Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the shed blood,death, burial,and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.

What If someone has hebrews 10:26 happen. How awful he'll is forever if someone permanently loses the Holy Ghost after being promised eternal life. Nice video. I would now like to read her dialogues. I'm into visions, apparitions and revelations. They help strengthen my faith. I believe that some may be true while others could be hallucinations. The priest wrote Hell means the sin-sick souls will be alone and with yourself, completely cuts off from the love of God, and His generosity. He also indicated: "For your consolation, no one will be without God forever unless he or she wants to be." That means anyone in this life must turn away from God through their own fault. It's a state of being that the sin-sick soul will be experiencing the four sufferings which you described above. One again, thanks for your interesting and inspiring lecture. In your travels have you heard anyone--saints included--talk about what percentage of people who die each day go to hell? I've heard only about 5% of those who die go to Heaven/Purgatory.
Jeffrey Galeski great question. The Church has never given a number and my opinion is that is never will. We will find out soon enough! I think it is prudent to believe that some go to heaven and some go to hell. Percentage wise I would tremble to try and answer. Some saints did have thoughts on this. St Alphonsus even gave names of some he thought were in hell. St Thomas and St Augistine believe the majority of people go to hell. Percentage - I am very comfortable to say so as not to bring a judgment upon myself.

What if instead of being tortured forever, God annihilates the incorigable, the wicked? Psalms 145:20. When will you start believing the God of love and truth? John 4:22-24, Psalms 83:18; Isaiah 42:8
And by the way, what Catholics and other Christians teach about the devil and demons (fallen angels) makes little sense as well. What spiritual being, having been in the presence of God, would not only choose to rebel against God, the source of life and love, their very creator, but willing to existence in a state of suffering and pain that humans can't even begin to comprehend, forever. That is beyond any kind of cosmic insanity.
Let's put this in perspective. God sends people to hell (don't say God does not because if he wanted to, he could prevent any soul from going to hell or from hell even existing) for finite crimes (sins). Human existence on Earth is less than the blink of an eye in the context of eternity yet the God who created you and your soul is willing to let at least some of his creation suffer for all eternity in unimaginable pain. That sounds like an unbelievably vindictive and evil thing to do or allow to happen. Even our human understanding of love and mercy would never allow any human in all history to suffer, forever.

God does not reject anyone. It's we that reject God. When someone choose a live without God in this life, that is what they get for all eternity, a life without God. God honours the choice we make. What would no make sense would be if God forced someone into heaven and union with Himself when a person doesn't want to be with Him. This would not be loving. Why would someone want God for all eternity if they don't want God now? Yes, your are right in saying that God is infinite in love, and love always let the one they love choose to love back. Jesus said if you love love me you will keep my commandments. It's our choice. God already has revealed he wants us to enjoy union with Him for all eternity but he can not force us to love Him. Nor can he force us into heaven which is union with Him.

God knows that a lot of people are gonna screw up so it would be smarter for God to decide for us because only he and a Jesus know what’s best for us. Why does God only touch the souls of so very very few people like Catherine, Therese, Teresa etc? God has been creating the universe for billions and billions of years but we have less than a 100 years to "perfect" ourselves and if we fail we suffer for ALL eternity. @@Catholicspeaker Honestly no. I'm in the midst of Acedia, I never made it out of the dark night of the soul, I learned in that experience that life is not what I want. With god's given free will I freely choose to exercise it in choosing death over life. I do not want to live forever but I do not mind living for 80 or 90 years or less. I'm looking toward Anihilationism. All of my hopes lie there. If god is just he will simply let me blip out of existence when I die naturally. My life is just a test of my patience now, nothing more. I've already blasphemed the holy spirit and I freely choose death over life, real death (annihilation), not hell. Hell itself is not a threat to me, as I said, It cannot possibly get worse for me. Just existing is torture enough. I know Satan far more intimately than I have ever known god, so the denial of his beatific vision is meaningless to me because I neither want it nor have any experience with it. The threat of seeing Satan's real face is also meaningless because I have already seen it - my face is worse, for even Satan himself values his life whereas I do not. The only faith I have is in god's justice in that he will do the correct thing and give me eternal peace from this living hell in which I never chose to exist. Heaven is not an option, it is only another plane of hell for me. Happiness and Joy only add to the hell I'm already in. Hell itself would be the lesser evil for me, perhaps that is the real reason it exists.

What If someone has hebrews 10:26 happen. How awful he'll is forever if someone permanently loses the Holy Ghost after being promised eternal life. The priest wrote Hell means the sin-sick souls will be alone and with yourself, completely cuts off from the love of God, and His generosity. He also indicated: "For your consolation, no one will be without God forever unless he or she wants to be." That means anyone in this life must turn away from God through their own fault. It's a state of being that the sin-sick soul will be experiencing the four sufferings which you described above. One again, thanks for your interesting and inspiring lecture. In your travels have you heard anyone--saints included--talk about what percentage of people who die each day go to hell? I've heard only about 5% of those who die go to Heaven/Purgatory.
Jeffrey Galeski great question. The Church has never given a number and my opinion is that is never will. We will find out soon enough! I think it is prudent to believe that some go to heaven and some go to hell. Percentage wise I would tremble to try and answer. Some saints did have thoughts on this. St Alphonsus even gave names of some he thought were in hell. St Thomas and St Augistine believe the majority of people go to hell. Percentage - I am very comfortable to say so as not to bring a judgment upon myself.

And by the way, what Catholics and other Christians teach about the devil and demons (fallen angels) makes little sense as well. What spiritual being, having been in the presence of God, would not only choose to rebel against God, the source of life and love, their very creator, but willing to existence in a state of suffering and pain that humans can't even begin to comprehend, forever. That is beyond any kind of cosmic insanity.

Let's put this in perspective. God sends people to hell (don't say God does not because if he wanted to, he could prevent any soul from going to hell or from hell even existing) for finite crimes (sins). Human existence on Earth is less than the blink of an eye in the context of eternity yet the God who created you and your soul is willing to let at least some of his creation suffer for all eternity in unimaginable pain. That sounds like an unbelievably vindictive and evil thing to do or allow to happen. Even our human understanding of love and mercy would never allow any human in all history to suffer, forever.
these's suffering are true because Jesus showed it to me...the souls in hell were hurt less because of the physical pain, then because of the pain of their being separated from their Creator...they cry out in anguish because

God does not reject anyone. It's we that reject God. When someone choose a live without God in this life, that is what they get for all eternity, a life without God. God honours the choice we make. What would no make sense would be if God forced someone into heaven and union with Himself when a person doesn't want to be with Him. This would not be loving. Why would someone want God for all eternity if they don't want God now? Yes, your are right in saying that God is infinite in love, and love always let the one they love choose to love back. Jesus said if you love love me you will keep my commandments. It's our choice. God already has revealed he wants us to enjoy union with Him for all eternity but he can not force us to love Him. Nor can he force us into heaven which is union with Him.

God knows that a lot of people are gonna screw up so it would be smarter for God to decide for us because only he and a Jesus know what’s best for us. Why does God only touch the souls of so very very few people like Catherine, Therese, Teresa etc? God has been creating the universe for billions and billions of years but we have less than a 100 years to "perfect" ourselves and if we fail we suffer for ALL eternity. I cannot get my mind around this and the idea of a loving and compassionate God.

@@Catholicspeaker Honestly no. I'm in the midst of Acedia, I never made it out of the dark night of the soul, I learned in that experience that life is not what I want. With god's given free will I freely choose to exercise it in choosing death over life. I do not want to live forever but I do not mind living for 80 or 90 years or less. I'm looking toward Anihilationism. All of my hopes lie there. If god is just he will simply let me blip out of existence when I die naturally. My life is just a test of my patience now, nothing more. I've already blasphemed the holy spirit and I freely choose death over life, real death (annihilation), not hell.
Hell itself is not a threat to me, as I said, It cannot possibly get worse for me. Just existing is torture enough. I know Satan far more intimately than I have ever known god, so the denial of his beatific vision is meaningless to me because I neither want it nor have any experience with it. The threat of seeing Satan's real face is also meaningless because I have already seen it - my face is worse, for even Satan himself values his life whereas I do not. The only faith I have is in god's justice in that he will do the correct thing and give me eternal peace from this living hell in which I never chose to exist. Heaven is not an option, it is only another plane of hell for me. Happiness and Joy only add to the hell I'm already in. Hell itself would be the lesser evil for me, perhaps that is the real reason it exists.

The people in Hell do not regret their sins. If they did, they would be in Purgatory.
But their being punished for eternity due to them. So does it make sense that they'll regret their sins?

I agree with every thing he said,except when he said that the fire is a spiritual fire.Even though(presently) peoples souls and not their physical bodies are there(as of yet) the spirit or soul can undeed be burned by a real corporal fire,because it's of God.

What makes no sense is any admonition that tends to increase the terrors of hell, while pointing men to the law, which can only kill and condemn, rather than to Jesus, Who saves.
@@jsgehrke still the UA-cam video was about a vision of hell. You're asking why they're not talking about Christ. That's what doesn't make any sense the vision of hell is not about Christ but a vision of hell. If it was a vision of Heaven I would expect you would see Christ and not Satan
