Just to avoid any possible misunderstanding, it might be worth mentioning that while Four O'clock is open this Opening Weekend at Breckenridge from the point where this video starts to the top of 5-Chair, it is not open the rest of the way yet. This video was shot April 10, 2017.

I know you did this video a long time ago but it was so helpful when visiting Breckenridge on Wednesday. Cool to board almost right up to the parking lot.

I did Four O'Clock starting from 5-chair and it definitely felt like a blue to me. It wasn't until I got to the split with Crosscut that it felt like a green. In fact, it was a bit much for my daughter that had to walk or slide down the steepest part right before the split. Other than that, she actually handled it better than me.

Quick question Ted. Just arrived in Breck and am staying near peak 9. Can I get onto the 4 o clock from the peak 8 superconnect? Just don’t want to get up there and find only blacks. Thanks for the great videos.

Sorry - I have not checked for comments here in awhile and you have almost certainly figured this one out by now. But for anyone else finding this... The answer is yes. And one of my videos this season where I ski Tiger, Mach I, and Goodbye Girl shows this section of Four O'clock between the top of the Peak 8 SuperConnect and Mach I.

Question: Is the top of Four O'Clock below Vista Haus blue section similar to the steep section on Lower Four O'Clock that has been both a blue and green run? Just wondering for a beginner skier if that upper Blue run is a nice introduction to blue runs?

Start with Springmeier to the bottom of the Colorado chair. Four O'Clock tends to have people going faster on it just below the Vista Haus and the section which has been shown as both blue and green, depending on the year that the map was published, is often more crowded and skied off than Springmeier.
