Actually, this music existed as symphonic music & then accompanied ballet before Fantasia was ever thought of. Fantasia’s musical score was borrowed directly from a variety of classical music compositions.
I believe this is a scene from the nutcracker. So it’s a dance within a much larger story/ballet. In the background I believe the two people sitting are Clara and the prince.
This dance is one of the many dances to entertain Clara and the prince upon entering the “land of sweets” in the ballet “the nutcracker”. Hope this helps
