I think it's hard to identify the most deserving winner, but I immediately think of Jinkx Monsoon & Bianca Del Rio; based on their stellar performance throughout the season, it's difficult to justify any of the runner-ups. I don't exactly feel the same way with the newer eras -- Sasha Colby is the only one that comes to mind. She no doubt earned that win, but at the same time, I would argue that it came across as being the inevitable outcome.
jinkx's drag was no where near the levels of roxxxy, detox, or alaska on her original season. she won solely based on her talent, which is impressive, but you could make cases for either roxxxy or Alaska winning over her if you look at their actual drag packages that they brought
To me, the most deserved Drag Race win has to be Keiona's on Drag Race France S2. She was a superstar even before the show and she just came to showcase what she's made of.
I think Krystal Versace actually got outshined by her cast on that season, in terms of challenge performance at least. On the runway she was definitely sickening but those were the only challenges she did well in.
Tbh she kinda demolished the first half of the season, she kinda struggled in the later half but she ate that finale so it was well deserved on her case
Sara was my pick to win but I just felt like Keiona really deserved it. Even though Sara had done incredibly well, those episodes she stumbled kinda swayed it in Keiona’s favor, especially because she had performed well when Sara hadn’t.

It’s a pattern I’ve seen. This doesn’t apply to performers who do theater in drag. But if you’ve been in theater as a boy for years and then all of the sudden start doing drag to get on the show, I think you have to prove yourself ten times harder to Ru. What do you guys think?

Ella's injury and wardrobe issues caused her to flop so the win was definitely most deserved. Krystal ate those girls up in the final two numbers. There wasn't any way they were calling either of the other two's names after that finale showcase.
It broke my heart. I just keep remembering her saying she had a hard time accepting her asian features and believing she was beautiful because the standard of beauty she kept seeing growing up didn't look like her. I wish she could've known how beautiful her face was naturally and been representation for self-acceptance for asian youth herself... been the person she needed to see growing up... regardless, she's still beautiful inside and out. My heart goes out to her.
