I only got bullied by being called fat, laughing at me while stealing my stuff and little papers saying some dumb messages… but being bullied like Alexa was? I can’t imagine the trauma it must have given her. I wouldn’t have been able to. The Britney situation must have genuinely been traumatizing. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have my idol screaming at me, as her little sister laughs at my suffering. You can’t even say sh*t because no one will believe you, no one will side with you because “JAmIE SpEaRs”, you are basically alone against a powerful person that could ruin your career if you try and fight. I know Alexa laughs it off and sometimes acts as if it’s all in the past… but the pain in her eyes is still there. I hope the best for her :(
It’s more harming to the victim to sit down and “talk it out” or “hash it out” with a narcissist. Been there… it’s completely pointless. The best thing you can do is go no contact and move on with your life without the narcissist.

I just have a vidid memory of seeing articles, youtube videos, that kinds thing. I remember reading something that was like "Alexis Nikolas was replaced on Zoey 101 because of bullying the other girls" And it really did make her look like a bad person...I remember thinking like wow...what's her problem? Kinda thing. BUT....I do not think that anymore. I have seen all her interviews, I follow her on instagram, I see all her posts, she is a genuine, kind, beautiful woman. This whole situation just shows how much power rich/ famous people have over the media. And especially now, with all this stuff coming forward about Jamie lynn..I'm sorry...but Jamie Lynn is NOT a good person. Who releases a book while their older sister is going through so much...it was all for publicity. If you really care, go talk to your sister in private. Also, I always kind of got the vibe that zoey was a mean girl behind closed doors. yea Zoey frankly wasn't that likeable except when she rallied the girls together bc they WERE in a new school that once didn't accept female students so being a young lady it's frankly inspiring and also necessary to have each other's backs but sadly JL didn't take this into account in real life w/ the way she treated Alexa.

Jaime Lynns behavior seriously reminds me so much of my own sister that it makes this hard to watch because while to most people it seems unbelievable this is such a classic case of children being raised by toxic parents. Jaime is old enough now to go to therapy and unlearn a lot of this but she's been benefitting for so long she wont. Blood doesn't equal family guys, your chosen family can be so much better for you sometimes. I hope Jaime does try and become a good person but her mind is so warped. Britney needs to just cut the losses and move on to be the Stronger person.
I think about Zoey 101 now and it's just like? What would a reboot even look like, because the show didn't have an actual plot. Like it did, but it didn't. What storylines would people be that excited to check in on 15 years later? Zoey and Chase's relationship? That can only carry a season for so long. It's not like iCarly where they had actual well-thought out plotlines and iconic recognizable characters whose lines you remember to this day. Zoey 101 doesn't have that. They really built an entire series on Jamie Lynn hype (which was actually Britney hype) and that's all it had to stand on.
I'm glad Alexa is refusing to be pressured to even entertain the idea of a Zoey 101 reboot. Also - I have to disagree with Sloan that it would be 'good' to see. I mean - remember how bad that trailer was? Michael runs in and tells 'nice guy Chase' that Zoey liked him all along - and then just like that, 'nice guy' Chase dumps this other random woman he was about to propose to in order to run off to find Zoey with Michael. Like...Jesus wept, the writing got even worse if anything. I liked the show as a kid (who didn't know better, frankly), but I'm more than happy for it to remain a dead horse in the ground.

Like, looking back it's already difficult to route for Chase to 'get the girl in the end' because if you rewatch the series now it's clear he's a 'nice guy' who isn't so nice. I felt like the trailer just cemented that the character was absolutely a jerk - but no doubt the reboot would still want us to think the two of them had a chance and they would aim to make the audience want that for them...but, I really don't. The weird 'will they/won't they' sitcom dynamic just doesn't work anymore. I don't want to see another young female protagnist get with the 'nice guy' who is actually a jerk (just not a 'jock' jerk, like Logan. It's weird how 'nerdy' jerks are still framed as if they aren't. It's a dated trope and I'm happy for it to die along with the show)

I remembered the day Alexa first broke the story about what happened in the trailer with Britney and Jamie bc as a huge fan of Zoey 101 AND Britney Spears, I was so torn and disgusted and sad at the same time bc knowing all that happened behind the scenes, esp when they did Alexa so dirty, felt like my childhood was ruined. I didn’t know what to think about Britney’s behavior when she did that to Alexa and I wondered if she was like her sister too. But then fast forward to now, where more things have been brought to light and become more complicated, seeing Britney actually acknowledging AND apologizing to Alexa while Jamie Lynn is getting ripped by the media and everyone, it now feels like the world is trying to right itself. It’s true what they say, you will always get what’s coming back to you. It's insane how rumors of this drama came out hrs ago, I remmeber bearing about Alexa being bullied when I was just 12 yrs old!! During those time I was watching Zoey 101 with my sister. My sister told me that, and I didn't know what was going on. Alexa character was my favorite on the show so I was sad as a kid why she wasn't there. I'm glad as a grown adult 23 now I can finally see. And I believe everything since little. Alexa spoke truth. I can’t blame Britney for sticking up for her sister, that is a pretty normal thing siblings do when we are young. However as we get older you realize sometimes siblings are wrong and that’s when you start doing things differently. I also don’t blame her bc now that we see how her family is, we see how manipulative and disgusting they are. She believed her little sister and wanted to protect her. No way. I stand with Alexa. Her memory of everything is based around the trauma she experienced which is not easy to forget. It sticks with you especially at such a young and impressionable age. I agree that Alexa is gonna be the one who remembers this the best but trauma can also distort memories to try to understand what happened or try to forget certain parts in self defense to protect the brain. I remember reading something that was like "Alexis Nikolas was replaced on Zoey 101 because of bullying the other girls" And it really did make her look like a bad person...I remember thinking like wow...what's her problem? Kinda thing. BUT....I do not think that anymore. I have seen all her interviews, I follow her on instagram, I see all her posts, she is a genuine, kind, beautiful woman. This whole situation just shows how much power rich/ famous people have over the media. And especially now, with all this stuff coming forward about Jamie lynn..I'm sorry...but Jamie Lynn is NOT a good person. Who releases a book while their older sister is going through so much...it was all for publicity. If you really care, go talk to your sister in private. Also, I always kind of got the vibe that zoey was a mean girl behind closed doors. Jaime Lynns behavior seriously reminds me so much of my own sister that it makes this hard to watch because while to most people it seems unbelievable this is such a classic case of children being raised by toxic parents. Jaime is old enough now to go to therapy and unlearn a lot of this but she's been benefitting for so long she wont. Blood doesn't equal family guys, your chosen family can be so much better for you sometimes. I hope Jaime does try and become a good person but her mind is so warped. I think about Zoey 101 now and it's just like? What would a reboot even look like, because the show didn't have an actual plot. Like it did, but it didn't. What storylines would people be that excited to check in on 15 years later? Zoey and Chase's relationship? That can only carry a season for so long. It's not like iCarly where they had actual well-thought out plotlines and iconic recognizable characters whose lines you remember to this day. Zoey 101 doesn't have that. They really built an entire series on Jamie Lynn hype (which was actually Britney hype) and that's all it had to stand on.

Like, looking back it's already difficult to route for Chase to 'get the girl in the end' because if you rewatch the series now it's clear he's a 'nice guy' who isn't so nice. I felt like the trailer just cemented that the character was absolutely a jerk - but no doubt the reboot would still want us to think the two of them had a chance and they would aim to make the audience want that for them...but, I really don't. The weird 'will they/won't they' sitcom dynamic just doesn't work anymore. I don't want to see another young female protagnist get with the 'nice guy' who is actually a jerk (just not a 'jock' jerk, like Logan. It's weird how 'nerdy' jerks are still framed as if they aren't. It's a dated trope and I'm happy for it to die along with the show)

I remembered the day Alexa first broke the story about what happened in the trailer with Britney and Jamie bc as a huge fan of Zoey 101 AND Britney Spears, I was so torn and disgusted and sad at the same time bc knowing all that happened behind the scenes, esp when they did Alexa so dirty, felt like my childhood was ruined. I didn’t know what to think about Britney’s behavior when she did that to Alexa and I wondered if she was like her sister too. But then fast forward to now, where more things have been brought to light and become more complicated, seeing Britney actually acknowledging AND apologizing to Alexa while Jamie Lynn is getting ripped by the media and everyone, it now feels like the world is trying to right itself.

It's insane how rumors of this drama came out hrs ago, I remmeber bearing about Alexa being bullied when I was just 12 yrs old!! During those time I was watching Zoey 101 with my sister. My sister told me that, and I didn't know what was going on. Alexa character was my favorite on the show so I was sad as a kid why she wasn't there. I'm glad as a grown adult 23 now I can finally see. And I believe everything since little. Alexa spoke truth. I can’t blame Britney for sticking up for her sister, that is a pretty normal thing siblings do when we are young. However as we get older you realize sometimes siblings are wrong and that’s when you start doing things differently. I also don’t blame her bc now that we see how her family is, we see how manipulative and disgusting they are. She believed her little sister and wanted to protect her. I’m glad she recognizes the truth now and is the only one out of that entire idiotic family to actually take accountability for her actions even if they were caused by a manipulative bratty little sister.

Honestly, when Chris Massey goes to TMZ about the drama between Alexa and Jamie Lynn and said there's no bullying but Alexa expose Chris for not caring to stop the Bullying. Completely Disgraceful! I'm very glad that Britney apologized to Alexa for the confrontation in 2005 and they made up, makes me very happy.
