Your video just popped up so I checked it out as I'm a lifetime Wisconsin man, who is also a car collector. Currently have a 72 LTD with 54k original miles, and a 49 Dodge Coronet. Jefferson swap meet was on my list to do, unfortunately got too many other things going on this weekend to make it there
Ooo. Saw a Studie in one of your phone sweeps. I know someone who is restoring one and the hood and nose parts are hard to find without paying a ton or buying chinesium. I'll send this to him.
I just stumbled across this video, and your channel. What i wanna pound out is that the way that yo and your son communicate is really, REALLY great to witness!!! I dearly miss the times when my sons would tag along with me doing things like this. They do it because Dad makes it all worth it!!! On the flip side, you are blessed by your sons presence!!! So good to see......
Thanks for the encouragement! We’re going to a big swap meet this week he’s super pumped about too. We’ll get some footage and you guys can see him in action haggling 😂
I know about the rust being from Pennsylvania. I am now in central Florida and there are tons of old car salvage yards, you have to do some detective work to find them. Down here the bodies are usually good just burnt paint and cooked interiors. Georgia and the Carolinas are pretty good. Closer to you Nebraska and western Kansas . Better are Texas,Arizona, Utah .
I know of some big yards in south GA. Problem is many of them aren't just graveyards, they're parts and scrap businesses. So oldies like what are in this vid are hard to come by. I know one in Valdosta that is GM focused. Big. Still, the land has to make money. Really old and idle cars probably get crushed for scrap dollars.
Excellent on the homeschooling! 😊
Heck yeah! Been doing that since they were Pre K

Have you been to Jefferson before? It’s hard for us to carve out the time. 8hours just in drive time
@resurrectionauto5714 used to go to Jefferson once if not twice a year. I live about 20 minutes from Jefferson in a smaller town of milton
