- Gateway Center is the long forgotten Towne and Country Mall. Although its life as a mall is clearly over, it still hangs around in the form of a business center.

I must be a hardcore mall fan. The vintage aesthetics still intact are rare.
The wood paneling, stones, and planters are so beautiful. I wish I worked in this mall so i could put my steps in around the halls.
I loved this stop! Reminds me of how the Sunshine Mall in Daytona Beach used to look, but that place used cypress wood. Please show us more hidden gems like this.
The original anchor stores were Montgomery Ward, Woolco, and Bealls. I e-mailed a random person on Loopnet 15 years ago to find that out.
I love seeing these early malls get remade into business centers without them doing too much to them. Same thing happened to Blue Hen Mall in Delaware, although they did eventually rip out the old mall concourse for more office space. The smaller malls tend to be the best candidate for this type of after-life.
This is a great find, I really like seeing places like this. Seeing the wood still being intact was awesome. It really reminded me of several malls I used to go to when I was a kid in Northern California in the 80's. The felt old to me then, but they always had the most interesting stores.
When a mall starts turning into a business center, the businesses that take up space rarely do much business.
That place looks amazing as a former mall, with all its vintage aesthetics!
I really liked this mall. The wood and planters were so old school. I’m happy it’s not rotting away or torn down. I like more obscure malls.
I like the shiny floors. I wouldn't want to be the person who buffs them, though. Good video. 👍
This is a vintage gem...
The glassy tile looks like water almost. Very strange.
Obscure is good! Loved this one
I don’t watch Doomie’s content much anymore but he still astounds me with what malls he is able to uncover.
Watch Doomie's videos more regularly. That would be good IMO. And yes, I've been following every Friday for way over a year now and I love the places he finds. I agree. Have a nice day.😊
It is beautiful. It is such a shame that it is closed
Had no idea this place existed. We have been through Temple a few times. Next go around, I will have to find this place.
DG I think this was cool. I never seen so much wood in a mall. I wonder how much of it was in the mall and how much was added when it became a business center.
This place looks pretty nice. I like the wood and brick architecture. Seeing this mall repurposed is still way better than seeing a demolition IMO. 😊💛🌱🪴🌱🪴
Hardcore mall!
😂
I enjoy your content
The Temple mall website has been removed!
The more obscure the better.
Nice
Cute
Seriously music from Weatherscan is being played...
Is there a problem?
1st. Did this place have all that wood when it was a mall?
Why would we want to see an interesting old school mall like this that we have never seen when we can watch a video about a mall that’s been filmed 700 times with the same history repeated from a new UA-camr acting like it’s the first time the mall has been filmed?
Come on man!
What are we now on the 4th or 5th wave of dead mall UA-camrs?
😅 (but sadly so true some are over-obsessed about Forest Fair, Century 3, etc)
@@BoratWankstayea, there’s a group that can’t let go and seem to not have the ability to see there’s already been dozens and dozens of the same vids. I lived near c3 for a decade and the town is now going after some UA-camrs that have posted recent vids.
I am definitely a fan of anyone getting out and filming but when the same info is repeated by a newer UA-camr acting like no one has provided the same info several times over in the last few years, that’s when it’s annoying. I usually try to give some shout outs and credit to the UA-camrs that filmed places I post just as a “hey, your video inspired me”…
WOW! Almost 30 comments on a Doomie Grunt video in less than 24 hours. This is the biggest amount of comments I've seen in a very long time in under 1 day. I'm really surprised.▶😊✏✏📌
For this video, I ate mushroom stuffed dumplings with butter and vinegar. I know it may sound like an odd pairing but I promise it's really good.🥟🥟🍽🥟😊🤍🤎🧈I didn't have any pepper left so I had to consume it as it was but it tastes way better with butter, pepper and vinegar.
