@@tams805 its based on linux so it can run Linux apps , windows app though hmmmmm. honestly though chromeOs has come a far way and has actually taken some of Microsofts market share, if you want a alternative of a windows laptop then ChromeOs is the way, you can get a cheap light weight computer that runs well for a cheap price+ you get android , linux apps ect
they dont really need a custom button there is a back button and thats all it needs because instead of like how bluestacks works this opens each app in its own window that you can resize them however you want so it works just like any other windows application

Yeah, android developer on one hand will have the benefit benifit of larger screen estate and windows itself while on the other hand they will have to rethink Android apps on phones; like when they go on desktop, how will they perform. Can't wait to see it all happening.

Alot of 32bit, low res pc's are still out there. They cant run win11, bluestacks can still live for couple years. But yeah, they will eventually die off, unless windows wont support android games
I never have any good success running Android emulation player software on my laptop despite having an SSD hard drive, so this is definitely a welcome move.
So I can use conventional Windows Store Apps and Android Apps both in Windows 11. Both will be available in Windows Store. This is cool! Absolutely looking forward to it.

@Xtemess I run Roblox on my 2009 potato pc, it lags a bit but the thing has 2 graphics cards, an Nvidia and Intel integrated. The potato is the Acer Aspire 5745G, if you're interested.
I recall in late 2019 when Microsoft shut down the windows phone store. With such integration being offered for Windows 11 I guess it is a if you can't beat them join them situation. But still I would like windows phone as an OS to make a comeback.

What have you done for apps that requires more than 2 touch input at a time such as pubg mobile or codm. Have you made the proper key mappings which allows players to play from using keyboard and mouse aside touch
It will be a free upgrade for home and pro users, once your computer is ready for it it’ll probably just show up in your Windows update menu. If not you’ll have to download the upgrade assistant like in past times to move to new future updates
some emulators like Bluestacks won't die with this, they have unique feature touch controls. But this feature from Windows 11 is nice to have, I hope it works with AMD CPU and I hope we can test android apps without the use of emulators.
I can bet that most of the windows 10 users are going to upgrade only because of this feature. This is the biggest feature of windows 11. Rest, didn't impress me.

My potato is unofficially supported with a patch. All you gotta do is replace every file in the sources folder except install.esd and install.wim.

I miss auto-full screen apps, full-screen start menu, and taskbar on the left side of the screen.
some emulators like Bluestacks won't die with this, they have unique feature touch controls. But this feature from Windows 11 is nice to have, I hope it works with AMD CPU and I hope we can test android apps without the use of emulators.

Can you make an software or an update in windows 10 that converts bios to uefi without any data loss, Because there are lots of computer/pc that support bios and uefi both also, but windows older version installs in bios mode.
BlueStacks doesn't have to panic, especially when 80% of all users can't even upgrade to Windows 11 anyways.
