I ordered a Kia Telluride s trim back in December of 2021 and as of August 2022 still have a zero clue of when it's coming. After contacting 23 different Kia dealerships across the country we found a dealership that will be getting in a shipment next month, it's one time above what we ordered but it has more bells and whistles and I'm so excited!
I been in a 2019 telluride my friend has one it is not bad interior looks great comfortable love the heated seats with multiple setting and engine is quick in sport I like how you can see your blind spot in the mirror camera when you turn left or right it is quick but not fast also it automatically brakes
@CarCoachReports Great review. I could be mistaken but if your B-roll at 8:21 is your test vehicle, then it was equipped with heated and ventilated second row seats. The buttons are on the door rest right ahead of the window button. It looks like this model was an SX Prestige as distinguished by the Nappa leather pattern, the 2nd-row center console power outlet, suede headliner and HUD display. I'm curious as to why anyone would want to turn off safety measures line Lane-Keep Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW)? To me these are new life-saving features, especially with the amount of distracted driving these days. These new passive and active features can beep on occasion but it's worth it to me to keep my occupants safe. Back when seatbelts were introduced I imagine they were considered annoying yet by wearing them many lives have been saved.
Kia design department definitely has the Japanese automakers on high alert. Especially Honda. They know what cars should be looking like in the 2020s and they are capitalizing on it.
My fiance and I ordered one back in December of last year and we still have no delivery date. We're getting impatient and next month are getting an ex nightfall edition dark Moss from a different dealership. And I am so excited
Nice vehicle! It amazes me just how far Kia has come since the Kia Sephia of the 90's. Looking at the palm trees and the Spanish moss along your drive, I'm guessing you were driving in Florida. That said, Florida agrees with you Lauren. You are prettier than ever! ☺️
Good review - I have a 2022 SX w/Prestige and love it. It's a very easy vehicle to drive and live with. I appreciate your critical comment on the passenger side seat not having a lumbar adjustment, but... what competitors offer that feature in this price point? Once you go up to luxury brands like Acura, I can see it - but this vehicle really isn't intended to compete in that class anyway. (Although some Kia dealers will shockingly place high surcharges on Tellurides as if they were in a luxury class).
Great review and details! I am confused between Telly sx and Acura MDX 22 tech package as they fall into same price category with Telly having a markup. I am not impressed with way mdx drives, especially the underpowered v6 engine though it handles well. Telly on other hand had a very punchy acceleration and serene ride quality. Any thoughts ?
Telluride SX $51k MSRP... most dealerships charge $10-15k Additional Dealer Mark-up (ADM)... It's still a KIA with depreciation coming down the pipe. Porsche charges $10k ADM for $150k cars plus APPRECIATION... KIA Dealers are gouging consumers based on ratings... too bad 👎🏼 You can buy an Acura MDX SH-AWD fully loaded for $55k no ADM and save $5-10k + a time-tested AWD reputation. Tired of the KIA Telluride hype.
I enjoyed my 2020 Telluride SX Prestige AWD until I started to notice my overall mpg remains around 18 which was a bit disappointing (I drive locally primarily in the NYC Suburbs). I then traded it in for a Kia Sorento PHEV. So far I’m enjoying it even more not just because of the stellar mpge, but it looks better and the pure EV drive makes it a really tranquil ride. Btw I did not use the sound of nature in either cars… a bit gimmicky imo😉
A good comparison. I have reviewed both vehicles and the Telluride offers so much value and longer warranty. I do like the Acura product, it’s resale value and what it offers. At this point you have to look at insurance rates, payment and hopefully you can find a vehicle that is not over sticker price. That’s a bigger challenge
@@CarCoachReports Is Kia telluride a great value even with markup? What I see is MDX dealers markup less that Telly and now they both have same price. MDX engine lacks punch and the drive is not smooth as telluride.
Telluride if you need the space. If you do want to go for Highlander, definitely go for the Hybrid. At least the mpg will balance out lack of 3rd row space and limited cargo
the only issue is Kia has ridiculous market adjustment. I contact two local Kia dealers, one asked $8k market adjustment on EX model, the other asks $12k on SXP. With that market adjustment, Kia telluride is no longer an attracting vehicle. I know it's a good, but sorry it's still a Kia.
Shop out of town, there are plenty of dealers including here in Buffalo who will sell at sticker. Don’t be afraid to travel to get what you want at sticker
I was looking at your really old videos from like 10 years ago, and let me tell you…. You got hotter with time. Its so weird that a woman looks better 10 years later. I wish i could find a Telluride without a mark up. 😩

Not only in design but overall a more appealing package they offer. I have left the japanese a while now.
The most detailed explanation I ever watch!
I have one on order and am excited to receive it. No deliver date has been communicated, but I enjoyed your review very much. Thank you.

Lauren love your review's, but Kia DOESN'T offer FREE complimentary 3 year maintenance! They charge for it, BUT Hyundai DOES offer it for FREE.
Yes, but Finding a honest Hyundai dealership is the key.
Which one do you suggest 2020 model or 2022 kia telluride
If you can find a new 2022 I’d get it. Finding a Telluride is the key
So can I go with 2020 or 2021 telluride if I find one because I'm buying the car for the first time let me know thanks regards rushad
I prefer the 2022, there are a few changes but not many between the 2 years
But what will be the price difference
Dealership price adjustments are STEEP
I don't know if I should go for the toyota highlander xse or the kia telluride sx which is the best option to keep not for lease to own ??

Depends on the dealer. The local dealer here in Buffalo does not charge over window sticker.
@@CarCoachReports can you please give me one or more name of dealers that you mention? Thank you.
Is this vehicle on the same competition as the Hyundai Palisade?
yes, since it's the same company 😂
Yes, but Palisade has less space behind the 3rd row.
Outside of that, they are the same.
The bad thing in the Telluride that there is No paddle shifters
Hopefully the Telluride doesn’t BURN OIL like my 2016 Kia Sorento!
Good luk with the korean cans
And any American cars anymore.
They need to update the speedo and tach.looks very basic.for a vehicle costs so much.
higher trim has all lcd gauge cluster
