Hey hope! That poppin cookin is a different version! The ones you bought you mix into different candy versions of food. The other kind is a mix that makes the candy from liquids. Same concept but a different candy
True
That's what I was coming here to say. NerdEcrafter did a video on the candy you're looking for hope, it's a whole separate kit I'll try to find the exact one for ya.
Yeah she used the cooking food pack
And how you make it is in the back
Was gonna say this exact thing...we got the donuts & the sushi kits to make with my nephew...our local grocery store carries those 2 kits.
I think Tammy's sugar crystals are actually Kohakuto, a type of traditional Japanese candy which is basically dried agar jelly. It is quite easy to make but the way she moulds and colours it gives it a new look, the products are so beautiful.
I've just googled it and it looks so similar
We have something similar in Belgium too :)
It is called cuberdon and it is a cone shape. The outside is crunchy (not as crunchy as in the video though) and the inside is like a jelly/liquidy texture 🤤
They definitely are
This! I made a comment about it and then read yours 😆
I'm also pretty sure about the kohakuto (i watch too many mukbang/ASMR videos)
So glad someone commented about this, I’ve seen another video where someone ate these crystal candies & I swore there was a Japanese candy I thought was the same thing but couldn’t remember the name of it! It was going to drive me nuts & I would have no idea what to google to try to find it haha
The edible crystal packaging was my favorite- the marshmallow in the ziplock bags 😩
I've made that stringy candy before! Japanese tongue candy or gummy tsureta. Emmymade used to make these kits all the time. You can probably get them at an Asian grocery store. I don't actually think Poppin Cookin has this particular one but it is owned by Kracie. The package is like plastic also I remember the taste was extremely mediocre and a little plastic too lol. Still fun!
Tammy's candy's were so beautiful like I can't get over it I bet they look even better in person!!!! She is extremely talented
Yeah
Aww thank you so much!
@@TAMMYHH you're so welcome it's so crazy that you actually saw my comment haha!
ikr😊
@@shayla5829yeah its crazy😊
Thank you Hope! So happy you enjoyed them ✨
You do beautiful work!!!!!
Those were beautiful, Tammy.
Those were masterpieces!!
OMG love your stuff!!!
You are so talented!!!!!❤
The Lotus candy reminds me of those lotus candy in Percy Jackson 😂
Lotus casino. Just read that part.
Is anyone watching this in 2024❤
Meeeee 😅
Me
Hiii
I am❤❤
I am 😅❤❤
For your future culinary endeavors, sugar dissolves very easily in water. Just soak the bowls with the sugar in water for like 10 minutes in hot water or like 30 minutes in cold water and the sugar will dissolve and you can clean it. I do this all the time when I make caramel.
Girl you are really putting your life on the line for us eating food you bought off Etsy 😭 it even came in a ziplock baggie 😫
I thought that too 😬 no way I'd be eating that
Yeah i don't trust to buy food online, much less homemade. Has pink sauce lady not taught us nothing
I thought that too!!
Why?
@@stephs360 i guess tho don't trust some random person to make it hygienely, follow safety laws, or not randomly decided to poison you.
Finally, somebody else who likes candy corn
If you ever get melted hard candy on dishes, just soak them in hot water until it starts dissolving.
2:57 I'ts the wrong packet, its a whole diff candy
HOPE!! The Japanese one you need the gummy tsureta kit specifically for it to be how it is in the tiktok, the kits you got were totally different kits. Popin Cookin do all sorts of creative food related candy kits, you just needed a specific one for this.
thankkk you hahahaha i was screaming the same at the videooss, thatts nott the goodd oneeee haha !!!
@@stephaniepoulin2406 I watch waayyyy too many videos on the different Popin Cookin kits and now know too much haha, my useless knowledge finally came in handy!
My kid loves them
I want her to retry this so bad
Did anyone else notice that when she made her Cotten candy it looked exactly like the trees from the Lorax 🙈
I love how she was so confused with the Poppin cooking. It made me laugh so much.😂❤
As a small business owner myself, I really appreciate how many small businesses and individuals you purchase from in your videos! I can’t wait to see more! ❤
🎉🎉Im the 190th person who liked this comment !🎉🎉
What do you sell 12:19
i love you
I love Leo licking the sugar off the counter 🤣. Homemade marshmallows are super easy to make you should try them!
Heyy, do you have a recipe for those?
@@idreamofabikeeveryday yes! Ive tried home made marshmallows they didn't turn out too great...XD
@@Star.girlie. @that1personlol Josh Weisman has a a video on his channel. Sorted Food also has some from awhile ago. I've never tried, but it always looks super easy.
Hope, do more with the Cotton Candy maker! Try different candies. 🍬🍫🍭😍💘
I was looking for this comment hahhah Leo is the cutest!
I love how hope always makes a suprised face when she bits into the cookie even though she knows they are soft!! Who else watches her videos Non stop. Love you hope!!! (Beautiful name by the way, It really matches your personality)
For the poppin cooking one, you’re not supposed to just being out the candy string out of nowhere, it’s a kit where you make gummy food, and you’re supposed to stir it. It’s not meant to bring out random candy slime out of thin air.
12:20 those biting noises were just soooo satisfying to hear
7:49
"This one looks like Lord Farquaad."
Did not expect that comment! 😆🤣🤣
Those marshmallows looks so good you should make a s'more out of it ❤
I’m dying my hair purple inspired by your beautiful pink hair 😍
When she bites different types of stone like candies.. the crunch sounds are like asmr.. it's relaxing ✨🎧
Can we just talk about how STUNNING Hope’s nails are?! ❤
I was just thinking that!! Fab
Agreed
They are SO PRETTY 🎉❤
YES .They are beautiful
Seriously the prettiest
i think you got the wrong kind of poppin cookin
The second candy that was Japanese brought back so many memories cause o use of love eating it as a kid basically the candy you had was not the one in the video but actually you use the powers and water to creating (honestly weird tasting) candy sort of things they tasted weird but they were really fun!! You could creat cakes, dango, waffles , ice cream and so on!
You should still try the marshmallows from Australia!
The owners are lovely! They've really grown over the years 🥰
been eyeing for their marshmallows for so long i hope they expand their shipment through the Philippines. 😩🫶🏻
Hi! Can you tell me the name of the Australian company with the marshmallows? I’m dying to try them. I didn’t see the name anyplace! Please tell me if you know it.
@@AdrienneMintThe company is called The Marshmallow Co.
@@lemonade1447 thanks very much
Yea!
6:35 Leo stepping in for vacuum duty! 🤣🤣
Simply just freezing the grapes themselves is a great treat...for some reason it makes them even sweeter! The texture is also amazing lol...great to do in the summer.
Hey hope you didn’t do that poppin Cook recipe right you have to do the instructions at the back
I love you hope you’re my favorite UA-camr and if I didn’t watch your UA-cam videos, I don’t know what I would’ve done. It’s that you have the best channel.❤
😊😊 9:57
Those crystal thingies are beautiful and would make a great wedding party favor. Specially the flowers.
This is a win win for Tammy!!! Those are amazing and I’m DEFINITELY going to check her out for my daughters wedding!!!! My daughter and her soon to be wife would LOVE them!!!!
That’s so sweet! I hope they love them! :)
I didn't even think about that a wedding!! I want some for my wedding with a matching geode cake
awee congratulations!! 🎉 that sounds like a super aesthetic wedding
Congrats to your daughter and her fiancé/ or wife :)
Put inside the cotton candy machine toxic waste candy. It is very sour and hard
Hi Hope! You bought the wrong brand of candy, it is supposed to be yummy nummies, and there is one called “Yummy Nummies Ribbon” and that is the correct one, so please try it out! I hope my suggestion was good!
"This one looks like lord farquad" 😂
Banana
Tammy’s creations were my favorite! I loved the lotus flowers! So beautiful!🤩
10:10 Ok, it’s official: I want a cotton candy machine to use at my housewarming party!
Oh you so should! I wanted wedding cupcakes and I did them and I'm so happy I did. Looking back it's a memory that I'm proud of following through on "hey this seems cool, I want that for this special occasion!"
Tammy’s candy is so pretty she’s very talented ❤❤
A shop near my university sold gourmet guava marshmallows when there were like markets and fairs going on. I’ve been chasing that flavour ever since, they were so good!!!
The Japanese diet candies that you got aren't the same thing as what the tik tok video had, but all Japanese DIY candies are so fun to make!! I've only tried a couple of them, but the ones I did try were delicious!😂
Can we appreciate how much money she spent on this video
I LOVE POPPIN COOKIN AND YUMMY NUMMYSSSSSS
I just want a whole video of hope eating things that look like other non-edible things. Like can we put her in a room with a bunch of edible objects mixed with real ones and ask her to locate the food? :'D Damn those rock cookies at the end were SO nice!
Pretty sure that Tammy's candies are kohakuto. It's an extremely popular textured candy for a lot of mukbangers who also do ASMR videos (like Hongyu ASMR). I always love hearing that crunch and the slight softness inside!
On the fruit roll my mom made that but with ice cream and then when we took a bite out of it it was SO crunchy and good😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
7:49 “this one looks like lord farquad” 💀
My day is 10000x better when Hope posts.I just love watching her vids
I love how Lee is watching you open the packs and the freezer. And then his little tail when you said this was phenomenal. Thank you Tammy, you can see only Lee's tail wagging beside you, HAHAHA...Love it!
I loved his little boing boing tail at the end too!
I watch your videos every
Singel day! 😊
Live streams, videos and reels all keep me so entertained during work!! Thank you for sharing ❤
I think i found Hope's channel for about a week now...n I'm already started to run out of videos to binge watch 💁🏽♀️
*HOPE'S CONTENT IS ADDICTIVE* ✨ and i LOVE it 💕
Omg sa,eee
Lee's head casually popping up into view to check out what Hope is doing. Also scoping out if any treats
You shouldtry freeze dried jolly ranchers, they are SO good in my opinion. 🥰
Hey! NerdECrafter covered the actual satisfying candy kit in a video about Japanese candy kits! I recommend checking it out.
The real marshmallow company has actual flavors you’ve got to try them when they restock
OMGGGGGGG HOPE I LITERALLY LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH I CANT GO A DAY WITHOUT WATCHING YOU I 🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍🤍🧡🤍🧡 U SOOOOOO MUCHHH❤❤❤
The candy crystals are like something Willy Wonka would make
Hi Hope! For the freeze dried candy, I really recommend freeze dried skittles, they are sooo yummy and crunchy!
Being someone who worked at a restaurant where we had to make cotton candy for EVERY SINGLE TABLE after their meal, I had a bit of trauma occur with the cotton candy machine 😂
But then seeing that yours could make it out of any candy!!! 😍 now I wantttt one!!!
Also making cotton candy can definitely be hard! I used to constantly teach new employees how to make them and it was rough haha
Oh wow that’s wild every table?? what restaurant?
My favorite jolly rancher are the green and watermelon and cherry
I like how the video start immediately without any sneak peak or any long as introductions whatever so, appreciate!
I love that you supported Tastley! They are a local shop near me and they haven't had the best year (hackers, fake reviews ect)
You're awesome Hope!!
Marshmallows can be made at home. They're messy to make, but so much better. I imagine the gourmet ones are very much like home made.
Those grape candies are so cute!
The crystal candy is absolutely gorgeous.
Finally, someone understands that blue and red are the only good flavors in jolly ranchers like they’re the only best flavors
Did you ever get the unicorn corn poop? If so, did you like it?
12:47 THE TINY SWISHY TAIL!! AAAAAAAAAAA 💕
12:29 “it tastes like a flower?!” So your telling me you ate a flower once!? 😂 I don’t think that’s healthy
Fr though 😂😂😂❤
Fr 😂😂💀💀
Actually there are some flowers that are edible
I love how she always says -“welcome to chef hopes kitchen”
The blie candy is like the tanghulu lynja made 🕊️
Those crystal candies are breathtakingly gorgeous! The flower one especially is far too pretty to eat 🌸
Omg Tammy is soooooo talented. Those cookies are absolute works of art. So beautiful
My favorite candy is candy corn too
I love your videos so much, keep up the good work❤
The crystal candy and the candy flower looked so good, I wish I could have one of those. Tammy was so nice to you that she gave you the crystal candy and flower.
I really love the freeze dried nerd clusters, skittles, and gummy worms. you should definitely try them!! 💕💕💕💕
oh you already did the nerd clusters nvm 😂 but you should try the other ones still
Hey Hope! For the grape candy you can actually do it with just boiled sugar and ice water. You can just take your grapes and dip them in boiling sugar and then dip into ice water multiple times!
You should put frozen gummy nerd clusters in the cotton candy machine
The way he says “crevice’s” 13:05 😂
8:40 Rosanna Pansino has done at least one video of different candies in a cotton candy machine
I love watching your videos before going to school
your dog at 6:00 🥰😭
the sound when you bite into the candy is so incredibly satisfying 😍
Oh my goooodddddd. The crystals sound soooo satisfying to eat 😩😩😩 And now I want to try jolly rancher cotton candy so bad! 💜
Yeah omg I want the crunch from those crystals!
A few tips for making those grape candys:
1.use silicone containers, if you do you can just pop the hardened candy out of it.
2. If your not adding anything like nerds and its just the melted jolly ranchers then dip them in ice water to cool them.
The poppin cookin is a different kind then what they had
This video was SO much fun. I need some of those edible crystals in my life right now! Loved this video.
5:54 the way that Leo just pops up😂💗
hi! That Japanese candy is called gurugurunerune gumitsureta hope this helps!
13:12 beautiful amethyst cake , my favorite gem
Those "Tammy's Candies" look sooo good!! 😍💗💥
I’m so glad you tried out the gourmet marshmallows! I’ve been eyeing those videos for such a long time!
Who else loves hopescope
Everything is so cool I❤it
Marshmallow Co are delicious, their choc mint was amazing. Seems weird the company you ordered from pack them in regular ziplock bags and not properly sealed packaging.
Hey Hope! The grape candy that you made with Jolly Ranchers is called Tanghulu! It is a Chinese candy that you make with melted sugar and a bunch of different types of fruit. You dip it into ice water directly after rolling them into your sugar. Does not harm your fruit, hardens your sugar.
its not, its *simmilar* but not the same
no it's crack grapes
thats not tanghulu its similar but its not tanghulu. tanghulu is where you melt sugar than you take different types of fruit and dip it than wait for it to harden, you dont need to dip it into icy water.
OMG
I LOVE THE POPINCOOKIN ONES I ALWAYS GET THE AT H-MART
my sisters said their for kids that want to make food even though my mom does not like them we still buy them because she know that we LOVE THEM SO MUCH
I love your videos ❤
Love the video!! Instantly knew a recommendation.. try making some of the freeze-dried candies into a powder so you can add it to the cotton candy machine! I think it would be pretty good.
Ahh The fact that she always manages to entertain us even on the weekend props to her
