Use to pass this house on the way to work, I lived in the village. Cant remember the elderly lady name that lived in this house but she loved her cats, loved chatting and told me her parents had build the house around late 20s and she had lived in the house and was born there too. She said after her parents passed she never changed a thing .

This was a very nice house, and I got the impression all of the people connected to this house were educated and high level achievers; held important offices in their community. Maybe there was an illness going on when the sisters died, and that's why their deaths are so close together. Never got the feeling it was a haunted house, but rather peaceful. And as always, you are so sensitive and respectful to the home and it's former residents. Thank you Adam!

Such a beautiful example of 1920’s decor. I hope to see more paranormal, but enjoy hearing about what you feel whilst in locations. Agas and Rayburns take ages to get up to heat, so most people have an ordinary cooker as well for quicker controlable cooking heat.

I know of a You Tuber that has a friend that comes with him to film abandoned homes n they do spend the day cleaning ng n organizing various homes that had been destroyed by vandals. Th after pictures ar so wonderful. He makes them look how they must hav back when the owners were living there. Such a kind soul.

Hi Adam. As a young teenager, my mum bought a very old house to live in. It was approximately 350-400 years old at the time. It was one of the first houses built in the town. There were numerous stories of it being haunted by former occupants over the years. I found this to be totally true. There had been a barn in back where a horse was kept. One day the owner was in the house and heard the horse crying out and the sounds of a whip being used on the horse. The owner went running out to the born. As soon as he was next to the barn everything went silent. He looked into the barn. The horse was still and it was quiet. My mum lived with her kids in that house for over five years. They were the best 5 years of my life! I absolutely loved living there with all the ghosts and there were quite a few. Don't ever let a ghost/spirit know that you're nervous. They play on that. Stay calm. That's the best way. Great explore Adam. My love to Lisa.

Being females that lived there the photo you see over and over has to be their father. My grandma talks about her father a lot. The two stoves in the kitchen probably means they used to love to cook perhaps in their younger days. If there's ghosts it was probably the last sister who passed because loneliness is a very powerful emotion. It's a very nice house if someone wanted to invest a few thousand pounds repairing the roof and the damage it cost.

    • @dreamscott5913
      @dreamscott5913 2 роки тому +19

No one should invest in a creepy house they wouldn't have any peace living in.
It's best to let eerie places go this place needs to be leveled to the ground. It's rotten anyway and would have to be worked on constantly no work will last long without having to keep making repairs.
      Peace

Or maybe some people who discovered or known the place mustve taken away the furnitures. Hello Adam. Someone may have already answered this already, but there's a lot of posts already. A Rayburn unlike an Aga can heat water as well, so was probably used to heat the house and cook during the winter. In the warmer times of the year, you would use the electrical option.👍. As always, Great videos.

Amazing video. Please be careful exploring by yourself, you never know who may be living in those abandoned houses.
You should also tell ghost that may be there, that they are not to harm or attach themselves to you when you leave.
God Bless hon, and best wishes stay safe always. Hugs

As a medium I was getting the name of a disease starting with a T from the 2 woman/sisters that passed so I am assuming either they passed from TB or Typhoid Fever. Upon further research Typhoid was rampant during that time in history where this house was located.

Hi Adam great beginning to the video, also the drone footage of the house, the trees creeping now nearly to the house walls just showing how long it's been abandoned.
Nice house but as you say it's definitely got a creepy vibe to it.
Strange to only see pictures and no furniture enjoyed watching this one thanks for sharing

Most older houses would have both stoves. When I was growing up in England I lived in an old village bungalow. And it had an electric stove, and an old wood burning stove which would have piping running threw the house to help keep it warm. We use to use the wood burning stove to cook on all the time and use the electric one if we were running low on wood.

you said what i was going to. If our Rayburn went out, we had no hot water, until my parents had an immersion put in.

Yeah its often too hot in summer so mainly use electric cooker.

Here in the U.S., wood-burning stoves were also a heat source in old homes. Had hillbilly relatives in mountain shacks with no electricity so the stove was their only heat source in winter.

    • @deafsmith7689

@@guambyguambelle1864 that is why I put in most older homes you will have both. I was just say when I grew up in England , because now at 50 I live in Texas for over 35 years

I never saw an old wood burning stove with piping running through the house. Interesting! My experience was just a stove in the kitchen, no pipes. They'd just pile several quilts on when sleeping in another room.

There's 7 of us. Sadly, We did the same thing!!. Walked away from a two story home never to look back or return. Someone else went & paid the taxes. Which meant into longer belonged to us.... Shame on us for not knowing how to keep our childhood home in the family. It's senseless to be so unaware of a knowing & appreciating the hard work I parents put into our house. Shame on Us!!!!!

Could possibly be that the women who passed in there, so close date wise, was due to illness. Too many persons passed from influenza, tuberculoses, and such, back then. Just a thought.
