Let's remember the context of this commencement speech: A devout Catholic speaking at an orthodox, tradition-oriented Catholic college. He wasn't saying that these views should be imposed by force on everyone, though you would think so, judging by their reactions. Frankly we should tell all the non-Catholic naysayers to butt out. It's none of their business what goes on at a Catholic college, unless laws are being broken!

It hard to find work when your widowed and the majority of work experience you have is as a homemaker. Many employers look down on homemakers, and you don't pay into SS. Which means when you retire, you only get survivors benefits. My husband had to go onto SS at an early age because he was terminally ill. So I'm screwed!

This is an extremely important topic for the future of the Church. It is so multifaceted that it would take a 3-4 or more part series. One part mentioned was financial. I am older than Fr. Murr and I have lived to see a movement happening and it is happening because young men and women are recognizing the need to focus on raising healthy children in a stable environment. Covid unwittingly brought about an understanding that work could be done outside of the structure commerce has imposed. The Catholic Land Movement which is made up of primarily of young Traditional Catholic families is gaining momentum and will have great influence on the future of Holy Mother Church. Notice the big T here. These husbands and wives are embracing total deposit of the faith in which they live their daily lives 24/7

The school is good, Sisters suck.
Those so called sisters do not currently teach at the school. They have a small representation on the board as a "honorary " position. They are woke sisters since the 1960s. I hope you can find their current photos and their statement online. It clearly tells you what they are all about.

I’m thankful for my former spiritual advisor - she was a Benedictine nun with a vocation- a true call from God - and I’m so glad, since no one could “buy” or influence her guidance to me.

To me, the heart of this question has to do with the fact that men are not always good, hard-working, family-loving, faithful men. When this happens, women revolt and need jobs, careers, freedom to act in the world, because we get fed up being loyal homemakers while the husbands are being playboys. If her husband is a good, faithful man,what woman would not find happiness in being a wife and mother? All this feminism stuff started with the sexual revolution when men were no longer faithful in their majority. I’ve personally experienced this.
