I want to make my Electra glide look like that
The parts we use are listed in the description below.
Your missus says Yes like an Aussie?
Okay, one rebuild with only US made parts….one without…compare costs.
Do you sell the bikes you pickup and fix? Im looking for a bagger that is reasonable
We absolutely do!
How can i contact u.im interested in buying a bike
So hot 😍
How i miss this vid???
Where do you find a street glide for $3500? New to the channel!
Insurance auctions! Thanks for watching. We appreciate you!
Wer yall get that seat?
We got it off of Ebay used. It's a RSD seat.
@@BudgetRebuilds thanks
check out mines i built from a wrecked 2010 road glide to what it is now and its for sale to lol
Awesome!
How much for the sled?
We already sold this one!
@@BudgetRebuilds , for how much?? Trying to get a rough estimate of money needed in case you have another one!
What year is it?
2008
Not a single bolt torqued to spec. Cant stand how the bags exhaust cut out doesnt match the one on the fender. Lots of corners cut on the rebuild.
Do you have a better video?
Invest in some good dead blow hammers and rubber mallets.
Change the back wheel that's a no no.
Do you have a site or IG page? I have a 99 looking for some help in parts
We do. Both. Budget Rebuilds
Wearing Shorts? Really? Haha
Wtf r u doing putting front axle in with a claw hammer lol
Please take stickers off the tires that's just being a hack and are all your vidios just bolting on a bunch of stuff?
It’s Budget Rebuilds so it is basically showing you what you can do with a salvage bike and how you can change things on it on a budget to make them look better.
@@BudgetRebuilds Good to see someone flipping bikes at a working man's budget. Everybody that has paid 25-30K at the stealership should be throwing up watching your vids. Keep on keeping on. Wish u the best.
bobberguy1 thank you sir! We appreciate that.
The engine dirt as fuk still
Shotty work. Torque specs? Fender cutout didn't match bags and pipes didn't line up with the fender and came short. wheels and rims didn't match. At least you got a deal on cheap parts and made bank off someone who didn't know better
Thanks for watching! We appreciate it
why did you not wash the bike before you put the new parts on and paint the fender you just cut dont make sense makes you look so unprofessional and like you dont care a dam.
Turned out looking good, didn’t it?!
What size that rim?
