Excellent work! Congratulations! and thank you. Cthulhu is too heavy, monotonous, that should expected in this kind of works but should be applied with taste, everything has an inner logic, here the equilibrium is perfect.
@@restforthewicked6842 To get the full forest experience, I add ua-cam.com/video/ABCwX_ERUmw/v-deo.htmlsi=OAUiqFaRgGlWxPFs to your mix at a low volume. Your mix are crazy good, thank you for the awesome work. If I had to find two way you could do to improve the mix : I think it's too "empty", I mean for my taste, I would add another youtube ambience mix at low volume. For example for your ghost ship mix, I add an ocean ambience. I know you did, but there are part in the mix where the ocean sounds disappears. Second way, I noticed some mix are not recognizable. For example, a forest or ocean, everyboday will say "oh it's a forest or an ocean", but sometimes you just put random horror sounds and says "it's about this horror story" but the sounds are not related. Maybe if you do a chinese ambience, you could add more chinese sounds for example. Also, I don't know if you watched The Ritual on Netflix, it would do a sick ambience video (dark deep forest, nordic gods, lost village, etc.). Other recommandation would be the horror movie Midsommar, it's a sick theme (sweden, Ättestupa, cult). Or a night in the countryside with undead. An haunted manor. A cemetery. A western ghost town. A satanic cathedral. An empty gas station in the middle of the desert at night. A slaughterhouse (love this one).
Even with good speakers you can hardly hear anything 🙄. My starting point is that a composer should create music that can be listened to with headphones as well as with loudspeakers, whatever their quality, without having to turn the volume up to almost the maximum. In all your videos you can barely hear anything, and that kills the whole listening experience. It's a shame because the ambiences are really good.
@@restforthewicked6842 how is that woke, and nothing wrong with woke, woke has the same problem that every other party, group, and organization has, bad people in it, and those bad ones are often overlooked from the good and right ones
Uhm- No, it's part truth and part lie, 50/50. In pre-Hispanic Mexico, human sacrifices WERE performed, offerings were made with them, slaves were murdered, etc. Among that, it also stands out that yeah, we DID eat human flesh, as cruel as it sounds, our true "traditional cuisine" includes cannibalism as a normal method of eating, however, it is not how the Spanish colonizers made it seem. Here, a person was not killed daily to be devoured, we were not cannibal tribes similar to those on the Northern Sentinel Island, much less did they sacrifice ten people daily. Those who were killed were prisoners of war, rapists, thieves and criminals. In other cases, selected people were also raised from childhood who had the best characteristics according to the empire's criteria, and, just as would be done with cattle, they were raised and trained for and by that purpose, reaching a specific age they knew they would be killed and did not resist. When human flesh was consumed it was from a warrior, from someone who lost in the ball game or, in another case, from a criminal and it was in ceremonies. For example, if a woman was raped by a man, the empire would order that man to be captured, he would be executed publicly, he would be quartered and later cooked, the victim of the crime was the one who had to take the first and largest bite because in this way it was considered that his honor was saluted and that the criminal had paid his debt and justice had been done, later the victim's family was the one who ate from it but NOT the people of the town. In war there were "similar" practices because it was believed that by consuming the heart of an enemy you would gain his strength and abilities. But I repeat, all this was done in special ceremonies, on specific days of the year and every few years in many cases, we did not eat humans on a recurring basis nor did we use them as a substitute for animals as is often believed, starting with the fact that there were turkeys here, also called "Guajolotes" or "Huaxolotl", they ate insects (Which we continue to eat today), snakes and other types of animals.
