I hope everyone that support this movie is married to their first love if not no excuse is good enough and also if their are still women like busayo in this century you are alone cus some of us has moved. We love our husband but we love ourselves more.

The ending is a little bit off. It is a natural thing for every woman to be overprotective. Especially when it comes to their husband. Admit her jealousy. Her husband, too, was unfaithful in the relationship, so what do you expect Busayo to do. She can't just fold hand and be looking without any reaction.
I haven't gotten to the end of the movie, however, I was dazed when I realized that Busayo was right about her unfaithful partner. I initially assumed she was overthinking it. Smh. Btw, I'm at the scene where the boy hit his head while getting into the car and his supposedly mom just stood there.

1. Cheating should be condoned if it is your first love???
2. If Feyisayo knew that she didn't need Tobosun, why did she accept him??? All those her explanations at the end were a bunch of unacceptable excuses
3. Also, why would a mother accept her daughter to have a child for a married man, and you still confronted her in matrimonial house again
I just believe that the movie could have ended in different better ways.

I don't support violence but the ending was really off. A man dont give a woman peace of mind and you expect her to be his peace? Of a truth, Busayo was wrong to resort to violence but it doesn't excuse the fact that her husband was in the wrong. Please, if you are still in love with your first love, dont think of settling down with another person. Be matured enough to work out your feelings before you commit. With or without violence, CHEATING in marriage from both genders shouldn't be encouraged. Let's be really careful with the lessons we are passing on to our kids (especially the concept of cheating in men) in our movies. If you dont love your spouse again, and counseling is not working, walk out. CHEATING IS/SHOULD NOT BE THE SOLUTION IN MARRIAGE.

If you don't SUPPORT violence, then why do you not like that Bosun doesn't want to deal with a violent woman anymore?
If you think that a man's cheating shouldn't be accepted, shouldn't you be happy that the marriage ended with a divorce? Because I think a person who doesn't want to deal with a cheating man should be happy divorcing him?
Murder is much worse than cheating.
So, what do you think would have been a better ending to the movie? As we do not know if Busayo would no longer be violent. Share your thoughts
@olawarleyadigun Happy Sunday... Now, you seem to have forgotten that Bosun has been cheating on his wife before she resorted to using violent means to threaten her husband. How many women will hear/sense that her husband is cheating and won't react? I still don't SUPPORT violence, but if I remember correctly, Busayo was a good wife to Bosun. The only time she misbehaved was when she felt her home was being threatened by a strange woman. Remember, there is a REACTION for every ACTION. We have seen women/men who poisoned (REACTION) their spouse when they found out they were cheating (ACTION). Busayo resorted to violence because she thought that was the fastest way she could make him confess, but even at that, he denied it.
A better way it could have ended: Have Bosun apologize to his wife for his cheating act (he wasn't even remorseful at all), keep supporting the child from Feyisayo because according to her, she doesn't need him, have Busayo apologize as well, then seek out couple's therapy/counseling, if all of this doesn't work, then divorce.

Your solution isn't bad. However, you end up making excuses for Busayo's violence despite the fact that you don't support violence. I'll point it to you
"She thought being violent was the fastest way to get Bosun to confess" ≠ valid reason to be violent. Busayo was violent because she's a violent person. No valid reasons for Bosun's cheating either. Simple! If Bosun had confessed, what do you think would have happened to him?
"Which woman would hear or feel that her husband is cheating and not REACT?" NONE. However, there's no valid reason for violent REACTions. If I stabbed a person that slapped me, do you think "there's a reaction to every action" holds here? Busayo could express her displeasure without being a threat to life.
The movie did not show what kind of wife Busayo was before the cheating and she in fact reacted poorly (became violent) before the confirmation of another woman.
The husband had to run away from home when she tried to k!ll him upon CONFIRMATION . That's not a joke!
Whilst there's a reaction to every action, it doesn't mean that every reaction to an action is right.
A person who poisoned another over cheating would be in the wrong, because murder is a crime. Same as domestic violence.
In that case, the only reason Bosun would have still stayed with Busayo was if he felt that it's worth it, but even that is a risky move. But if that's not possible, then divorce is fine for both.

What better ending could this movie have?
If you think that the man's cheating is bad, do you want Busayo to continue with a cheating man? She should be happy she no longer has to deal with a cheating man. Right?
If you think that Bosun's cheating is not bad or that it's forgivable, would you advise that Bosun keeps living with Busayo who could k!ll him anytime?
The movie didn't really show what Busayo looks like in the early years of their marriage, so it's hard to tell if she'd change. However, it's safer to deal with a woman who expresses or cries over her displeasure than one who's violent and looking to destroy you/things when she's feeling bad.
I think Busayo's mum failed her. Poor advices and wasn't empathetic enough about her daughter's problem. She could have saved her marriage
Jumoke killed it as usual. The younger Feyi was also perfect for that role; her looks and the way she talked. 💯
