These days, most Macaws are NOT wild catch as that's illegal pretty much everywhere. And since they live up to 90 years, their human owners simply give up on them. So, im assuming that these are domestically-bred birds which will not last a few days out in the wild, or probably rescued birds. Either way, they all seem tamed and happy in their large aviary. Indeed, and with so much companionship, abundant food, with no raptures, snakes or (threatening) _humans_ stressing them, I'm thinking they're a pretty content group. Would that all parrot species bred so well in captivity, and we could work toward a day when enough habitat has been restored and made secure for them to reestablish themselves in an open setting.
An amazing and beautiful flock of macaws. I know that some people think a caged bird can't be happy. I had an extremely happy cockatoo who was well loved and well behaved. He never picked himself or hurt anyone. Birds can be super happy in a domestic situation. It really depends on the owner.

The cage is still too small. BIrds are meant to fly free and for many kilometers. Why have them stuck in a cage for your pleasure. Very nasty.
