I’ve watched all of you sewer’s club unboxing and project reveals…people always have the option of skipping ahead…ignore the haters and keep doing what you do!
Good morning and happy Wednesday. Only 3 weeks until 2025, can you believe? Soon it'll be time to do the quilting on your temperature quilt. And booooooo to the viewer tells you to stop talking. How rude, coming into your home (so to speak) to watch a video that you provide *for free,* and demanding that you change your style to please them. Whoever that is, shame on them. Good news! You've gained three subscribers since you filmed this video :-) What a wonderful pouch! It looks like a lot of little pieces, but if it were my project I think I'd make it despite my aversion to piecework because it's just that lovely. The zipper pull is the perfect accent for it, especially if one fussy cuts the tree like they did in the photo. Beautiful holiday fabric, too. As for the extras, I'm currently making grabby-hands at the screen over that bobbin saver. I have a bobbin boat & love it; having a big one like this would be even better. I don't use white thread often, but it makes sense with this project so no complaints there. It's another winner from Sewers Club. Now, now, don't panic over making the H squares. I know that you know that you can cut a long strip & then just make the squares lickety-split with a rotary cutter. It's the stitching-them-together that should induce fear, LOL!! All joking aside, you've got this. Just take a deep breath, don't rush it, and all will be well. This is going to look so great when it's finished. Looking forward to seeing - and hearing about - the finished project in ten days.
Good morning! i think this is the fastest I've responded to the comment section in a while. I am attempting to try to stick to a filming and editing schedule as my housework and sewing has fallen to the wayside and my family arrives Friday. I am so not ready. Anyways, I know I need to let the randoms stop annoying me but I have time stamps for a reason and reading that same type of comment on every unboxing video is tiring. This unboxing is usually my most popular video in the month, so that is why you were subjected to my little rant. I know cutting it won't be too difficult, it's the size that's daunting, but thank you for reminding that the piecing might possibly be worse 😂 I hope to start on it tonight after dinner, and continue in the evenings, after my in-laws leave, until it's finished. That is, after I catch up on my temp quilt and make my BOM and clean up my sewing area and the list keeps growing.
Are you going to get January's box? So far, I've ended up liking the projects in every box but I've only been getting it since May which was the Poppy's Two-Tone Notion Pouch. Which is gone because my granddaughter visited from out-of-state and she needed a pencil case so I offered her a variety of pouches to use and she chose the Poppy Notion Pouch. My daughter just wrote me and said my granddaughter really, really loves that pouch I gave her. I've decided to continue getting the subscription box. I pay quarterly.
Oh no, that sucks. Sometimes they have spare boxes available closer to the end of the month and you can always buy their pattern separately too. I'm sorry you missed this one, last month's was a cool box too, but I think this one might be better.
I liked doing this. Will I make it again? Probably not. I kind of wish the top was a bit more 'boxed' looking and having the nice star fabric on the bottom....well....you don't really see it. I do like the bottom having so much room and I definitely will be using this if I don't gift it to someone. Actually, thinking about this now, it will probably be a pretty special gift for someone.
The box hasn't even made it to my sewing room yet and you have yours finished! That's awesome. Interesting note about the construction, I'll have to keep it in mind. I look forward to watching your thoughts on yours before I make mine. I haven't touched my sewing space in almost 2 weeks, I am so behind on everything.
@ I'm putting a pause on sewing while I rearrange my sewing and crafting spaces. Flip flopping the rooms contents so I have windows when I'm sewing. So, it might be a bit before I have any finished projects.
Your chatting is fine. Besides it’s your channel, do what you like. Love the fabric. Looking forward to see the finished project.
Thank you 😊 I think it’s going to be a lovely little pouch

Talk away! lol. I Like hearing people talk.
Me too! I tend to subscribe to people who share a bit of themselves. Thank you for this comment ❤️😊
I love that little project. And thank you for the code, I used it to subscribe to my first stash builder box.
That’s awesome! I hope you get a great box.
This box looks so fun! I’m jealous I got November but not December’s I was hoping November’s would be seasonal and it was not.
