- One of the joys of CES is finding the small products off the beaten path of the show floor. While we weren't able to actually enjoy CES in person this year, a product I've actually been using for a couple of months had a small presence at CES 2021! So, I thought I'd use it as a way to get back in the content creation saddle in this new year. Be ready for all of the crazy big announcements, but for now let's just have a drink and check out this USB-C powered blender that's got some real strength: the BlendJet 2!

Main questions to have about a blender are power and different settings…. Would’ve been cool to review anything about that. We all can see that it’s small/compact, convenient and charges with a small cord.
Mine gave up working after just 3 weeks. The button was blinking randomly and not starting. I read a massive amount of similar complaints on the net (wish I did my research before I bought it), and people also claiming that Blendjet is removing the negative feedbacks from their site. Mine seemed to be water damaged. When I shook the base (without the jar) I could hear there was water inside that leaked out of the bottom eventually. No idea how it went in there as I never held it under water or put it in the dishwasher or anything. I didn't want to buy a cheap noname Chinese gadget but a good quality blender. This is not the one, so I'm back on the search for a proper one. With all fairness, Blendjet replied immediately, asked for videos, then admitted they couldn't do anything about it, so I had to return it. (I posted this comment twice here and was removed twice.)
I received one as a gift and love it. Perfect for blending MCT oil in heavy whipping cream and butter for my Keto coffee. I was spoiled before its first charge. Love it!
Hi there! I just saw on the blend jet Facebook page that you aren’t supposed to put MCT oil in this blender. Someone asked about it and blendjet replied that it wasn’t recommended. Be careful using MCT👍🏾

My blender arrived damaged, but customer service was great and they replaced the damaged part, so I am happy with the product now. I am going to look for recipes for personal blenders.

Hello and thank you for the great review. Question: I just got one of these and noticed the blades are not exactly located in the center of the base unit (they are located closer the side of the base). Have you noticeed a similar location for your product blades? Thank you. By the way the unit feel solid and worth the money. Have not tested yet but will let you know.

So it actually confirms on the website that the blades are offset from the center to create a tornado effect when blending
So it’s that cheap WMF blender I use. That which I have like 10s different bottles for. Except that I don’t have to plug it in a wall.
I know this video has been up for a while already but the instructions specifically say not to use MCT oil or powder in it because it can somehow shorten the life of the components. Though they don't say how.
Something to consider for people who want to get this specifically for MCT shakes.

@@watermelonpie660 I used mine for almost a year and the battery last quite awhile and I take it to work and it blends really well it pretty much works the same as when I first got it. I keep my older one at work. My newer one that is a year old I take with me on the go. My 3 year old one is pretty rough though.
I was kind of expecting an extortionate price for this thing but was quite surprised to see it's under £50. I had been thinking about getting a portable blender prior to all the lockdowns which has me WFH and no longer have a need for one.. but it's on my list if we ever go back to the office.
There's something that really bothers me. Why doesn't the charging port have a cover? What am I supposed to do if food gets inside it???
The charging port is water resistant and doesn’t really get dirty in our experience. If it does, you can just rinse it out.
By microusb covers. You can get them on amazon for 5 bucks

Can i put it in my handcarry whilst travelling on a plane? Is the blade size acceptable enough to pass through the airport security checks?
I wish we could disconnect the tank, have bottom cover and then use it like an actual bottle instead of having a blender blade at the bottom of glass

@@deadshxllbecause what if an accident happened and it broke off the bottom, you wind up swallowing a blade? Very dangerous.
the bottom does disconnect - just twist, the first time may be stiff, but it twists off - read the manual. There is also a lock on the button so it doesn't start when you don't want it to, READ THE MANUAL PEOPLE. The blender blade is connected to the base, not the blender barrel.

Commenting late but it can't really do thick smoothies. Medium thin is about what it can handle. Around one third to one half ice or frozen fruit to liquid. It's a really nifty gadget but ngl it's gonna choke if you want to try something like nice cream in it.
There are so many of them on Amazon. Is it worth the price? Any problems so far with the blendjet not working well.
I wouldn't purchase this as the quality is not that good and if even if you wanted one I would purchase it from the actual Blendjet website Amazon can sell you bad products sometimes.

Use a little water, pour out water after the ice is crushed. Definitely add ice to your favorite cocktail and blend. Great.
Yes I bought one but after charging does not work. It flashes pink to red to pink to red etc. Arrows aligned. The blades have never moved and I cannot use it. Waste of time.

You probably figured it out by now. Don’t overfill and start it upside down maybe shake it a little while you turn it back up

Save your money! Mine lasted for 2 blends and quit. Nothing more than an overpriced AS SEEN ON TV piece of garbage. There are better alternatives out there.

@@darceyderosa2426 yes, but you must put in a liquid or it won't work and there may be bits and pieces of the spin/kale/straw in it, you may have to spin it 2 or 3 times at 20 secs each.
