I love it! I think the addition of the flowers in the foreground made a difference. I also like what you did to darken the mountain. I so enjoyed hearing you say, "OK, I'm going to stop here!" and then hearing you say, "No, I'm not!" Thanks for being such a genuine artist! Your shared talent is much appreciated.
I love being inspired by your mini- masterpieces. I do mine smallish to mount on cards for gifts. Many folks I gift them to frame them. I get many of my ideas from your work. Thanks and keep on creating.
I learned so much from you today. I personally think your painting is perfect. When I think I'm missing something in a painting, I go walk away for about an hour and come back to it. I have already added An old wagon wheel Fence Fence posts Boat Small building I work on a top corner A person in the distance An animal Good old birds in the sky Or some rocks, stones, pebbles. I love your honesty. It's a pleasure to watch you paint and a joy to hear you talk about your life and painting🧡🍂🖌
Julia love your videos I was painting on bigger watercolor paper but have started using small paper like you & I am having so much fun & really enjoying it . ❤ your videos are awesome 🤩
I like the way you paint creating that comes from mind no sketch or so called "value studies" the real way to paint in my opinion love it😅 this is how I have always approached my work oil acrylic and especially watercolor!
Hi, Julia! I do not like things for pity. I liked this bcz it was a good painting. It was abstract, abstract means there is no focus. That said when you gave us permission to add what we want, I did add some small 4-5 strand little clumps that got shorter the closer to the back ground in the center, to show that the grasses in the foreground were everywhere:)
Please enjoy this watercolor mountain scene tutorial.

THANK YOU for sharing the journey on this small work... it shows how we have to be flexible and respectful of the water!

I love painting small and turn them in to greeting cards and send them!
Me too!
I love how easily you painted the mountains! I overwork and struggle with them. I will try your dry brushing! Thank you. I so enjoy your tutorials.
I have other mountain technique tutorials on my channel too :)
I ❤ love them, too and have done several of your tutorials. I paint 2.5'' x 3.5'' size, so these tutorials are perfect for me.
Awesome!
I like it. But use paper towel to dab out. I love the orange. I absolutely love your honesty and authenticity. Well done!
Thank you Deb!

I’ve noticed some of the watercolorists who paint with darks and make moody City scenes always throw in a red something? Thanks for the video.
It's a good splash of color!
