I really enjoyed watching you overcome the " ugly" stage of the project. I have that "oh this is not going to work", feeling or anxiety moment in almost every piece if art I do. I realise now that this is just a natural part of the creative process. I think the more we create the more our confidence grows that we will resolve this if we continue the process. Covering those black outlined boxes really improved that side. Funny how easy the first side was but a bit of a struggle for the second. You persevered and showed us ways to improve parts we may not be happy with. I .ove your use of gesso in so many cards and pages you do.😊
You have inspired me this morning. After watching your video, I’m ready to start creating. The pink and green are so pretty together. Thank you for sharing so others can learn and be inspired.
So much fun! It was therapeutic, just watching you work. I am excited to go on my own art therapy session hopefully a little later today. The video was so rich with ideas overcoming the yuckiness (your words not mine 😊)black mark making and scribbling, ripping little segments of a piece of old collage paper versus laying it down in a strip, outlining the areas, stencil or the areas where you used The stencil with some paste. I am so excited to try the techniques. Thank you.
