This is the best show for restoring anything that comes to your work desk. I am so happy I have found your channel because it's just that awesome plus it comes with a cooking segment...
You sir, turn junk into jewels. I have to admire and respect a man (or woman) that will show you their failures as well as their successes. And you keep your sense of humor throughout. You have made a subscriber out of me. And you can bet on the fact that I'll be trying out your recipes... You are truly a craftsman and chef. Thank you. (I'll get back to you on the chef part)..
I think it was made in eastern India, in a village called Saraon, and the maker called the knife: "England Polis" (Police), i.e., "English Police Knife."
I’m an individual from the US that doesn’t laugh very often. This had me giggling and smiling like I did when I was in grade school. Genuinely entertaining content, my friend! If I had to describe your content in one word, it would be “adorkable” which, for those not familiar with made up words in English, is a combination of adorable and dork, dork being used in an endearing sense to describe someone silly and playful. Apologies if you know this already, I just don’t know how good your English is, plus the slang we use can be pretty ridiculous. Have a good one to all!
Wow! Fantastic skills on the Leather Sheath. It came out beautiful. Where else can you come for a restoration and get a comedy show and dinner.😃 Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy watching your videos
Алекс,чтоб Вам быть живым и здоровым 120 лет...у меня от Вашего видео слюни начали течь. Работа хорошая и готовка тоже... ещё немножко и запах мяса из телефона пойдет 😂
As always a perfect restoration, I appreciate your talent including the leather work; keep up the fine job. I look forward to future restorations and recipes. 👍🏼👍🏼
You did an excellent job of recovering that knife from the scrap pile. While I am _not_ a fan of short-tanged 'survival' knives, you did a very good job of increasing it's reliability. 👍 Spot-on job with the creation of proper sheaf as well. 👍👍 I'm guessing that the personalized engraving on the one side of the blade was an 'extra'...I'm sure there's an interesting story behind it. 😊
The first thing you learn about Alex is that he is not a vegetarian. I don't eat pork but that looked really good. Great job on the knife, thanks for the videos. 😎
доброе утро товарищ . Each time you give new life to the metal that seems to have become a skeleton of itself. I renew the comments. Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹 postscript: sorry for my limited russian
One of the best knives I’ve seen and your leather work just amazing. I would find a lions head made from brass and put it on top of the stunning handle. Love your cooking that pork looks fantastic and I bet it tasted great 👍👍👍😊😊😊♥️
That is what I call a wall hanger. Pretty to look at, but not much else. I always prefer a full tang. Never liked rat tail tangs, much less what ever kind of tang they call that. Got caught on a boot knife that was built like that in my youth. Broke it first time I used it to try and make a tent stake in the woods. A shame too because the profile of the blade is gorgeous. Be safe.
Hello, first of all I would like to congratulate you on your incredible work, because I see it and I know that you do it superior... you are a true craftsman of iron, wood and leather... it is amazing to see the whole process, even when you have to repeat some part of the piece... I am a fan of bladed weapons and I do some restoration but it is nothing compared to your process from start to finish... you also give it that touch of humor (beep, beep...) that I at least like a lot... I will continue watching your videos, greetings from Almeria in Spain... pd. A suggestion, why don't you activate the automatic subtitles in several languages? I understand some English but....
For me, this is the best restoration channel. There is restoration, humor, jokes, delicious recipes and outings to nature. Thank you very much!!♥️🙏👍
Thank you so much!
Same for me. 😉
