The intention to detail is beyond belief. The engine to the suspension, brakes, interior, gauges including all the small details is off the hook congratulations to everyone that had there hands all over this special 911.
Wow! Amazing. I love when a build looks like not a lot has been changed from a novices perspective but to a enthusiast eye those small well done details set the car far apart from the original.
I’m just flabbergasted that people can put so much energy into something that has such little vision. Congratulations you made a 40 year old car marginally better, ignoring massive leaps forward in every aspect. Dream a little bigger next time.
I usually skim through UA-cam videos I watched this whole thing. This was really well put together from the vid quality to story line. Keep doing what you are doing mate
The car is amazing, fantastic build all around. What is also amazing is how that Goyard crap cheapens the whole thing. Terrible call for my taste, but hey, to each its own.
This build is BEYOND clean. I hope to be able to do something crazy someday, but nothing of this level. I would love to find an e30 that needs some love and completely overhaul it.
Love the camaraderie and skills it takes to build such a car, but I wonder what is all this infinite technology/money and time going to be used for if the car is not going into competition? and will only be used for shows and a few sunny drives around the street? Genuine question.. it seems like a lot but not sure what it's all for?
Beautifully made! Only I would have chosen a chocolate brown upholstery and alcantara. And carbon bumpers, you don’t see the difference when they are painted but they’re lighter and don’t oxidize. And they would not have been more expensive than hand build aluminum ones, and if they do, who cares if you spend this on a restomod.
Love it all except the cheap Goyard plastic looking shiny handbag detailing- ruined it for me entirely. Beautiful engine build- beautifully built- except that detail. Just my opinion- but YUCK!
Yeah, I saw another vid and that dude is so proud of that part. Everyone has their own style and taste and that's what makes the car scene so awesome and diverse, but I just think he could have done something so much better than that.
For me, it's a very fine line between building an awesome car, and building a car so awesome and perfect that you wouldn't want to drive it and diminish the perfection. To me, this car is in the latter category. I guess for me it's moot anyway though, I could never afford it.
It’d be pretty similarly priced as a normal Singer if you get a spot on the waiting list. A mil cheaper than the DLS, but I wouldn’t even call that car a porsche from how much was designed and built from scratch.
Should have had Jae Lee from Mirage intl build a 4.4L flat 6 for this car instead of the 3.8L one of one engine for a one of one car! Super sick build though
from the outside it looks so amazing and the sond is fucking awesome but then you take a look at the interior and it seems like someone took a shit and rubbed it in
I hear ya.......the 40k custom builds of the 90s are gone...lol Singer ruined it all....hot rod 911's were 25-40k all day long many yrs ago.....not now
The interior looks like pineapple husk until you get up close. Not to my liking. The wheels do not fit the car. The engine intake seems questionable. I dunno, maybe keep it simple and save a bunch money?
Several thoughts / questions: 1) Based on experience with the mods to my car, $500K doesn’t seem nearly enough. The build is far too bespoke, there must have been a lot of bartering / calling in favors to achieve that build at that cost. 2) the interior is truly OCD. Even Singer doesn’t make their interiors that prissy. 3) There are serious performance elements to this build. With the lowered ‘pimp my ride’ and the total customization of the body panels, will this car ever see a track? 4) So, all in all, is this build creating a car meant to be driven hard as is the Porsche tradition, or is this a poser build?
Agree with lots of that except the singer comment. Might be a bit subjective, I’ve watched practically every singer video on YT, and I’d actually say the opposite in regards to the interior
This build is so over rated and ridiculously over priced. Nothing here different from what 911 guys have been doing for 30 years. To hear this guys talk like they’re doing something new is cringeworthy.
whats with the stupid colorfilter on everything jesus... plus for half a million I'd say this project seriously 'meh' for so much less there are countless better custom 911
just found this vid......911 owner myself and big resto singer etc fan.......this is an incredible over the top build $$$$$$$, simply spectacular...love the color.....the handbag accents?....very strange choice....yikes.......horrible....sorry....to each his own sure...but many similar comments re the trim....yikes...car deserved better...its interesting how little choices can make or break a car for me......glorious effort........but not for me
The intention to detail is beyond belief. The engine to the suspension, brakes, interior, gauges including all the small details is off the hook congratulations to everyone that had there hands all over this special 911.
Another criminally underrated video. Excellent
Appreciate it 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Fr, his quality is top notch
Wow! Amazing. I love when a build looks like not a lot has been changed from a novices perspective but to a enthusiast eye those small well done details set the car far apart from the original.
Good grief this was amazing. The car, the project, the film. All perfect. Great job team. What a masterpiece
Thanks! It was a fun one!
you blind bro?
Gorgeous build, interior is a bit unusual but to each his own. 😎
also 4 different types of louvers @ back. That looks incoherent to the point 10 year old child would do.
Ooooo, that Goyard print is super sick.
Crazy as this sounds, I want to put this level of detail into a 1997 mustang gt. Time to make it happen!
What an absolutely great coverage of this build and another totally underrated channel which only popped up because of my recent 911 searches.
What an absolute pleasure to watch. You're engineering skills, where form and function meet, are in the realm of art. Bravo Gentlemen, bravo.
I’m just flabbergasted that people can put so much energy into something that has such little vision. Congratulations you made a 40 year old car marginally better, ignoring massive leaps forward in every aspect. Dream a little bigger next time.
Insane job dudes. One of the nicest restomod Porsche’s yet. 🤙🏻
it's insane how peoples tastes are different... good grief!
It’s not about passion, it’s about MAD MONEY more than brains.
It’s literally just a singer knockoff
I usually skim through UA-cam videos

bingo
I love the bespoke-ness all over the car. Reminds me of a Singer car. Excellent, EXCELLENT job
Proper is the word that comes to mind after seeing this build.
Amazing car, I just hope somebody gets to drive this :)
I have no words!
Ripping apart $2000 handbags for interior is dope.
more like NOPE
This build is BEYOND clean. I hope to be able to do something crazy someday, but nothing of this level. I would love to find an e30 that needs some love and completely overhaul it.
Amazing content, keep this up Cody!
That goyard detailing 🔥
Just discovered your channel - fantatsic filming & editing, and the car is spectacular too!
Excellent 👌🏾
Great video !
This is amazing
Amazing Car! 😍
You guys. Did a amazing job you should do a super rare one with the 4.0 Gt3 Rs engine
looks so cool ❤️🔥
Amazing car n build here

RWB RULES !!!!!!!!
Breaks my heart to see the cars park in the field and not be covered or parked in a building
It’s Southern California, it’s gonna be fine
TORILLE! Simolle terkkuja!
Beautifully made! Only I would have chosen a chocolate brown upholstery and alcantara. And carbon bumpers, you don’t see the difference when they are painted but they’re lighter and don’t oxidize. Well they wanted to keep it oldschool too
Wow. Awesome build. ❤️
Great content
Absolutely beautiful. One question: so no frunk?
My eyes just came
the goyard leather looks so good but green would have been better than brown imho
Love it all except the cheap Goyard plastic looking shiny handbag detailing- ruined it for me entirely. Beautiful engine build- beautifully built- except that detail. Just my opinion- but YUCK!

Totally agree. Interior a big letdown. Rims also not to my taste
Another amazing production, 🔥🔥👌🏾👌🏾.
Pretty sure I saw this on a trailer in Los Angeles at the end of November, almost wasn't able to get the picture of it
For me, it's a very fine line between building an awesome car, and building a car so awesome and perfect that you wouldn't want to drive it and diminish the perfection. To me, this car is in the latter category. I guess for me it's moot anyway though, I could never afford it.
😎💯 super clean
Amazing build. Well done 👍🏻
You are using the same tachometer as Singer?
What a great car! The grey interior is not a great choice thou…. Otherwise very beautiful result
“Take the 70’s design, add the turbo flares…and then really just copy everything Singer 911 did…”
Im surprised you are the 1st one to point that out. But yea Singer is basicly better in all ways and details
Was that a zip tie at 9:23? ;)
When will it be on the road?
Fantastic.
What colour is it please?
I heard “Lexus ?” and couldn’t hear it clearly even on second try 🤷♂️
LFA
Those boys can give Singer a run for their money. And about $1 million cheaper. Nicely done! Great video!
It’d be pretty similarly priced as a normal Singer if you get a spot on the waiting list. A mil cheaper than the DLS, but I wouldn’t even call that car a porsche from how much was designed and built from scratch.
Poor man's Singer.
cant compare it to a singer dls with a bespoke 4L engine build with williams that revs up to 9k as an aircooled engine with a weight under 1000kg
Love everything except that weird looking pattern on the handbrake and door cards.
This thing looks insane, up there with the best like Singer etc.
classic grey interior?
what flares were used?
Très belle réalisation mais le tissu ...noooon !
So basically they tried to build a Singer... haha. Looks rad tho
Should have had Jae Lee from Mirage intl build a 4.4L flat 6 for this car instead of the 3.8L one of one engine for a one of one car! Super sick build though
its a 3.9L not a 3.8L ;)
also a better characteristic for an old light weight car
that fusebox and wiringmess can not be their truth???
from the outside it looks so amazing and the sond is fucking awesome but then you take a look at the interior and it seems like someone took a shit and rubbed it in
Almost as nice as Jack olsens car and setup.
Holyshit
Lexus LFA color what?
it a bit too raspy?
RWB is best in the world
and even cheaper, this ain't coming close!
@@g60force rwb is a way to ruin your car with unprofessional mods :D
just screw on wide arches isnt even near that kind of engineering
These guys come across as the desperate housewives of car restoration.
Admire the work - end result looks a bit naff IMO. Interioir in particular is cringe. Kind of over these Singer type builds, sorry.
Beautiful build, singer quality. The color inside and out is a bit drab but that's a personal view
Singer quality ? Not even close . Rob Dickinson is on a hole different level
6 months to decide on the color and went with....gray!!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Woulda been cooler if it was carbon :o
never 8 spoke wheels. 7 is best, then 5. look up bbs for inspiration. bbs wheels are the best.
It seems like everybody is trying to copy the Singer platform.
Fucking hideous upholstery...
There’s a hole in his pants 9:50 :O

The price is most likely higher. I don’t have an exact number. This is just a quick guess.
Agree with lots of that except the singer comment. Might be a bit subjective, I’ve watched practically every singer video on YT, and I’d actually say the opposite in regards to the interior

Kinda sounds like a dirtbike....
First off, EWWWWW! What's with the crap color combos?! Stuff like the suspension with the yellow and purple coil overs. Absolute garbage.
whats with the stupid colorfilter on everything jesus...
plus for half a million I'd say this project seriously 'meh'
for so much less there are countless better custom 911

take that, Singer.....
wheels are a tad big and the interior is meh - but gorgeous everything else. these things are kinda getting played out.
The wheels are way too big and the interior is sooooooooo bad. Really nice overall build though
🙆♂️period-correct, something not too many knows about
Love the car but the wiring is garbage... Crimp conecters?
do not waste your money the engin is in the wrong place ,get a gen 1 cayman and drive it till you are a pro driver ,be the driver not the car.
The bodywork looks horrific, nothing line-up 🤣🤣 I'm sorry but I've done better than this at my old work
Again money can't buy taste
Only real wood belongs on that dashboard...with 90 plus coats of clear...that handbag look tho..w#@+)!?...?
$500,000 porshce build.. Harbor freight car jacks haha. The irony.
interior......sad.....I would of went grey stingray
Meh- I’ll take a nice LWB hot rod 911 over this and have plenty of money left over. 😂
Beautiful car, but another singer knockoffs
Porsche... Pronounced
POR- SHA
Not Porsh...
I was up with the build till they made the interior look like a womans purse.
Meh ... Porsche restomods are becoming far too common! Time to switch it up, and this wasn't it!
Meh
What is this sound
total overkill, this is not a 911 anymore. and the sound is just hideous, almost like a broken mazda RX7.
