- Walkthrough for my Prince of Persia 2 The Shadow and the Flame Mod. Current level: Temple 01
This is where the mod's real hardcoreness begins, you may feel it from the change of custom music at some parts (we´ll be switching from PoP3D OST to WW / T2T OST eventually)
There are 2 life potions in this level, I didn't take the first one as my character already has 11 life jars and the 2nd one is easier to get (since it´s right there in the middle section of the level where you must go first after crossing the chasm) but I might change it to a mere health potion in the next patch to create the need for the player to solve the tricky puzzle guarding the 1st life potion :D
ABOUT:
This Mod wasn't made just for challenging all veterans from this amazing classic with a new and more gruesome quest to save the Princess, but as my answer to the PoP2TS&TF remake created by Ubisoft. In which their devs claimed that the original Prince was weak, frail, slow and naive... bitch please.

You're amazing!
i like the use of PoP3D music. IMO PoP3D had the best music of the originals, shame the game was so glitchy though i still enjoy it. I liked the early PoP's use of violence, ubi's games feel way too tame in comparison.
It had such an insane potential, a heavily romanticized, Arabian, dark fantasy story. And yes, the original trilogy was way more merciless xD... I saw a remake of PoP2 where the developers justified some changes claiming the original prince was too weak, when in fact he was just human!
Ah yes, let loose the gory part of PoP2. Not talking about those evil flip-flops everywhere, ready to surprise the Prince. ^_^
Also, why is there an EMO guard? Inteneded or a bug?
Definately. The gore potential of this game wasn't really explored back then, but placing them traps and enemies correctly you get a nice mess on every room.
As for the emo guard xD, it's a hint that these zealots believe in sacrificial rituals :)

Wait, where did that bottom door go?
I get that the top door was probably like pulled up inside the ceiling, but the bottom door's ceiling is thin af.

is it safe
yes, it's a small game folder with the original prince of persia 2 install and a custom prince.dat file (the level mod itself), it can run with dosbox.
how to play this game
Heya, there's a link in the description that leads to the princed forums, there you can download many prince of persia 1 and 2 level mods. What you need is to use it with DosBox emulator.

Well, I've downloaded my copies from there and never had any problem at all as far as I remember. It's the same website where my mods are hosted.
