The idea of Cause and Effect appears in Science, Philosophy, and Religion, and is based on a well known ‘principle of causation’. In Religion, God is the First Cause, and Creation is the Effect. But what if someone invented a philosophy that confused the sequence, and ‘reversed effect with cause? This would make no sense, yet this is what the ego’s religion would have you belief about yourself; namely that the ego is your creator, and deserves your loyalty.
