Anybody whose built a home or remodeled knows that once you get storage everything goes way easier. That’s crazy on that bead board. How did that pass inspection. You girls are amazing how you get things done. You both are hard workers. Have a blessed week.
Wow! You have gotten so much done in a year! You should both be so proud of yourselves! Your driveway is so nice! That will be a blessing come winter! That soup looked delicious! Very cool Amazon gifts! Beautiful garden and watermelons! Everything is looking so beautiful!
I like what you are doing. Your home is looking great! You have done a lot in one year's time. You are both very talented. Your veggys look great and so do your flowers, especially your sunflowers. I try to grow a few sunflowers myself each year. I enjoy them. Keep up the great work and please keep sharing your videos. Thanks and may God Bless.
Has to be more than 8". 18-36" for combustibles ( ie wood) per US codes or it can get too hot and catch fire. I used to do installs. Just don't want to see anything bad happen to yall
We appreciate the concern and we have installed our stove and have the pantry in a place that is safe per the stove manufacturer instructions. We are in no danger. This is a very small and a new stove is not made like stoves used to be made. We could actually put combustibles up to 3 inches if it was protected. I have to say this regularly and I’ll say it again- no one wants our safety more than we do. No one. No one wants this house to burn down less than we do. There is not a single person in our comment section that has done more research about the safety for building our house than we have.
As a new sub, I've got a lot of respect for you girls going out there and giving things a go! You have accomplished a lot within a year. Congratulations for getting this far👌
Hello Lovely Ladies. Been on the edge of my seat waiting for the next video. Thank you so much for sharing. With all the cooking and canning sounds like recipe book time.
You ladies are amazing! I am very interested in off grid living. Do you both have a background in contracting? You all are my favorite off griders. I am just floored about what women can accomplish. You both ROCK!!!
Congratulations, looking so beautiful and coming along way! Are you able to fit a small Christmas tree? Because of our German Shepherd pup(1 year) I bought a table top one that I keep up all year long and decorate for all the seasons ( not halloween but I decorate for fall/harvest). Look forward to more and more videos! Oh and I love the shelving unit you just installed in this video! Oh: why not leave the pantry open like it is, love farmhouse style! Around 5 months ago I had my oldest daughter help me take off our upper cupboards doors so it’s not open and farmhouse looking, although the daughters hopefully will paint it someday!
Love it, but in my opinion everyone who does the shed to house conversions, forget that the roofs don't have enough hangover to keep the walls and windows from getting water damaged. Adding a new roof with a foot overhang all around would solve a lot of the problems.
Hello from central Virginia . Just found your channel . You ladies are doing a fantastic job . You are very inspiring & I know you are inspiring so many others to just get out their AND DO IT !
You definitely should add one meal to each of your videos, coz food is one the biggest part of our lives and it's always interesting to see how people organize their meals. So your videos gonna be more interesting, show us how you organize your meals..
Girls that wood stove is way too close to the pantry why didn't you at least pull it over more to the window even then you should have a fire board on the side closer to the wood stove! I never leave a comment but today I just could not believe what I was seeing, love everything else you are doing but this will not work.
You must have skipped over the part where we talked about that. Because we addressed that at length and said what we were going to do to protect it. I'd also like to add that no one, and I mean no one, is more concerned about our safety than we are. You can rest assured that we don't do anything that is potentially dangerous without extensive research.
@@kaycook1819 I am 70 years old and have had wood heat all my life maybe people should see what the right distance is I know for here it is 12 inchs' with a fire board and brick. Yes, I did see the whole video I just hate to see all their hard work burn down Plus does anyone have any comen since anymore omg!
@sylvia jones- I know but what I wish I could get everyone to understand is that there isn't a single person who is more concerned about our safety than we are. It's frustrating because every single week someone is in our comment section thinking that they know more about our situation than we do and acting like we are being careless. It's insulting and condescending.
You accomplished a whole lot of this homestead. You two are amazing.
Thank you, Nancy :) We appreciate your kind words!
Love watching all the progress. So glad you got all the rock, hopefully no getting stuck now.
I can’t believe what a huge difference the gravel and driveway made! Love all the progress you’ve made on the kitchen and the land!
I know it’s made a huge difference! And I think it’ll be so helpful in the wet wet winter!

Having aggregate laid out is huge! Congratulations!
Thank you!

Will you be taping and muddying the ceiling or using beadboard as well?
Love it, but in my opinion everyone who does the shed to house conversions, forget that the roofs don't have enough hangover to keep the walls and windows from getting water damaged. Adding a new roof with a foot overhang all around would solve a lot of the problems.
This area looks gorgeous. This is TN?

you need a wood chipper for all that tree "stuff" - then you could make your own mulch!
You definitely should add one meal to each of your videos, coz food is one the biggest part of our lives and it's always interesting to see how people organize their meals. So your videos gonna be more interesting, show us how you organize your meals..
Hello what type of oven are you all using ? Love the look
I’m interested in knowing more about the music you use for your videos, if you could share? You’re both amazing- living the dream, for sure!
We use royalty free music from a website called Epidemic Sound. You pay a monthly service to be able to use it.
Amazing

They said they were going to install something on the pantry for fire safety. Maybe watch the video again.
