I like this theory, but it's a bit weird. For example, Ganji in the CoA5 story appears as Sheriff, who's pursuing opposition. And then he got sick of that job and decided to become an actor instead? :D Ig, all CoA stories are in different universes though

COA gets better in animation so well. I really enjoy every year seeing these new animations Netease develops and for the first time seeing a hunter trying to save the survivors and not destroy them like the other COAs (Not to mention it was gory at first……scary)

From my understanding- at the start they're basicslly filming a movie- and in the movie Andrew and Melly get fatalitied- but then Andrew and Melly realide that Wu chang ain't playing and has genuinely gone ape shit full cthulu cult mode and everything gets attacked by tentacles
The animation is so much better omg.. but tbh I do miss when the survivors had that woven texture on their skin instead of that smoothness, it made them look more like dolls it was cool
After regaining my intrest in idv and seeing one of my favorites will get a costume in the new COA, it makes me so excited!!! I cant wait to see what theyll make this year!

I don't know if its just me or this coa season theme reminds me of Junji Ito's "Remina". It's whole theme felt so familiar and it snapped when I compared the two myself.
