Just wanted to say to you. I've been binge watching your channel for months now. I can't recall another person that seems so humble in his humility and thoughtfulness in your videos. You sir are the real deal, my gratitude for all you have done with your excellent and informative videos has lead me to purchase the exact tractor you have. I thank you. The misses thanks you for all the work I've done for her and lastly, my back thanks you. Again, you are an inspiration to listen to and learn from. Take care, from Washington state.
Good morning and thanks so very kindly for the words this morning Dave. And for the support! You just made my day! LOL. Hope you are happy with the tractor - it is kind of funny, how quickly the to-do list grows once you get it. :)) Mine too. I just have to get back at finishing those trails in the forest I promised her. So much left to do. But I will get it done for sure. Thanks again - all the best to you and your family!
I agree!!! I need to be more like you. And because of your video I bought a flail mower!!!! Haha. How many flails have been bought because of your video???? I wonder
I was looking at the Land Pride PF20 clamp-ons. Seemed handy to have some forks, and keep my bucket functionality for multi-tasking a chore. Not being able to see what I'm picking up kills it. Embarrassingly obvious, but I din't consider it until you mentioned it. Thanks!
Just found your channel. I learned from some other tractor owner friends, that pallet forks weren’t a “maybe”, they are a “MUST”, right out of the gate! So, when I purchased MY tractor, it was loader, grapple AND, QA pallet forks!! One of my friends started with clamp ons and soon went to the QA as well. The clamp ons were a hand me down from his friend so it served more so to convince him of the value of QA. Now, as you note, if you have a bolt on bucket, you may not have the choice but, if you do have QA, bite the bullet and just go full frame independent QA forks. The uses for them are surprisingly too many to list! Great assessment of yours…I’m looking forward to checking out some more of your episodes!! Thanks for sharing!!
Great explanation and rationale for you choice of pallet forks, GP! My forks were acquired a bit differently... Like you I research everything, make tables and spreadsheets, watch videos... if there’s info out there, I try to find it. After countless hours of research for almost a year, last summer (as you know), I ordered the L4060 with loader, backhoe, brush hog, rear blade, and grapple - all Kubota, except for the grapple (HLA). The salesman asked if I’d like to add pallet forks... suggested Walco 2000 lb - decent design at a good price and in stock. No, said I... don’t really see that I need them. A few weeks later, the truck/trailer arrived at my driveway with everything, but with a set of pallet forks mounted to the tractor. I asked the driver, Joe, why he brought forks, since I didn’t order them. He said that was to help him unload everything and he’d take them back with him. I then watched him put those forks to use as he handily unload all the attachments, placing things where I wanted in the yard. As he was finishing up, I realized that every time I’d want to move any of those attachments around, I’d either have to mount it to the tractor or fuss with straps or chains. He was about to drop the forks back onto the trailer when I mentioned how handy those darn forks were. Yep, he said.... sure are! After a pause, he added “Those are new forks right out of stock... I could just leave them here and you could settle up with Shawn (the sales guy) later”. Needless to say, the forks never went back on the trailer. Realizing I’d been had by one of the most clever unspoken “sales job” I’d ever seen, and to ME - a guy who NEVER buys something of that dollar value spontaneously, I asked Joe as he was leaving how many pallet forks they sold that way. He fired up the truck, said “oh... about 7 out of 10 times I bring them with a kit like yours”. He winked a drove away. And not once have I regretted it!
Good day GP ! Very well made informative video Sir !!! Joe had kindly suggested to pass me last year his set of pallets fork and I kindly told him that, no I was OK without them for my pole shed project,,,, but Joe persisted and bring his set directly to my home !!! 👍 HO boy !!! that I was way wrong on the left field.😂 These well Joe's home built set of Pallets Forks were so handy for me to use at any steps of my construction and more than anticipated for !!! I even used them to removed a big maple tree stump !!! They will be very useful also for moving big rocks and your lumber for your new barn for sure !!! Keep up the good work and you too and all your family take care and stay safe and sound !!! Cheers !!!👌
Good morning Dave! I think so too. Lots of great uses for them for sure. Hope you are keeping well. Sorry I am a little behind and need to catch up on your videos soon. Take care my friend!
@@GPOutdoors Good morning GP !!! Please do not be worry about missing my poor video's, I suggest to you can even skip a lots of my video's Sir !!! LOL BUT ! your's are always outstanding one's and I won't miss any one of them for the hole word !!! Cheers and can't wait to see you video on Saturday !!!
Good information. Excellent choice. Good job of evaluation and narrowing things down to make the best choice for you. That's the way to do it! Great video. Best of luck.
Good afternoon Gord, great job on the Land Pride Pallet Forks. You did a great job researching just what you wanted. Glad you got them, it’s much better having a separate set than the clamp on type. Seems everyone is so proud of how much their tractor can lift but go blank about the lifting capacity and capability of the clamp on forks and then blame it on everyone else !! I believe it was in the instructions?? You covered everything really good, be safe out there and remember (ICE IS OUT GONE FISHING) 😉👍👍🍻
LOL! It won't be long before the boats are out in the mornings and the rods are hanging over the sides, out there Fred! Thanks - you're right - it's in the manual. LOL. Hope you are keeping well. Keep smiling and take good care!
Best money spent! When I bought my b2601 I ordered it with a mmm, fel and forks. I’ve used the forks more then the bucket! Lol. Have a good one and stay safe!
Woods,Wallenstein and land pride, you can't go wrong, buy cheap, buy twice, good choice GP.I beat my pallet forks all the time on things I shouldn't on jobsites, and they just keep lifting.I run them on skidsteer and tractor, pushing, pulling, and lifting, and yes,the highback version is the most useful.
You did it again. Great video, great info. I love the fact that you include your thought process and the lesson's learned in every videos. You are methodical in your approach and very open with all information provided. Thanks for taking the time to prepare those quality videos and sharing your experience with all of us. This is the perfect example of a constructive utilization of the power of reaching and sharing on the internet. Thanks
Hi Gord! Very glad to see you have upgraded to SSQA pallet forks! I have loved having mine. It’s so nice to be able to quickly drop the bucket and put on the forks, and vise versa. Great job on covering the pro’s & cons of clamp-on and SSQA forks! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
Good morning and thanks Martin! Very handy so far - I've used them a few times this week already. Hope you and your family are doing well. Take good care!
GP, love your channel ive been watching it since I started researching tractors about 20 months ago. It was a huge factor in the purchase of my tractor last year. I too got a B2601! No regrets so far had it for 16 months. I sprung for backhoe, box blade, post hole digger, grapple and these exact pallet forks! I honestly use the pallet forks way more then I ever thought. You provide a wealth of information and rational discussion. Keep Doing what your doing!
Another well done video! Excellent research and information on pallet forks. You have saved many tractor owners a lot of time and possibly some buying the wrong size/capacity pallet forks. Thank you for the through review! 👍
Good video comparing the two types of pallet forks. My first ones were the clamp on to the FEL. I quickly found out trying to keep them on and straight was a problem even tightening them down as much as I could. The second thing is the thickness of the tines which are thicker than the QA forks and the third naturally is the potential damage to the bucket. I bought a QA set of forks and there is none of the problems I had with the other set except the visibility of the tips of the forks sitting in the seat. Standing i can see them. I use mine quite often and is one of the best additional implements I have for my B2650. All the best.
Good morning and thanks for sharing your experiences Gary. I'm happy I have these now, too - used them several times already this past week. Be well and stay safe out there!
Hi Gord. I had to laugh at the B2601 outline that mother nature left. Sort of like a dead body chalk outline. Lol Like many have mentioned, the SSQA forks are indispensable. I built some in the fall using 2x4 steel channels and the SSQA bracket. I have been using the forks every week this winter to bring my wood box from the wood shed to the house. I also used the forks with my logs to cut them up off the ground.
Love your channel, and videos like this are the reason why. I've got a B2301 being delivered hopefully next week, and need pallet forks. I knew you'd have the perfect video! Thanks for making your content!
Thanks very much Lisa and congrats on the new tractor! You must be super excited! I'm still very very happy with these forks. All the best - let me know how it is going from time to time!
As always, your videos are wonderfully informative and beautifully made. From one of your southern brothers, thank you for the energy you spend on theses videos. I have been enjoying your work for a long time.
Excellent buy GP. LP had to have made that model specifically for the 2601/2650. I bought the same one for my 2650 last summer when they first came out and wouldn't change a single thing. You'll love it. I can't believe it took you this long to finally consider my recommendation... Hah!
Excellent video Gord . Buying from the US can be more expensive and a big pain sometimes . Servicing equipment can become almost impossible . It's like buying a boat or what ever where you live but using it practically the whole time at the cottage . If you have a problem a dealer in your cottage area is not going to put you in the fast lane to help you out . People who bought from him will come first for service . You made a great choice in pallet forks . 1200 ib capacity is good enough for what you have . That extended cage would have sold me on those forks along . I have driven a fork lift many times on my job and the extended cage can be a life saver. Nothing beats a fork lift tractor when lifting things. They can turn a 90 degree angle corner like nothing . LOL At least now you don't have to ratchet your bucket and don't have to worry about that smiley face . The shorter forks are a good pick . Don't know how many times I've seen guys drive the forks into the side of a building because they didn't adjust for the length of the forks . Longer forks though are great for unloading items from a truck trailer . Take care .
Good morning Henry! Thanks for the info and views. I think so too. Was not sure about length but figured 42" would be enough for me. Seems to be working out just fine this week. Hope you are keeping busy and all is going well. Have a good one and talk again soon!
That's a nice looking set of forks, but i smile when I see how many stickers LARKIN has plastered all over that attachment; they don't want you to forget who made these , do they? hahaha I was 'in the same boat' as you were when I bought my Kioti tractor,..I sure do need a set of forks, they are, now, one of the most used attachments I use . You'll enjoy having those,..money well spent I think!
LOL! Good morning Reg! I am really happy with them so I always tell them to put some stickers on the equipment. They have been wonderful dealers. Thanks - I think so too. Very happy I have the forks now. Be well and all the best!
I bought Ttitan pallet forks for my tractor and I love them and use them all the time. One thing I have done is to screw a piece of plywood on a pallet so I have a mobil work surface. It is perfect to work on a lawn mower or snowblower or other things at the perfect height.
How's she goin'? Your research and diligence is well worth the effort. Attachments are not cheap, so it's wise to enter into the search for the right attachment with as much information as you can get so that you can make the best decision. Looks like that technique worked for you. I hope these forks work good for you. Take care and thank for sharing!!!
Good explanation of the forks. I built my frame because of wanting it a certain style that wasn’t offered and bought the actual forks to go on it. Later added a removable grapple to the frame for logs and brush. I will use forks probably 75% more then the bucket.
That's great K&H! Always nice to be able to build something - always seems to mean a lot more when you can put your own work into it. Cheers and all the best!
You made a good choice on that set of forks. They will work perfectly for you and you’ll get tons of use out of them. I have a set of 2000 pound forks on my 55hp kioti and I find they’re on the tractor the majority of the time compared to the bucket. I now have a skid steer and the forks are compatible with it as well. I love that quick attach system!
That's great Eric! Good choice for sure - using them on both is a big bonus. Good thing you chose the 2,000 lb ones. Nice! Take care and have a great week out there!
Hey GP!! I just got a set of pallet forks when I bought my chipper. I chose to go with a heavier duty set than you have, because I thought they would be easier to sell, or easier to keep if I ever upgrade to an even larger tractor! Or maybe a friend (like Guy) would want to borrow them who has a larger tractor or skidsteer. Because I bought them with the chipper, shipping cost was the same. Great job doing your research! You will love them, I already love mine. The no visibility issue was the main reason I didn't like the clamp on forks but for some folks, that is the best option. Glad to see the lake is open! Cheers!
Hi Michael! Good stuff. I think we are building together. LOL. You are going to be busy this summer. I am sure you have a growing chores list and will be a lot of fun getting outdoors to get them done with the right equipment. Take care and all the best!
Thanks! I'm waiting for my B2601 and I just changed the order to switch from the fixed loader to the quick release. There is no forks in stock for now but I can wait.
Good morning John. I am happy to hear that. I promise it is worth the wait - it is a must-have these days - so simple to swap out attachments. Big game changer for you. Good luck and hope it comes soon. Take care and Congrats!
Great video. I liked watching your decision processes. I've found that the forks and the bucket compete head to head for the most used implements on the tractor.
Nice forks Gordon. Forks are one of my most used attachments. Amazing what you can do with them and sure are handy. Was the same as you, that the extra height of the forks are important and have save the load coming over the forks several times especially when moving logs. Won’t have a set without the high back. Those look nice and you will find yourself using them a lot. Great video
Thanks Bob! Appreciate the comments - I think so too. I noticed all the 2,000 lb capacity forks (or most) also had a high back on them so I figured it was pretty important. Take good care and all the best!
Appreciate your review of pallet forks. I got mine when I bought the tractor. Great investment. Mine were made by HLA and are made right here in Ontario. Hear you about driving over uneven ground. Had a few ops moments moving full pallets of firewood around. I have even purchased an adaptor from Worksaver to mount the forks onto the 3 point hitch. Much more stable and gives me a higher lifting capacity for moving pallets full of firewood.
Good day L! Yes, i was very close to getting the HLA ones - same manufacturer as my grapple and I really like the grapple. Well built equipment. I thought about the 3 pt hitch ones but figured, with my back etc, it was better to get them for the front. Thanks for the comments this morning. Weather is getting better so we will have lots to keep us busy for a while now. Take good care!
Hi GP, Wise decision that you made getting a regular set of pallet forks. My guess is that they will be on the tractor 75% of the time. I've used clamp on ones before. They are good in a pinch, but they won't compare to having a regular set. I like the Land Pride set that you got. I'm guessing that being lighter, they are made from high tensile steel, stronger and less weight. Not an issue on a big machine, but with your Kubota, definitely something to consider! FYI, I finally got around to ordering some GP Outdoors coffee mugs! Perfect for watching your videos! Cheers, Stay Safe!
Good morning Tom! Yup, I think you are right. I have been using them all week actually - still sitting on the front as I type. LOL. Thanks so kindly - hope you enjoy the mugs! Be well and take good care out there!
Good move, GP. You've already seen how versatile forks are so a wise choice made. Land Pride has some excellent implements. As said, I want my implements to last as long or longer than my tractor. Full-watch and enjoyed the well-done presentation. Have a fine week.
@@GPOutdoors GP, that's not an issue. Once a Videographer gets more than 1000 subscribers, it's very difficult to keep track. Continue to move forward and enjoy the UA-cam ride, my friend. Be safe and enjoy.
Sound logic in your choice. Never buy an implement that us above your lifting capacity as it could potentially injure you or damage your tractor. Cheers GP be safe!
Great breakdown of the process behind your purchase decision. As well as a 1926 Fordson F (currently undergoing 'Rustoration'I have a BX23s and will be purchasing these forks soon. Thanks for the time you took to make this video.
Another very well thought out, informative, clear and concise video GP! I continue to admire how you put your videos together and the information contained within. I already have pallet forks for my compact tractor and went through these same questions and research when I bought mine and only wish I would have had your video to watch back then. So, I shared your video to my father-in-law who really needs to get a set of forks for his tractor! I find your content entertaining and as a viewer and influential as a wanna-be content creator. I hope you don't mind if some of your style creeps into the way I make videos, because it is starting to already. Keep it up!
Good morning and thanks for the comment this morning Neil. And for the kind words. Hope the video helps your father-in-law. LOL. No problem at all - wish you all the best! Cheers!
Hi Gord, I really enjoyed this video on pallet forks. I think they are a “Must have” implement for anyone with a tractor. You brought up some valid points on the clamp on vs. the quick attach and also on the use of pallet forks in general. I use pallet forks at work quite a bit with the Bobcat tractor and I would love to have a set of my own for use here at the hacienda with my own Kubota. They are next on my list of things to get for my L3901:)!
Thank you for confirming the same questions I’ve been asking myself while researching pallet forks. I have the same tractor and I have been leaning towards the land pride forks with the high frame as well. I enjoy watching your videos. Keep em coming
Hi GP! I bought the same ones with my B2650 and they stay on my FEL most of the time. Fun fact, you can fit a shackle (1/2” I believe) in the holes along the top of the guard. I use them w/ rigging straps for a more secure fit that ratchets, or even to do light lifting.
Hey good morning and thanks for the great advice and info Matt! That's a great idea. Appreciate you sharing with me. I will see if I have any to put in there and if not, I'll grab one or two at Princess Auto. Thanks again and have a great week!
excellent analysis GP. I went with bolt on forks for by BX23s because it has a bolt on FEL and of course it has a smaller lifting capacity so bolt on forks work for me. Limited sight picture is somewhat of an issue but I tend to be cautious when using the forks to lift heavier weights. Have a great week and stay well. Cheers
Congrats! You’re going to love your forks. They are pretty much the only implement I have on my FEL. The only reason my bucket is scratched up is for moving in around with my forks!
GP, You do make really great videos. They definitely keep my interest. I never thought about getting forks for my FEL, but you have put the information and intrest out there! Good stuff! Thanks.
I picked up a set of pallet forks from Everything Attachments that is very similar to yours. Thought of it as a luxury purchase that I would not really use much. Boy was I wrong! I use the pallet forks as much or more than any other implement. Great video. Thanks!
Hey good day David! Great to hear from you. Me too - didn't realize how practical and useful they are until I had some. Hope you and your family are doing well. All the best and take good care!
Great video Gord ! I picked up the Land Pride PFL 2042 for by B2601 because I think there will also be a cab L Series in my future. The B2601 is great but I also need a Grand L 4760 for some other chores. Keep making great videos.
Sounds great! Good thinking on the purchase Brian! That makes a lot of sense. And another tractor is always a great addition. :)) Be well and thanks for tuning in!
Gord, your channel is busting my wallet! Every time I think I have too many attachments for my tractor, you come up with something I didn't know I needed so badly. At this rate, I am worried that you will persuade me to buy a new Kubota to replace my 25 year old Case. Stay safe!
You'll be happy with your decision to get a set of forks, a big step up from the clamp on style. I drilled a hole at the front of my forks to accept a trailer ball. It's a great way to move equipment around. Roger must have had a few extra stickers. They're are good people to deal with.
Great discussion of your decision making. I went through the same process last summer and ended up making the same decision (Landpride PF1242) for my BX23s. I find that I use the pallet forks about half the time. Actually, just used them last week to transplant two 20 foot trees.
Nice logical decision-making process on the forks! I did not think about strapping things to the fork headache rack . . . I did save $300 bucks with the other brand...lol
Luckily I'm fortunate enough to have both a larger utility tractor (Kubota M9540) as well as a B2650, and as I've gotten older I've really learned to appreciate having hydraulics to help me keep up with the younger version of myself. Both loaders are set up with the quick-attach and over the past several years I've found that I use my loader mounted crane attachment even more than I use the pallet forks.
Hey good morning TK! I have never heard of a crane attachment - that sounds pretty creative. I will take a look into them over a coffee to see what they are etc. some time. Hope you are doing well - have a great week!
I got the Landpride forks for my Bx2380, and they take half my lift capacity. I’ve fabricated a set using bale forks that are 200# lighter and fit the machine well. Now I can lift 500# with the loader.
Good evening Gp good looking forks the high Guard is pretty good but the big thing is were all the ice on the lake it seems like Spring is coming for same people lol. Have a good day
GP great video as usual good job on all the explanations of all the pros and cons. Pallet forks are going to be my next purchase for the John Deere 5045e. I’m looking for QA style not the clamp on just don’t think I would be 100% pleased based on many of the same reasons you mentioned. Take care brother
Your timing is about the same as mine. I have those bucket forks like you ,well different brand BUT I just picked up a set of Titan pallet forks. What a great attachment. Love your videos and keep them coming. Feel free to check the titan forks video I just put on my side if you want. Great purchase they are. Have fun with yours, Till the next one
Excellent review and lots of good information to help others in their decision process. I've got a set of pallet forks for the fel with self leveling that makes carrying stuff easy. I also fabricated a set of forks for the rear 3 point, between the two forks you can carry a lot of things, mainly firewood for me.
That is really informative! Indeed, the frame going higher than the back of the tines is very helpful. In the future, I would be curious to see what is the view from your seat on those tines. Thanks!
Good assessment on the forks you bought. I probably will get forks too, but my tractor is a 100 HP cab tractor so I'll have different requirements I'm sure.
Those Forks look good, great choice. Your lake is beautiful, maybe when the fishing ban is over you could do some critiques for fishing gear and trolling motors, even small fishing boats.
LOL! I can't argue with that, Kent! Love the grapple. Great attachment for the tractor. It's my most used attachment. Thanks for watching- have a good one!
Good assessments and good choice! I like that attachment! I've sure been glad that I've had my clamp on forks, but I'd love to upgrade to QA system... Really wished our two great countries would make it easier to do business with less taxes/fees, it'd be great for all of us!👍☺
GP my friend, how is it you know what I'm needing more info on?!? lol I've started looking into getting a set of forks, think they'll for sure come in handy. Thanks for the video and the info, lots to consider so always helpful hearing from others. Have a good one, Splitter Wars is almost here! 😀👍🍻
LOL Dan! Its cause we both haven't had new tractors for too long, so we are probably going through the same thoughts and experiences. :)) Good luck on your search and talk to you soon!
A hole near the end of each fork is useful for putting a pin to prevent chain from slipping off. The top of the pin will fit in a ball hitch of a trailer to position a trailer.
Good analysis. I think pallet forks are a necessity. I probably use the forks 30% of the time. Mine are 42 inch sometimes I think the 36 might have been enough. They only have 3 available positions on each side on center. There have been a couple on times I could have used more adjustment.
Good video. I do suggest when one is researching attachments to speak with tractor dealer for their advice as well. They may give you some advice to better help make your decision. Some forks are just plain better suited for a particular tractor model.
Hey good evening Ed! Yup, I hear everything is so delayed now. Hang in there. Hope you and your wonderful family (who I got to see on your last video) are doIng great! If I were you ( and I'm not), I would invite them all over for a barbeque this Sunday, and fancy up some tasty food for them. LOL!
Nice video! I went through the same journey, clamp on when I had a pin on bucket, but after I adapted my loader to SSQA, I invested in Artilllian forks/frame. Chose them for the light weight and the ability to add their grapple someday (plus they are only 12 miles from my office...)

Very funny story! Clever guy! Still laughing!
I had the exact same experience. Been totally satisfied with my Land Pride forks since.
HAHAHAH... awesome story, I wonder if they will do that when my BX23s is delivered in two weeks ;)

LOL BUT ! your's are always outstanding one's and I won't miss any one of them for the hole word !!! Cheers and can't wait to see you video on Saturday !!!
Thanks so very kindly Dave. I enjoy seeing you! Take care!
Good information. Excellent choice. Good job of evaluation and narrowing things down to make the best choice for you. That's the way to do it! Great video. Best of luck.
Last year I bought the same pallet forks for my B2601. And I use them all the time.
Good video. Of great points about not over-buying.
Don't spend more money than you need to...
Don't add more weight than you need to...
Best money spent! When I bought my b2601 I ordered it with a mmm, fel and forks. I’ve used the forks more then the bucket! Lol. Have a good one and stay safe!
LOL! That's great to hear Mitch. Good stuff. Take care out there!
Nicely done. I appreciate the background on why you chose this set and the details on the things you considered.
Thank you very much! Cheers THS!
LOL. Excellent point - best to save a little more and get good quality, I think. Thanks and have a great week!
Same ones I bought for my B2650....love them!!
Nice!
Another well done video! Excellent research and information on pallet forks. You have saved many tractor owners a lot of time and possibly some buying the wrong size/capacity pallet forks. Thank you for the through review! 👍
Thank you very much! Hope it does help few folks. Take care and all the best CR!
Lol
Like many have mentioned, the SSQA forks are indispensable. I built some in the fall using 2x4 steel channels and the SSQA bracket. I have been using the forks every week this winter to bring my wood box from the wood shed to the house. I also used the forks with my logs to cut them up off the ground.
Good stuff Alain! Happy I have some now. Take care !
Buying forks for my L3902 was the best choice ever!!
Great information. You make some great videos. I have a Kubota and I love the videos and your ideas. Please keep them coming.
Thanks so much. Have a great week!
I do like the way you explain the pros and cons of the equipment you use/purchase. Thanks
I appreciate that! Thanks DA! Take care!
Good morning and thanks very kindly Jeff! I am very happy you enjoy them. And I appreciate your support - have a wonderful week out there- Cheers!
Excellent buy GP. LP had to have made that model specifically for the 2601/2650. I bought the same one for my 2650 last summer when they first came out and wouldn't change a single thing. You'll love it. I can't believe it took you this long to finally consider my recommendation... Hah!
LOL. Good morning Brett! Well, you know me - I'm kind of stubborn. But I eventually get there :)) Cheers and have a good one!
Good place for a led light bar...like the quick attach feature.. 👍
That's an interesting idea David! Thanks - I had not thought of that. Cheers and all the best!
That's a nice looking set of forks, but i smile when I see how many stickers LARKIN has plastered all over that attachment; they don't want you to forget who made these , do they? hahaha
I was 'in the same boat' as you were when I bought my Kioti tractor,..I sure do need a set of forks, they are, now, one of the most used attachments I use .
That's a great idea Doug! Thanks for sharing it. Makes a lot of sense. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Grampie! I think I made the right decision on this one. Take good care !
I took delivery yesterday for the same exact forks for my B2301 yesterday GP for all the same reasons!! How ironic...great minds think alike!!
LOL Thomas! Indeed. :)) Cheers!
Nice choice. I think in the long run you will be happy you broke down and got the forks.
I think so too! Cheers Wayne!
Thanks Terry! I have been using them all week. Really happy I have them now. Take care!
I use my pallet forks 3 to 1 over my bucket, what a back saver!
They are awesome, you are going to love them. Cheers
Hope so! Cheers Hughie!
Hi GP,
Wise decision that you made getting a regular set of pallet forks.
Good day Houndsman! Hope you are doing well. Sorry I am a bit behind - need to catch up on your latest video! Take care my friend!
Thanks Sean! Hope all is well with you. Have a great week!
Thanks for the thorough purchase analysis
very well explained for those looking to buy some forks someday
Thanks IR! Cheers!
Outstanding informational video! You are awesome to listen to and I thoroughly enjoyed your channel Thank you.
Cheers!
As usual great video and excellent job on describing how you went about picking the implement the best suits your needs.
Thanks so much Donald! All the best!
That was really good, man. Thanks a ton for my more pin pointed focus thanks to you. A++
Good morning ! Happy it helped. All the best!
Hi Gord,
I really enjoyed this video on pallet forks.
Morning Tony. Happy it was helpful. Good luck with your decision! ( and yes, I am very happy with these forks and very happy I got the high frame)
Great, well thought out analysis. Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks!
excellent analysis GP. Cheers
Good morning and thanks Roy! Cheers!
Well done, clean review. Thanks for doing the research for us.
Thanks. This put my pallet fork research on fast forward.
Congrats! You’re going to love your forks. They are pretty much the only implement I have on my FEL. The only reason my bucket is scratched up is for moving in around with my forks!
LOL! Thanks Stephen!
GP, You do make really great videos.
They definitely keep my interest. I never thought about getting forks for my FEL, but you have put the information and intrest out there!
Good stuff! Thanks.
Thanks so very much John! I am happy you are enjoying them. Take good care and talk to you again soon!
All the best and take good care!
kubota and landpride are partners in the company wich are well build
Stay safe!
LOL! Well that's not a bad idea. :))) Thanks - I will. You too - all the best!
You'll be happy with your decision to get a set of forks, a big step up from the clamp on style.
I drilled a hole at the front of my forks to accept a trailer ball. It's a great way to move equipment around.
Roger must have had a few extra stickers. They're are good people to deal with.
LOL. They always add a couple for good measure. ;) Great idea about the ball hitch. Take care and all the best, Chris!
Now you did it. I think I need a set of pallet forks and I don't even have a tractor yet.
LOL!
Great discussion of your decision making. I went through the same process last summer and ended up making the same decision (Landpride PF1242) for my BX23s. I find that I use the pallet forks about half the time. Actually, just used them last week to transplant two 20 foot trees.
Thanks Chuck! They have proved to be a very practical and helpful attachment - happy to have the SSQA set now. Hope all is well - take good care!
I just picked up a similar pair or pallet forks myself, Walco 42" rated for 2000 lbs and I believe a Canadian Company, can't wait to put them to work.
Nice Tom! Good stuff. Turned out to be a very handy and practical attachment for me here. Be well and all the best!
Nice logical decision-making process on the forks! I did not think about strapping things to the fork headache rack . . . I did save $300 bucks with the other brand...lol
Hey nothing wrong with saving some dough Daniel! Cheers!
G P we have land pride forks for the BX works perfect no problem yet good luck
God Bless
PaK
Good stuff Peter! Take care!
Excellent video. My trouble in Indiana is my dealer can’t get any landpride forks in.
Well that was another great informative video GP! The products you have showed lately are fantastic. Stay safe up there bud.
Thanks, you too! Cheers Rob!
Good stuff GP, your weather looks way better than what we are having here in northern wisconsin, just got a foot of snow Sun, Mon. Take care.
LOL. I think you sent it my way right after. It's been snowing here for 4 days. I thought it was over. :)) Cheers and all the best Scott!
Good evening Gp good looking forks the high Guard is pretty good but the big thing is were all the ice on the lake it seems like Spring is coming for same people lol. Have a good day
LOL! Happy it is gone now and soon I'll be enjoying warm mornings out there. :))Cheers Denis!
GP great video as usual good job on all the explanations of all the pros and cons. Pallet forks are going to be my next purchase for the John Deere 5045e. I’m looking for QA style not the clamp on just don’t think I would be 100% pleased based on many of the same reasons you mentioned. Take care brother
Thanks 👍 ! Good luck - looking forward to watching your splitter video this morning Ben! Cheers!
Thanks KHR! Take good care!
Excellent review and lots of good information to help others in their decision process. I've got a set of pallet forks for the fel with self leveling that makes carrying stuff easy. I also fabricated a set of forks for the rear 3 point, between the two forks you can carry a lot of things, mainly firewood for me.
Hey good morning and thanks Mark! I'll bet that makes short work of hauling it back from the forest. Nice! Hope you are keeping well - Cheers!
That is really informative! Indeed, the frame going higher than the back of the tines is very helpful. In the future, I would be curious to see what is the view from your seat on those tines. Thanks!
Great idea! I will include that view in an upcoming video at some point. Much better sightline for sure, Joe! Talk to you soon!
Good assessment on the forks you bought. I probably will get forks too, but my tractor is a 100 HP cab tractor so I'll have different requirements I'm sure.
Good day Richard! Yup, I think you'll be needing something different. LOL. Be well and have a great week!
Great video GP, I use my pallet forks a lot more than I every thought I would.
Thanks so much MD! Cheers!
Very good information. Thanks!
Happy it was helpful Pete!
Those Forks look good, great choice. Your lake is beautiful, maybe when the fishing ban is over you could do some critiques for fishing gear and trolling motors, even small fishing boats.
Very informative video... thanks, and G'day from Chillagoe, Australia.👍
Great info, thanks. I need some forks but so far the best implement I have is the grapple. I'm to old to do the hard way.
Really wished our two great countries would make it easier to do business with less taxes/fees, it'd be great for all of us!👍☺
Great point! Me too BB! It should be easier for sure. Take care and keep smiling!
Very useful video. Thank you.
A hole near the end of each fork is useful for putting a pin to prevent chain from slipping off. The top of the pin will fit in a ball hitch of a trailer to position a trailer.
Thanks Jake!
Beautiful Land. A floatplane would look pretty nice tied up to that dock.
And now I know someone who could fly it for me. LOL. Hope you are keeping well Jean! Take good care and all the best!
@@GPOutdoors Thanks, GP. FYI. Set of Landpride pallet forks coming next week.
Nice! Hope you enjoy them. I've used them several times already this week. Take care Jean!
Good info, thank you.
Well done..
You will love them gp👍
Thanks Tony! Take care!
Good analysis. I think pallet forks are a necessity. I probably use the forks 30% of the time. Mine are 42 inch sometimes I think the 36 might have been enough. They only have 3 available positions on each side on center. There have been a couple on times I could have used more adjustment.
Thanks BG! I went with the 42" as well. I think they will work out ok but will see in time for sure. Have a good week out there!
Good morning from Allen and Brenda from canada New Brunswick Have fun day
Morning folks!
Good video. I do suggest when one is researching attachments to speak with tractor dealer for their advice as well. They may give you some advice to better help make your decision. Some forks are just plain better suited for a particular tractor model.
Good morning and thanks Garry! That's really good advice. Enjoy your weekend!
Hey GP. I just ordered a set of 1242's from my dealer. Looks like a 3 month wait!
LOL!
@@GPOutdoors and we can sit in the portable garage 🤣
Nice video! I went through the same journey, clamp on when I had a pin on bucket, but after I adapted my loader to SSQA, I invested in Artilllian forks/frame. Chose them for the light weight and the ability to add their grapple someday (plus they are only 12 miles from my office...)
Good stuff!
Very informative video. Helped me choose
