Yes, me too! Hillsong was being discovered in the mid 90’s. Our church, sang lots of their songs! Out church grew in a matter of 2-3 years. Hillsong at that time was directly lifting His name up! Songs telling how much He is FIRST and how much we love Him! Songs that EXALT HIM ! With sweet aroma worship unto His throne! Now Hillsong, songs are not focused on exalting Him.

So her name is Miriam..? Thank you so much...wonder if it's possible she's still around 17 years later..most singers..even the best..don't always go that long. Usually Christian singers are sensitive to the Lord's leading about doing things for the season He is leading in..so probably not.

Powerful worship and praise song indeed.I listen to it several times in a day and I get refreshed spiritually besides enjoying the sweetness of Mirriam and Darlene's voices. I just keep on Falling inlove with Jesus and i always look to Him. HE IS WORTHY. Worthy of PRAISE and worship. I give my life of full surrender to Him. I make Jesus the Lord over my life. He saved me. Jesus! He gave me joy! He is the source of my complete JOY! I look to God in prayer when i'm on my knees. I'm always in awe of His word everyday, and Praise Him at all times, and times when His word gives me HOPE AND STRENGTH. He gives me wisdom that i know how to handle things through the Lord's mighty hand. He is worthy. He is lovely and i just keep falling inlove. In all seasons of my life, He is Lord and He is God. I fail many times but that does not stop me from keeping on to my God-given destiny. His grace is sufficient for me to renew my strenth and His word is my sword. I want to be where God is, all the times and i will never turn my back from Him ever again, because when i did, i was always devastated and my desires were temporary. God really is the one who satisfies, I always find exceeding Joy with Him

Miriam and Darlene are really good friends in reality. They often talked about who sang the songs they had written. In the documentary of Blessed, for example, Miriam said she preferred Darlene sang Made Me Glad. In the doc of God He Reigns, they exchanged songs: Miriam wasn’t supposed to sing any song in the album (she is kinda reserved in that aspect if you ask me), and Darlene asked her to sing Saviour (written by Darlene) and then Darlene sang Welcome In This Place (written by Miriam). As you see, it is not something juicy to know; it’s just two friends who share things and respect each other’s gifts: Darlene is an excellent worship leader and Miriam is an outstanding songwriter.

Agreed! Darls already leads almost the whole vocals in this album! She could have left this one for Miriam ❤️
