@@jyutzler owls of minerva are insane too. You can get suzeranity of every single city state and get 2 policy slots. With merchant confederation card your gold income will be insane
Can the next civ be scientific Arabia? Fully utilizing the last prophet ability by ignoring religion untill all cities have campuses and holy sites, focusing science early on. So you can instantly get your religion spread everywhere, then just buy the worship building to enhance science culture faith.

Yeah, i do not know what is with the spawning of the secret societies . . Some i get at the first opportunity, others i do not find utill the game is almost over
I'm a lil bored with Trajan but OK. Pillaging the road to prevent infiltration was cool. I don't think I've ever pillaged a road on purpose before. I don't think the risk was that great because the city would flip to you anyway, but maybe the AI will pick a bad tile. I have no idea why you don't accept aid requests. It costs nothing, the AI almost never participates, and at worst it is free DF. I know you're going for SV but I want to see someone get DV before the World's Fair completes (without apocalypse mode). I will watch closely how the preserves work out for you. I am weak at exploiting preserves.
I agree with you on the aid requests. One thing that I do see even the best guys do is accept DELEGATIONS early game. It's not a huge difference but the higher diplomatic visibility rating does give a small battle advantage and on Deity you need all the help you can get in those early wars. I don't accept delegations or embassies unless I know for sure I am going to be friends with a civilization. Speaking of the relations, I have started just going no higher than friends any more because of the spying advantage. I know there are bonuses from alliances but to me it's not worth it.
That's an interesting point. I've shied away from European civs on the TSL map (other than Portugal who is clearly S-tier) because it is so crowded but if you can grab all of the CS settlers and find a spot for them, you're in great shape.
@@jyutzler I typically play random my friends, but ya Europe is insanely busy. I wish it had a Europe made bigger map like earlier civs did. also had games where I couldn't even settle on the same map

How did you get so many settlers for the cities?
ancestral hall and colonization and just built them
I dunno the new earth map I stole the settlers of 4 city states before turn 15

@@nostrum6410 Maps can be realistic or fun but not both. Imagine spawning as Maya and having to migrate 10+ tiles to find a suitable spot.
