I actually love this mouse because of how durable it is. I've dropped it, my cats have knocked it over, etc and it's never broken and keeps working perfectly.
i mean if you are still having this problem or even have the mouse, you have to hold onto the dpi button to light it up, i thought i hit mine hard but turns out its fine, could be different.

I bought one of these mice as well, it's a cheap China mouse for sure, and when I hit mouse button 4 my DPI changes randomly. Do not buy.

It has no software, It's a cheap china mouse that's 10 bucks
Too bright? Come on you must be really sensitive. None of the issues you mentioned are significant, at that price I’m not complaining
