Proud of how this all turned out - not just the car itself, but the experience of getting to let it reconnect with the same person who bought it new 17 years ago. Glad to have you add a few more miles, and let me know if you ever have a craving for another vintage Honda / Acura vehicle driving experience. I have plenty more where that came from :) Thanks James!
I laughed my cheeks off when Tyson said " It made the 400 mile trip from Utah flawlessly" 😂 I made a 1700 mile trip from NY to Missouri and back to NY (3400 Miles total) in my 05 TSX Flawlessly and shes still burning rubber. The more i see content on the 1st Gen Tsx the more i love these cars. Thank you very much 😁
Ive been searching and searching for one just like this to park next to my 2006 Laguna Blue S2000. They seem to have the same shift knob. Just a great time for Honda.
I’ve owned about 6 1st gen Acura tsx and I currently own a 2nd gen. The build quality in my opinion is much better on the 1st gen. There’s something about opening and closing the doors in the 1st gen that definitely stands out from the 2nd gen tsx. The only complaints about the 1st gen was bad steering pumps if you didn’t take care of it regularly as well as the perforated leather seats that majority of owners succumbed to tears.
I have a 08 tsx with 130k original miles on the engine and trans the only downfall is that its the auto, currently its my daily and runs fantastic it needs a little paint work and some interior work but no mechanical issues other than abs not working, ive kept up with the trans fluid change oil change , changed the belt tensioner sparks plugs ignition coils etc. is this worth restoring and keeping and mabye even manual swapping?
I was lucky to pick up in Canada, a very rare blue TSX 6 speed manual A Spec Edition with only 100k original last year. It’s a touch newer, a 2nd gen, so 2013 model, love it! ❤
Honda makes cars thst last. My mom had a 97 Accord she loved qnd put 240k on until it was stolen in 2015. My 2013 Accord coupe still drives like it did when it was new 11 yrs ago.

definitely worth keeping. Maybe not for a swap unless you want it as a project car. But as a daily it is worth keeping
