I don't recommend it. It was very hard to control and the guide didn't stay attached. It's mostly just for a clean edge anyway which could be accomplished with good control of a sharp chisel and some patience.

I had the same question. I don't have a router- i didn't know you could attach a router bit to a screw driver.
