- We're getting the rear lights wired up and started the bike for the first time! We did get a fuel leak, though. But it was an easy fix. Almost done!

Why replace only on side of the controls. One black one chrome. Oh and the cracked mirror. And no solder or heat shrink on the wires...I know its budget, but dang.
Ok I get using as many original parts as you can to stay within a budget but watching you install the hand controls makes me ask the question of what’s wrong with refurbishing some of that stuff to make it look better? Down to the rusted washer you placed back on it. A hand full of stainless steel washers that size are really cheap to purchase. Even knocking the rust off of that one and painting it with a rattle can is better than putting a rusty washer back on it. Even if you are building it to sell it’s the small stuff and attention to detail that can make it worth the price you want to sell it for and someone feels like they are getting a heck of a deal.

Looking good so far, although I would have sodered/heat shrank those wires. I was also wondering why you didn't test fit overlay for clearance before painting?
Def should have done that but it happened to work this time. We usually always do a test fit first!
found it.. thanks man! hey, quick question for you. im leaving my factory turn signals on the bike(05 Electra glide)i added a fender filler and stretched bags and im putting the plasma lights on. will the module light up my factory turn signals as well as the plasma lights ? thank you for any help! much appreciated for your time.

Got a question for ya back rail for your tour pack &tag bracket on 07electra glide won't fit with overlay fender will it ?
You can notch it out to fit but it won't fit as it comes.
