So just to clarify the practical benefits, if you are someone that just wants the passport but you do not plan to live in Canada beyond the time required to obtain the passport, the only really tangible gain that you will benefit from having a passport/citizenship is visa free entry into countries you want to travel to for holiday (assuming you are a frequent traveller).
Most important benefit of Canadian passport- I can move back to the United States and no longer need to get H-1B stamped every 3 years. I just enter with I-797A (H-1B approval notice) + Canadian passport. If you dont have H-1B you can get TN visa. Apart from that Canada is a useless country, unless you are a blue collar worker coming from India. All my friends who moved from US to Canada moved back to US. Half of them with Canadian passport, half were so frustuated that they could not even wait for 3 years :)

Do I have to get the same ielts score that I had during when I first received NOI for oinp or a slight lower ielts score will work since I already have the nomination now.

COPR cannot be edited as it’s once in a lifetime document. However, you can apply for verification of status and request the changes in it.
